What a nice hike. If you put up a wooden fence,you wouldn't be able to see the whole view😊. I liked the bridges,especially the swinging one. Didnt look too bad as the sides were high and there was something to hold on to. Those views were incredible. I can't believe I missed all that when I was there. I have just 3 pictures of the creek. I kinda think it was cold and rainy thats why we didn't see anything. I did see the ice mine tho. Liked the one in Coudersport better. Stay safe.❤❤❤❤❤
My son and I did part of this hike last summer when he came for a visit. He is an Eagle Scout so has done a lot of hiking in Pa. but now resides in San Diego.
Anyway we took pictures on the rainbow falls with our cell phones and when we looked at the pictures later, the water was sparkling and multi-colored! I will send a few shots to your email address!

Wow Cliff!; what a beautiful hike! This trail really does have it all. I was impressed by Balanced Rock in all its magnificence..... I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm terrified of heights, you have more guts than I do walking out to the edge of that overlook at 8:15 of the video. My legs turn to jelly and the palms of my hands and soles of my feet get sweaty! I also don't care too much for swinging bridges either! 😅 Thank you.
This park looks like a blast. I'd never even know about places like this in the Commonwealt if not for your content. May have to make a trip here in the future.

You brought back a lot of memories. I also took a left at the top of the stairs and had to double back to get to balanced rock. Trough Creek is among my top five state parks in Pennsylvania. Thanks so much for sharing this.

I do really REALLY miss the woods in PA!!! In Nebraska there are little areas of trees that they call "woods", but its really not...lol...not like back home in the East! Beautiful video views, thank you!

Trough Creek is my favorite place... I've been hiking there most of my life... It IS a hidden gem..and I wouldn't mind if it stayed that way... It's nice because it isn't over used. Word of caution if you go there in summer. There are loads of copperheads and rattlesnakes. Always makes me nervous when i see people letting their kids and dogs run..
We live not far from here next door in Blair County. We've had a number of family picnics there.

If anyone visits the park, also hike the brumbrough trails amazing views of the lake on it.

There is an old sighting report from 1994.. used to be on pa bigfoot society website.
