Then he waited for GGG to be past his prime to fight him and still really lost the first fight but the judges called it a draw. Then he lost to Bivol but the judges scored it way closer than it was. Munguia fighting in the pocket did him no justice. He had the longer reach so was unable to throw or land any shots… IMO Canelo did everything perfectly.

Canelos punch resistance is insane. Mungui was fresh young and undefeated and he could punch. Canelo ate it all. Crazy to think Canelo was only hurt by Golovkin even in the 3rd fight.

Munguia had a height & reach advantage, he used this advantage in the first 3-4 rounds. Then Munguia decided to BEND down to Canelo's height and try to fight inside. That was his mistake. Munguia abandon an effective jab and not pick his spots , by bending down to Canelo's height to slug he gave away his best chance to win.

Canelo Is the King 62-2-2 and 7 years younger than Floyd, you're correct in saying that Floyd woke him up. Since then he's soared, as one of the greatest in his divisions. I agree that Mungia will only become better, only if he puts in the work like Canelo has. I disagree on Canelo's next fight, and still don't think Benavides is worthy at a shot. Canelo got a chin stone! Benavidez is a good boxer but he has never been hit by a boxer like Canelo. That is why I got Canelo winning that fight regardless of what people think. Munguia has tough chin but we all saw what that upper cut did to him. Canelo could of finished Munguia but he didn't . He wanted to make sure Munguia can use the fight as an experience tp grow just like he did with Mayweather.
