During the events of Invincible’s first episode in Season 2, we saw as a man named Angstrom Levy gets sucked out of his universe by a strange portal, and afterwards he ends up in a room filled with other versions of himself from all over the multiverse, as one prime Angstrom plans to use his collective genius to save the entire multiverse, by bridging a gap between all of the worlds through him that would allow him to take the best aspects of one world and bring them to another, in an attempt to end all pain and torment. This plan unfolds as Angstrom Prime recruits the Mauler Twins to help him build several machines in different universes that he then hooks himself up to with all of his variants, but Invincible, not understanding what’s happening here, arrives on the scene and tells them to shut the machine off. This starts a battle between Mark and the Mauler twins that starts to get a little crazy as Multiverse Maulers show up and overwhelm Mark pretty easily, but seeing the bloodshed and not being comfortable, Angstrom tries to stand up from the machine to stop the violence, and it instead explodes destroying every mauler twin but 1, before it’s revealed in the post credits that not only did Angstrom survive, but NOW he’s a freak with a massive brain, and a revenge mission against Invincible that he intends, to fulfill.

Season 2 of Invincible promises an intriguing plot, with hints from the original comics by Robert Kirkman. Expect the Sequids' scheme to conquer Earth, Titan's crime organization expansion, and Allen's cosmic adventures. Meanwhile, Mark faces challenges with Cecil's methods and the return of Omni-Man to space, potentially reuniting with the Viltrumites. The introduction of Angstrom Levy, a multidimensional villain, seems central to the plot, as indicated by the Season 2 trailer's revelations. This season will delve into multiverse dynamics, introducing Evil Mark and a team of new, yet imperfect, superheroes. With Angstrom Levy as the arch-nemesis, expect an epic clash of powers and dimensions.

Imagine if Mark didn't stop it, and Levy completed the procedure. Imagine how different the story would have been
Still might have ended up bad, enough of the Angstroms were traumatized that it could have been an issue, plus Angstrom has kind of a god complex
didn't the Prime Angstrom said all other dimensions Mark sided with his father. So that's alot of memories that hates him
@@Dimizarhe just said MOST universe mark sides w/ omniman
@@joshidk-zy9xjin the comics our invisible was the only one to turn good if I remember
@@swordsunknown5226I don't think, they just didn't show the good marks because they had no need for them, and didn't want him getting help from his variants lol
Levy brought about this grotesque change on himself, but because his memories are all mixed, he can’t seem to tell that the morally good mark is not like the others who joined Omni Man.
I didn't even think about that that makes so much sense
@@dingusgooberit isn’t directly stated in the comics but the surviving Mauler twin in the show does point out how Angstrom couldn’t separate his memories from his alternate versions.
@@guyinthechair5795I thought it was strange. I thought I would've caught that if it was in the comics
ah I thought he was read tardy and I was right
@@dingusgooberI think you can actually catch it based on the hatred of the angstrom that fell through the portal joining up with Prime Angstrom. I also speculate that Mark joined Omni Man in most universes so that why it's a dominant memory.
You left out the most important part: the WHY he wanted to get revenge. It wasn’t just because Invincible interrupted them and subsequently turned him into a freak and destroyed the machine, it was because that, due to the memories of every version of him connected to that machine now being in his mind, he remembers EVERY BAD THING that EVERY Invincible has ever done in various worlds. So, it’s not just due to vanity, it’s a confused man who wants to “avenge” pretty much the entire MULTIVERSE.
i remember being confused about this when i read the comics and angstrom had blamed mark for what happened
This needs to be pinned
He should really have an equally strong grudge against Omni Man and maybe even all Viltrumites, it doesn’t make any sense to only target Invincible. 🤦♂️
@@LoudWaffleTHANK YOU!!
@@LoudWaffleI believe it's because most of his alternate counterparts had bad memories of Mark taking over Earth. Why he doesn't also hate Omni-Man I'm not sure, but Angstrom probably doesn't even know the other Viltrumites like that in most realities.
this all could've easily resolved if they builded the machine in a dimension without people alive or something like that
Yes that's a choice i can't understand. I hope it will be explained
@@AlanRedrewIt makes a bit of sense angstrom has a god complex and just assumed everything will go his way
He also can’t teleport through space so finding a universe with no people and sufficient materials would be troublesome. He’d also need about six of them.
