The killer specifically mentioned slaughtering blonde sorority girls...I think there is an entire genre of torture/gore/slaughter/murder/horror movies that glorify and sensationalize the very thing the killer mentioned.
These actors can't sit there and say Hollywood is all about feeling good and happiness and learning. Its about money.
Im not saying slaughter movies are responsible for any specific murder but Im sure a few murderers have watched their fair share of slasher movies that had some level of influence on them for sure. Should directors and producers and actors of horror movies feel responsible for real life murders? Absolutely not.
It's called "Power of Suggestion" and it is totally accepted scientific fact. But, you will always get nutters, impressionable people, sickos and psychopaths in society so making societies safer is the only really effective way to actually make societies safer. Guns really do not make a society safer, the numbers lie but they still paint a really bad picture. It's about guns and murder-culture, everyone knows it is.
Hollywood is never to blame for anything. /s
