I watched that episode of Strange Inheritance a few months ago and this collection was featured, absolutely loved the story behind this incredible collection, ya gotta know the original collectors would be honored that their passion in life will be appreciated by many for years to come😎😎😎
Man this is a Freaking Amazing Collection, I'm gonna look for that episode of Strange Inheritance on CZcams and see if I can find it, there's a video on CZcams somewhere of a guy in South Georgia that has a pretty amazing collection as well, I think you will appreciate it if you haven't seen it? I love your channel btw buddy, I've been subscribed for awhile and I'm Extremely Impressed by the artifacts you find and your knowledge, I was wondering if you had a minute if you would look at a video I posted a few days ago of a Artifact I found 20 years ago, I have no idea what it is and no one has been able to tell me, I titled it" Native American Gamepiece?" Although I don't think it's a gamepiece because it's made out of some type of sandstone or pottery but if you could possibly tell me what you think it is I would greatly appreciate it, I've asked a few people to take a look at it but no one has except Coyote and he didn't know what it was, man that dude is the Nicest Guy on the internet and he's the one that encouraged me to make videos again, I've been collecting for 25 years but since I started a CZcams channel I've fell on very hard times and haven't been mobile for awhile so I'm mostly just going relic hunting where I can walk from my house unless on the very rare occasion someone actually wants to go with me and I can catch a ride with them, it's primetime where I am when the water levels recede on the lake, I have like 20 plentiful honey holes but unfortunately I can't get to them without a vehicle but if I was in 7 miles of any of my holes I'd be making that journey every chance I got lol, but anyway Brother yeah if you could take a look at it I would appreciate it, Hope you're doing well and GL&HH To You✌
Oh and the video I was talking about is titled "South Georgia Man Has Prolific Arrowhead Collection"... it's a Amazing Collection, I think you'll enjoy it, GL&HH ✌
Cool Video Jeff! That was an amazing collection of Arrowheads! The clear quartz arrowhead is still on my list to find! I dont hunt for them as much as I used to when I was a kid however I still enjoy finding them!
Seen i think 2 fluted points on a picture amongst the hundreds of frames! Only 9 minutes in. The Holy Spirit blessed every native that made these artifacts. Awesome 👍😎
Very neat. Another collection in wisconsin. A under ground tomb it there with 4 cheifs gathered around a sea shell. His tractor fell through. He has an entire building full of artifacts. Thank you for sharing.
The archeologists don’t care about artifacts that were found on the surface in plowed fields as these were. They were already out of context so there is nothing wrong with collecting them. And I can make them also.
Awesome collection. Some display cases in the video seem questionable. I am a self taught flint Knapper of over 30 years. Wasn't no internet around back then. Still a nice video though.
What happened to Woodrow Willson Grant of Old Fort NC? I would say his collection was at least similar in size. Some of this collection could have came from there.
Love it! Mystery Hill is one of our favorite places to visit, we have the Vortex Pass! We made a video from our trip there recently too, would love for you guys to check it out!
Great collection. Is it the largest? The Favell museum in Oregon has Over 100,000 artifacts. When the founder was alive they had more but many have been return to the owners that lent them for display.
I know of one in N MO a fella has that's pushing 100k 90% he found himself, the rest were found by people he allowed to come along. Was part of the deal, you never went back unless with him and he kept everything found. He has some awesome spots he has been cataloging on private ground for over 50yrs. Quite the learning experience tagging along even if you can't keep what you find.
I may be alone in this, but I would rather have conservation priveledg es of these humble stones than ownership of all the gold that came from the tomb of Tutankhamen
Jesus that guy prolly has a million dollars just in shadow boxes lol amazing collection, you know im somewhat of a collector myself.....ive almost filled up 2 cigar boxes lol
@@Treasuremonk I've been goin to antique stores and flea markets looking around for a shadow box that I can get on the cheap for the points I've found but imma need to find a few more before I can put together something like those lol, where is this person located anyway?
@@Treasuremonk if u do end up watching my video and see some of the points I've found let me know what kind u think they are, I'm terrible at iding them but imma make another video soon when I get done digging out this overhang I've been working on
I know someone that had a relative that hunted with Moon Mullins and i have seen this collection several times. They are all real. I know another family that has tens of thousands of artifacts. I have thousands myself all from NC. Ive seen unreal collections from my state.
@@EagerJackrabbit-wy6zn have you ever seen this collection? Ive seen and held knapped hooks and can take you to the camps along the creek where they were found. My inlaws uncle hunted with Moon Mullins. The man spent every spare minute of his life looking for artifacts. Ive read the articles about how fish hooks are all fake. Thats a lie. Ive seen this collection at Mystery Hill i can assure you everything in it is real. There are lots of huge collections like this. I know an individual that loaned over 10,000 artifacts that are all personal finds to a museum. I have thousands myself. You must be a bot or dont know how to find anything because your channel has zero content not a single video or post.

These are worthless. They make piles and piles of these in Taiwan and China and sell buckets of them at gift shops all over the US. Unless you're an archaeologist excavating a Native American site, what can you learn from an arrowhead once it's removed from its context? It's just a handmade projectile point. But you don't know if it's ten years old or ten thousand. You don't know if someone found a Clovis point 1200 years ago and then carried it around until 1000 years ago. You don't know what other artifacts it was found with, or what kinds of plants and bones could have been seen there as well. If it's just a random arrowhead in a case, so what? I know this was a trend for decades to build these display cases and arrange the arrowheads in little patterns. It's like the masculine version of needlepoint I guess? Would be 1000x more impressed to see anyone make one of these.

I use antique barrister bookcases and also a nice table from Amazon that has a glass top
I went to Moon's house back on the hill behind Catawba Mall many times as a kid. I'm glad this collection was not dispersed.

It had been many years since I was there. After much searching, I found it. The place is Henschels Indian Museum.
Near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
Reminds me of the Hutson Museum in Parkdale, OR. I visited it on vacation a few years ago!

Do they sell any arrowheads?
Not sure..
No they dont
Should be called museum of modern flintknapping
Why do you say that? This is an authentic collection from decades ago.

Nope, INDIAN! The tomahawk kind..🙄. And they place has NO safe space for you to cry in sorry
So WHAT did the “Natives “ call themselves?? Everything I’ve read says “Indians” ..and remember,, they came from what is now Russia… so
We didn't get to see any of them . What a misleading video .
but where are the artifacts lamo
