Shiraz Quran Gate Iran(2024): دروازه قرآن شیراز، ورودی زیبای شیراز

Walk with me in the beautiful gate of the city of Shiraz, which is the gate of the Qur'an.
Shiraz used to have 6 gates. Currently, there is no gate in Shiraz except the Qur'an Gate, but the people of Shiraz still point to the location of the old gates.
The Quran Gate was one of those 6 gates.
Qur'an gate is located in the north of Shiraz city in Tang Allah Akbar between Mount Forty and Mount Babakohi and it is actually located at the exit of Shiraz towards the ring road and Maroodasht road. This gate was built by the order of Azad Dole Dilmi.
Its name is due to the Koran, which was placed in it by the order of the emir so that travelers could pass under it safely.
The Quran Gate is located less than ten meters from the tomb of Khajovi Kermani, less than five hundred meters from Jahannama Garden, and less than a thousand meters from the tomb of the famous Persian poet Hafez Shirazi.
