I can’t wait to get this figure in hand! I love the colors, and the design is phenomenal! As much as I still love the SS38 Optimus, this one takes the cake. Also, that last bit had me balling 🤣
the budget wasnt even for an entirely new figure but a retool of bumblebee prime meaning that hasbro made this on a lower budget than an average voyager
SS ROTB Optimus does look pretty good, except for the back of the truck. No offense, but I hate the “you’re never gonna display it from the back” argument. It’s a 3 dimensional toy so of course people are gonna want it to look good from all angles, especially if you’re playing/animating with it. Other than that it’s pretty good. The head sculpt is nice, as well as all the different ways he can wield his sword, I like the options you have with it. The Hotrod shoulders are pretty bad though. I don’t think they’re bad in theory, I just think it’d be better if a figure had both normal shoulder joints as well as Hotrod Shoulders (kind of like Seige Shockwave). But given how the designers literally ran out of budget they did pretty good with what they had. Anyway nice mini review
Personally, I’m going to wait for the next movie Optimus prime and hope this time it has a better back side in vehicle mode. I like it, but no trailer hitch for trailer looking like that truck feels so wrong to me. This is still a great figure that people should buy if they really want to. Don’t take my opinion so harshly, those are just my problems with how the figure doesn’t meet all my needs In a prime.
@@fegreninja7197 with the seekers I only ever buy starscreams unless I find one of the other 2 like rid skywarp, i don't own a thundercracker and the datsun brothers I only manged to get my hands on a siege bluestreak

They have ruined the truck mode
To be honest, I think rotb optimus is the worst rotb figure. Sure, the robot mode is pretty good, but the alt mode is horrendous.