Maybe, but "could have easily been resolved" doesn't go well in the same sentence with "or something like that" i don't think it would have been so eazy
Or he could have just portaled Mark when he showed up and brought him back when the work was done.
The same machine was built in multiple universes. After the one in this universe blew, all the others followed. Also, Levy didn’t just get a “big brain” he now has all the knowledge and memories of every Levy in the multiverse
“I thought you were stronger”
Cold 🥶
That scene is gonna be a cold one when it finally gets animated
Mark said as he looked at human mashed potatoes.
Should keep in mind that he doesn't lose his pacifism and hates Mark just for doing his job while being misinformed. His memories are mixed with many of the other Angstrums who dealt with the variants of Mark who turned out evil, whether it was joining Nolan or just taking over by himself when he is told that he is in charge of Earth by the Viltrumites.
Just like Mark "did his job" while being misinformed. The reason they are great enemies is due to both of their reasons being the same flawed thought.
Then why would he work with 16 different marks just to take out 1
@@whoislangtvbecause he’s perceiving that 1 mark to be the one who caused the machine to blow up, he can easily send the other marks away to a dimension where they will die, but the 1 mark would be much more difficult to trick plus it’s personal revenge at that point
@@whoislangtv personal vendetta against the Mark we follow, plus he knows how expendable the other Marks are and how easily he can be rid of them.
I was actually hoping Angstrom succeeded, he had a true heroic goal
im tired of multiverse, tbh only omni man can save the show now
But this show wasnt trying to piggyback..it was truly poor timing...
@@billzzdimzz2990at least this show has some interesting aspects of Angstrom’s powers, like an inability to travel through space, just dimensions
@@billzzdimzz2990this story is not about multiverse relax. Armstrong Levy only using his power to destroy Mark, nothing else
Heroic but naive
Angstrom was never evil, his mind corrupted with so many his variant memory specialy bad memory about Mark and omni-man
His corrupted mind is made him a villain
He was literally threatening a kid he'd never seen before cuz it was in a house
Im glad they opened the first episode of this season in a pretty much post apocalyptic version of the universe we've been following, I feel it makes it a lot easier to accept this dude's motives, especially since in most universes Mark joined his father and helped him conquer earth, like idk I feel like that just works a lot better in convincing us that Angstrom isn't just a guy who's mad at Invincible for no good reason like in the comics
it would have been a strong opening if that first scene was the scene from the last episode of the season, instead it was multiverse again man we are tired of this "multiverse" c*ap.
What? That opening scene was in the comics too. The whole episode staying true to the original material. I believe they only added that emotional line when Armstrong get the memories of all his versions and start crying
@@billzzdimzz2990the comics are 20 years old lmao
What part of Angstrom EVER thought that taking the collective intelligence of his clones would be a good idea? That always meant taking their trauma too. Can't have knowledge without memories. Outcome would have been the same, but without the freak brain
but he would know which memories are actually his rn his brain is scattered with prolly thousands of different memories he all thinks he went through
The Mauler twins specifically stated that the process will ensure Angstrom will be able to differentiate his own memories from those of his alternate versions. The reason it DIDN’T turn out that way is because he stopped the process mid-way.
But that’s the thing, the Mauler twins told him they made it so that he can differentiate his doppelgängers memories and his own so that he doesn’t go psychotic but because the process stopped midway, he did go psychotic.
I like how this dude was basically a pacifist kang that lost his way, because of mark

One of the reasons why angstrom levy wants to take revenge on invincible is because his memory got mixed up with other angstrom levy from other universes. The majority of invincibles from other universe are evil so that's why he can't avoid the emotions from other angstrom levys.
If Angestrum. Had just gone to Cecil. This story would work. He couldve literatlly had his support since Cecil woudve been happy to see the way Omni man was defeated in other universes so he can then replicate the tech. Would it have taken a bit longer yes. Would it have been difficult to convince Cecil probably. But if he had gone about it the right way it could have worked. Also why didnt he just download the othet Angstrums memories into a "living computure, then make it so a helmet would filter the knowledge of all these different Angstrums into the prime ones mind and he would only see the things he needed without the massive toll of memories and emotions.
You forgot that part when maulers explain him how the machine works. Everything would be okay if he himself didn’t stop in the middle of process
@@knightcommander5694b- b- but his utopia can't be made from violence 😢
@@knightcommander5694 No I get that, but why not find a universe where the tech to do that instead exists?
