Thank you so much 😀, I want to do more paintings with pastel, there's so much to learn yet.. and i saw that can use oil or water too, so complex.

Oh wow! That really sounds like an amazing variety of tools! I think after I master Traditional oils I'll move on to digital ones 😂 but for now I'll stick with learning digital and keep painting traditional.. although I hope to learn more from you, sensei 😂

This is brilliant but I would have preferred a commentary explaining your methods.

Dayum I always wanted to learn how to paint pastels but never had time. I know what I'm gonna be doing.
    This picture looks amazing.

Go for it! I think, in my opinion (of a total newbie 😂) , it's more beginners friendly, because you don't need to put so much effort to make a perfect shape of things or be very picky with colors or to worry with details... but ofc you have a room to grow and master it and mix with water, oil, and do wonderful arts with pastels.

Nice artwork, don't seems a Pastels first try. Very nice. Good control of soft areas, hard surfaces and texture. Do you liked it?
Remember that you can use any oil brush (or other media), adding it to Dry media category, for example the Rake oil brushes; Georg likes to use the Oil Knives with pastel tool for their portraits. There's also a lot of dry brushes in Pencil (charcoals). Using structures and changing Paper also adds a lot of creative possibilities, but I still need to practice that.
You can also make pretty realistic clouds (if you look for that) painting them in Pastels (in new layer). Then wet the area with 100%, and use the Blow tool. This is the first time I did it: czcams.com/video/RWxWtuGe_yw/video.html

Thanks! I like to do painterly style sometimes, so i think that pastel could be a nice start for me to try a different media, that's why it don't look like a first try, but the other media that i want to test is watercolor, and this one will be hard to make something good hah! Idk anything about watercolor too.
Just these days that i saw this thing (pure luck) that you can change papers, while painting, and can have different effects of papers on a same painting! hahaha I didn't know about it! I saw somewhere in the forum someone comments, but i didn't know that was about this.
Structures, stencil, and other thousands of things of Rebelle have, that i never used, and prolly won't use, it's too much to worry about it.
I totally forgot about this tool Blow, the wet layer/ dry layer, it's because i don't use watercolor, i know that the icons exists in the layers there but i never used.

@@DougMurakamiArt Yes, watercolor is harder, but pretty cool once you get used. This is the cool about Rebelle. It seems that haw small amount of tools. But really lots of things you can do. And good color mixing, of course.
