Top class interview and interviewee. Well done Adam, very perceptive, engaging and empathetic interview. It’s clear you’ve worked hard on the art and craft of interviewing. And Patrick is a class act. Rare combination of honesty and tactfulness.

Great interview & insight into Patrick. Always comes across as an intelligent guy & an effort to keep riding at his size so hopefully achieves those riding aims before packing in. Willie surely has one for the kim muir at some stage 😅 Willie's very engaging with the presenters on race days & that looks set to continue when he eventually hands over the reins to patrick.

in my opinion in terms of townend and paddy riding skills, styles etc... paddy is tall so put a tall person on a horse more balanced is needed by the horse to control that tall weight, that's why jockeys are small its not just weight the height plays factor small jockey can crouch his body up so small like a ball.. it's like a human too put something on your head or back thats small you will balance it now put a long object the balance needed is harder its all low center gravity etc.