Exactly. These type of shows are full of deus ex machina and ridiculous plot armour, but they ends to be popular when action and voice acting carries the shit out of it.
Great argument, Looks like those multiverse experience doesn’t give him thought about telling cecil. Classic mistakes 😂
Honestly Angstrom is kind of like the anti Kang, being one was a ruthless time traveling warlord that came to the past with the exclusive goal of taking everything over, and the other being a benevolent citizen, fucked over by circumstances and driven to insanity because of it.
Essentially, one was trying to do good and had everything go fucked up for them (Angstrom) , and the other was always powerful, but then when delving farther into their powers got EVEN MORE powerful (kang)
He is not a "benevolent citizen". Angstrom is clearly shown to have a God complex. If he succeded he would probably become a multidimentional dictator since he is not shown to by a type of guy who could lead people peacefully but a type of guy that would switch to force the moment he realises people wont listen to him willingly
Wdym? What are you talking about?
honestly that scene in which machine exploded was so stupid. if only angstrom would use a little different words while talking to invincible and tell twins to not fight the outcome would be 100x better. Also better idea would be to notify gov about his goal so that they wouldnt try to stop him.
Any universe could say no.
He literally told to maulers to stop and they didn’t
He did tell all twins to not kill Mark, only to pin him so he doesn't stop the process.
All the twins choose killing Mark was the best way to stop him given the opportunity of having the upper hand in the fight. It's why Levy took off his helmet.
bro could’ve just teleported invincible away
Exactly! I don't understand why he didn't do that
I think he couldnt use his powers in the chair which is why he took the helmet off to try and help.
@@gamingvermin7014 but he used it to bring in the other Mauler twins to stop Invincible
@@Peterbeater1smh exactly dude opened like 6 portals
Yeah he could have or he could have just explained the situation to Mark better emphasising that he literally could not stop this as it would create a huge ass explosion. Though I guess it needed to happen for plot purposes lol.
Literally all they had to do was say that stopping the machine would kill all the Angstroms, no way would guilty Mark have done anything then.
Angstroms whole plan is bonkers though and doomed to fail from the start. The Maulers were right when they told him to just have conversations with his counterparts.
I like how unlike with other villains who turn evil against the hero for stupid reasons. Angstroms case makes a lot more sense with his memories being all jumbled up.
He was just like that before the show tho
That sounds a hell of a lot like XChara's original plan in Underverse. "Just one world, from the best of the others"
Wow, Invincible make Starlord look like a genius
Angrstrom shouldve just teleported Mark to another universe until he was done syphoning his others minds instead of teleporting more mauler twins😅
Yeah but Mark can fly off planet meaning the one good mark would be lost in another universe and levy can't portal within same universe to find him
it would have been a strong opening if that first scene was the scene from the last episode of the season, instead it was multiverse again man we are tired of this "multiverse" c*ap.
@@billzzdimzz2990it’s not about multiverse. And this story was written in comics like 15-20 years ago
Dude's design is straight up a reference to that Hulk villain.
What? Leader?
It looks like they fixed Amber she’s much more likeable and supportive now but will see how season 2 turns out
They’ll probably break up by the end of the season hopefully
@@miguelcuriel1987he most likely will. He ends up with atom eve in the comics and everything seems to be playing out nearly the same
She was never an issue. Invincible fans are low IQ. Mark was a horrific boyfriend in any measurement. She wasn't dealing with his. Bullshit anymore and yall can't comprehend that
Mark and Eve are gonna be The Endgame. Period.
Let's hope they go back to the original story of the comic which is A LOT better than this, where Mark and Eve end up together. Amber is a shit addition to the show. Seriously, why'd they change that?
This was completely angstroms fault. He recruited the Mauler twins. A bit of a chat or conversation could have fixed everything. For all Invincible knew, it could have exploded, or it could have made a powerful supervillain.
Same for Invincible, he had the exact same sort of conversation Mauler Twins later in the comic book, where he didn't understand they were being helpful once their projects had the funding.

Well, the path to hell is paved with good intentions
Rather than bringing multiple villians to stop invincible, he should've teleported invincible to somewhere else.

He became Yakub
i get it
He's about to create white people 🫢🤯

When you try to stop a non evil man from doing something you don’t know, and he bows vengeance, and is very petty and incapable of seeing logic.

