Ferry Crossing - King Seaways - IJmuiden to Newcastle

With DFDS offering a 50% saving on their minicruises , it was the perfect time for a trip over to Newcastle on the 1987 built King Seaways. The vessel is still in perfect condition despite her 37 years at sea. The weather for this trip was a strong northwesterly wind, Force 7-9 with a moderate to rough sea state. We left a bit late from IJmuiden due to the weather but arrived on time in Newcastle. I can highly recommend this mini cruise, especially when it's on offer.. the crew and food are amazing and both vessels were only recently refurbished with new cabins.
