If you were to have a pop singer and a rock singer sing the US national anthem, it is likely that the rock singer will outdo themselves. This is due to rock singers needing to have a decent amount of control, tone, et cetera in order to even sing rock. This isn’t always the case but it is an association.
You're all wrong. Some pop singers are better than some rock singers, and some rock singers are better than some pop singers.

What I have noticed about this song with Andy's influence is that it comes across as not so self loving as intended by the original singer, but self deprecating with self awareness, which makes it true art, with its metal it stands out as it could be a legitimately meaningful song. At least that's what I have gathered from it, either way it's entertaining. Keep it up bro, love it.
Better than the original. There are other metal versions of this song too, ones that stick to the slow tempo of the original. They are also better. All brilliant. But this one gets extra points for the imaginative tempo change and gnarly instrument playing (especially the drums) and for synching it up to a video too (but our Andy always does that).
Years later, I'm still posting this video and the one for "Dancing Queen" to facebook. Andy Rehfeldt's work is one of the best things on CZcams.