He's like the Joker to his Superman
A lot of explanation and build up for a character that will have that brain one punched out within three episodes from now.
Well i hope so, i cant stand this multiverse bs
that’s not even how he dies lmao
Amstrong Levy is basically the perfect mix of Kang The Conqueror + The Leader and a bit of Baxter Stockman (before turning into the Stockmanfly)
Uuuh Levy didn’t just get a “big brain”. After the machine blew in this universe and the other universes were set up. (Because EVERY Levy in the multiverse was connected to these machines in multiple universes. They needed the room.) After every machine blew, only one remained. With all the memories and knowledge of EVERY Levy in multiverse. He didn’t know which universe was his home. But he did know that it was Mark’s fault he is the way he is now
I haven’t watched the episode yet but from the clip it seems like they left a good bit out from the comic. And it’s going by very fast
Tbh Invincible should've definitely asked what was going on instead of just punching everything that moves and hoping for the best
Original Levy’s sheer amount of hatred for invincible is what made the resulting Levy evil. His thoughts overpowered all the other variants’ thoughts which is why they show that split second scene of original Levy glaring at mark when he shows up.
Ratchet and clank vibes
Ripping parts from worlds and making 1
The planets harvested in the process then become unstable and either blow up or spiral into the star
He not only killed all the maulers in that blast, but thousands of Angestroms
I love how the maulers now know who’s the real twin
I personally feel this is a major plot dip in terms of typical invincible story. As this character who was determined to end all pain and suffering… builds his machine in a terrible location. Does not explain to mark or even attempt to… and then sacrifices himself for mark and then blames mark for him ending up a freak… but he did it to himself…
Idk maybe some people know why this and that but to me it feels like a low compared to the rest of the plot line in my opinion
cause all the memories of the hundreds of Levy’s are mixed together where majority of them have evil Invincibles in their world. so the memories all being mixed together is creating the misconception that Invincible harmed him, which isn’t true and he eventually learns that
I just realized other angstroms were killed in the comic book version when the machine blew up
The Mauler twins are (is) some of the absolute BEST characters/adversaries ever created in comics. Their constant (and pointless) battle to determine who is the original and who is the clone is just EPIC!!!
I love how we have the comics full finished story but all the videos of the series act like if we know nothing XD
This was an avoidable event
On many occations
Rick "Angstrøm Prime" Sanchez traveling the multiverse with the strange, green portals and a massive brain
A subtle way to let people know the affects of bias and prejudice.
He'll have a change of heart once he realizes he's turned into the very thing he hated. This dudes arc is horrifically tragic.
When I watched this I had no idea 💀 I thought it was some random guy
I like how to angstrom we saw is the mind that became dominant in the end
I refuse to pronounce his last name it Leave-E.
They really had to go with LEEVEE instead of lev-ee
Not being smart enough to know that The Mauler twins arent good people is just- wow
That's the thing, i media intelligence comes mainly 2 forms. 1.Static knowledge which is know a lot about stuff like science, tech and medicine, thing you can measure. 2. And emotional intelligence or empathy, understanding yourself, the ppl around you, the situation, what the other person think, feels, wants how they'll move, etc.
Most tv shows geniuses are a master of static knowledge but lack fundamental understandings of emotional intelligence or empathy. He wouldn't know those twins are bad guys, it's just not how he was built😅
I think he’s aware.
So, Angstrom, a genius whose good intentions to unite with the multi-verse versions of himself to protect humanity, but became a tyrant, seems like a take on Richard Reed, Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic Four, and his Council of Reeds.
Showing how consequentialism - how the ends supposedly "... justify the means..." leads to tyranny, which many of these characters are guilty of - is a common theme throughout the INVINCIBLE story.
Mark just keeps fucking up , it’s so hard to root for him .😂
I loved that he’s a villain I’m going to love his villain arc 😂
Bro you gonna cover this season of Invincible?
Absolutely
@@VocalPineapple well thanks for your content
Mark was just getting his ass kicked? Angstrom did that to himself, but I'd say the maulers were most probably to blame
I didn’t understand that he didn’t want Mark killed, but he was mad that Mark interrupted the process
Angstrom ends up looking like the meme of the dude sitting on his own brain x'D
I hope they go a certain route with him where he regains his memories after all the horrible stuff he does but still has sinister intentions after being completely broken and disgusted by his own actions, essentially being like “instead of a savior I am now a killer. I can never right my wrongs, let alone be any world’s savior. If I can’t help the multiverse, I will make it bleed”
that’s not what happens in the comics

Who’s to say, if his game plan did come to fruition, would he have been able to actually increase his knowledge or die trying? He had this grandiose idea and from my watching, he seemed like a way to optimistic thinker that he didn’t even take into account the drawback of attaining so much knowledge. He’d probably end up suffering another way with all that crammed inside one head.
Its a great villain origin. You feel bad for him and understand his hatred for invincible
invincible did nothing, he himself stopped it killed everyone and then lost his mind
He is literally victor timely
Finally introducing Yakub into the show
Levy’s plan was to make an XEvent of his own lmao
“One universe, With the Best of others”
Yep I’m not surprised this happened by Invincible’s stupidity. In the episode all Mark had to do was sit tight and chill after the thing with his dad but he just HAD to get back out there and he created his arch nemesis
Did anyvody see at the end when the invincible outro gets fully covered in blood not only that but it chips away slightly
When the Mauler twins (actually in this context just a mauler) tells you you’re fucked, aren’t thinking straight, and most importantly need a hospital, it’s probably pretty bad
If there are infinite universes he could've just gotten a couple of good mauler twins.
I don’t get how he wanted revenge on Invincible when HE was the one to stop the machine 💀
Great Value Kang & multiverse. Im here waiting for My Hero Academia to introduce evil Deku from another universe at this point. YEESH
Everything coulda been soo different if Mark wasn’t soo quick to action
Really starting off with a massive tragedy
Honestly he did it to himself, but you can’t exactly do revenge on yourself so he lashed out at Mark.
My last name really getting out there💀
Angstrom is the true hero of the invincible universe
No 👎
as soon as i saw him i yelled " that mf got brainlocks"
Can't blame Mark, he was doing his job. Plus what was he supposed to think after seeing the Mauler twins
So I had someone tell me the Angstrum that lived, was one that had it out for Mark… and I don’t believe that’s right.
If we recall, Angstrum Prime was the only version with his portal power (a paradox but not the focus)- we see Angstrum use the portals when he takes revenge on Mark, implying that’s the Angstrum Prime. My belief is that, in the explosion, SOMETHING screwed up, Angstrum Prime lost his own memories in the sea of other memories, and all that remained was all the hatred that the other multiverse Angstrum’s had toward Mark; thus granting the hatred and Justice actions, the portal power, and the motivation.
Turned into Yakob lol
He literally did this shit to himself. The maulers had Mark handled. He mutilated himself because he removed the helmet midway after he was warned "Once we start you cant stop"
For a dude who didnt want violence he literally killed all his alter selves and maulers.
ANGSTROM = KANG
And I love it.
So he’s an analog to DC’s Brainiac.
Sucks we gotta wait till January for episode 5
Armstrong looks like leader
...and iv been waiting 6 days and 20 some fuckin hours to find out what happens next 😭
Invincible creating his enemies due to his stupidity... XP
Better story than Kang from ant man 3
Angstrom Leavee
This character is based on the Yakub mythology.
Levy could have just gone to Cecil and explained his plan and most of this could’ve been avoided
I don't think Levy would have turned out any differently had Mark let the procedure continue and play out normally. Only thing that might have changed was a normal looking head and not an extended brain.
The masker twins specifically stated that they implemented a measure that would allow Angstrom to have the memories of his counterparts and still be able to differentiate himself from the others. It's like this.if successful, all memories would be neatly filed and documented in a massive file cabinet, with his own in it's own special area by itself.
But thanks to Mark, all files including Angstrom's own are thrown into a massive container with no way to tell what is what
@@NameHere2856 But when the Masker twin accuses of not being able to differentiate between his memories or the others, Angstrom shuts him down and says "They are all my memories". That leads me to believe that he's still himself, he just didn't grasp the emotional impact those painful memories would've had on him.
Bro tried to become Rick Sanchez
He got brains for dreads
Mallers from alternate universes*.
Idk why he hates good Mark when there are other bad marks to beat
He did it to himself and falls into the stereotypical supervillain trap of blaming the superhero instead of themselves
I wouldn't say greatest nemesis but eh, his potential is high
They made Yakub into a comicbook character?
