When best two seams was posted I thought of Carlos Zambrano, Fausto Carmona(his name when he was good), Derek Lowe, and that pitcher for the Dbacks a few years ago named Webb.
@@nomad-81-25 it's when a pitch breaks to hit the outside edge of the plate (like the two seam fastballs that break sharply to hit the outside corner against a right handed hitter).
The thing all these pitchers have in common it's not arm speed. It's not crazy rpm. It's not magic. It's awareness. When you throw the fastball, is more important than how you throw the fastball.
Ryan Simasek sinker is the same exact pitch its just some pitchers get more downward movement then sideways movement because of there arm angle they both serve the same purpose
I'm a lefty in Little league, and a guy pitched to me, he was a righty, it looked like it was going to hit me. It didn't . It went right into the catchers glove for a strike.
So what is the difference between a sinker and a two seamer? It seems like some analysts and commentators use them interchangeably. For example, I know Stroman induces a lot of groundballs, but some people say he does it with a sinker and a two seamer. So which is it?
calling it 'two seam' is totally wrong - know the actual air-flow dynamics; it's a 4 seam grip, starting from from 2 o'clock (high) and released at 9 o'clock (right handed only). doing so gives the sinking action plus movement back toward the plate. no one bothers to listen to the details. so, here's another: a fork ball drops due to gravity, not spin.
Lesson learned: bartolo is a two seam master. Ya know, besides being the best hitter in history. 🐐
Maddux is
And Trevor Cahill!
Reminds me of Brandon Webb back in the day backdooring 90 mph two seamers, made hitters look silly
Where is Rick Porcello in this video?
Why no pne talking ab how this is the made the cut????
Colon's 2 seamer moves like 5 feet... Insane.
Colon and Maddux are the best 2 seam throwers ever. Imagine buckling a lefty in the box as a right handed pitcher….insane.
This is basically a Bartolo highlight reel and I fucking love it
I always threw a two seam Fastball, was pretty successful, 11-2 in High School, 14 strikeouts in one game 5 shutouts
2:00 lmao the umpire threw him out after the game ended 😂😂😂
1:58 That man got ejected.
TechCaptain brutal strike call there
Alex Weaver Yeah after further review I realize the game was ending
That was last pitch of the game
That man was Nick Punto in his final season. 19 career HRs :)
コロンとマダックスと黒田が30〜40%占めてるな
Became a baseball fan till I started watching sporting videos 👍👍👍 anyways has the best highlights
Do fastest pitches in history
When best two seams was posted I thought of Carlos Zambrano, Fausto Carmona(his name when he was good), Derek Lowe, and that pitcher for the Dbacks a few years ago named Webb.
A big beautiful curveball is great and all but that arm side run of the 2 seam is just so pretty and otherworldly when it’s got some heat behind it.
You could make the whole video colon’s nasty 2 seamers! Brutal
Lots of shuuto-2 seamer combinations! Using 2 seam grip and putting lots of pressure on the index finger! Great!
This is so awesome to watch
6/3/18 - Dylan Covey's 3rd strike on Domingo Santana to end the 1st inning.. Hard to find a sicker two-seamer than that one.
1:58 the umpire can use the force
Request for funniest baseball fails!
Pedro Martinez, Jose Alvarado, Corey Kluber, Trevor Bauer, and Diego Castillo should have been on here
@Bread And Circuses why you replying 2 years later lmao, they all have good 2 seam fastballs worth of featuring
If You Haven't Done It, Do Worst Trade Deals
Great Video. How about a part.II with some Chien-Ming Wang in it lol
You should do players throwing unorthodox pitches (knuckleballs, forkballs, screwballs, etc.)
Tanaka, Cueto, and of course, BARTOLO🐐🐐 are masters at these.
Nasty side-arm pitchers. Love me some side-arm action.
My personal favorite pitch. Righty vs righty... Nothing like it
Alexander G Russo it's all about that righty vs lefty front door 2-seamer looking
Front door righty v lefty
Check out Brandon Webb videos, 90 mph two seamers on the outside edge, that pitch had a good 12 inches of arm side fade
What does front door mean?
@@nomad-81-25 it's when a pitch breaks to hit the outside edge of the plate (like the two seam fastballs that break sharply to hit the outside corner against a right handed hitter).
awesome stuff here
Do one of homeruns from both sides of the plate from the same hitter
few guys have mastered the 2 seamer on the inside to lefties. colon, cueto and maddux are names that immediately come to mind.
Do the best pitchers vs. best hitters
Do one featuring "fastest" curveballs, changeups etc.
Best slurves
The thing all these pitchers have in common it's not arm speed. It's not crazy rpm. It's not magic. It's awareness. When you throw the fastball, is more important than how you throw the fastball.
You made a two-seam video and didn't include Corey Kluber
He has a sinker. Similar, but not the same.
Ryan Simasek sinker is the same exact pitch its just some pitchers get more downward movement then sideways movement because of there arm angle they both serve the same purpose
Og2tone 9o no it’s a different pitch lol.
Scott Bennici kinda the same but it moves down more ig
Or Rick Porcello.
Nice video
two seamer vs slider
which one is more nasty?
3:09 metal glove ? 💀
I'm a lefty in Little league, and a guy pitched to me, he was a righty, it looked like it was going to hit me. It didn't . It went right into the catchers glove for a strike.
Can u please do diving into the stands
do pichers that have the best cutters
Never knew that a two seam fastball had that much movement to the side
Imagine a 2 seam with a sinker 💀💀💀
Thems some nasty pitches
So what is the difference between a sinker and a two seamer? It seems like some analysts and commentators use them interchangeably. For example, I know Stroman induces a lot of groundballs, but some people say he does it with a sinker and a two seamer. So which is it?
A sinker has a bit more of a vertical drop, whereas a 2-seamer has more horizontal break.
Those big breakers are Beautiful to watch.
Do left handed hitters going the opposite way (P.S.: Good job on the videos)
Also you could do a strike em out throw em out if you haven’t already done that like if you agree
Charlie Morton’s nasty movement on that two seam
Man the pitch for me is a forkball Omg 😍 those things are a site to see
Do pitchers pitching more than 9 innings (roy halladay comes to mind)
Maybe do a video on the oldest players versus youngest players?
Bartolo Colon throws his 2Seam Fastball consistently and in the same location... everyone #Strikes Out 😎
WAS THE THROW TO SECOND GOOD??
Best slides
Do a video of pitchers throwing first career strike outs
Most Killing Change Ups
So what's the difference between a two seam and a screwball? Is it the same thing?
So Bartolo Cueto and Tanaka compilation?
Do best knuckle balls
Do scoring in the top of the ninth walk off in the bottom
Do best catcher plays please my dude
You could do longest games if you haven't done that
Do walk off homeruns ( Astros please!)
Do best sliders plz
Do nastiest pitches
Do Ken Griffey Jr. best swings
Is Colon good? Even being so big?
Do great catches by fans
01:58 What a performance😂
When the two seam runs off your middle finger you know is gonna tail back over the plate
I never remembered Colon as being that guy …haha…nice!
Do "rising" 4-seam fastballs.
looked like a few cutters in there
Big Sexy is clearly the 2-seam master, but damn that one by Cueto at 1:13 turned me on. Shit, did you see how sharp and quick that break was?
in the early 2000's he (Bartolo)was throwing that thing at 93
do mega overswings
jerome williams yeah , I just mean over swings
I cant believe you left out Corey Kluber!
Do when batters swing out of their shoes
Title should be "Bartolo Colon two-seam fastball strikeouts"
A lot of Colon's, Cahill's and Stroman's.
You could have made this just a video of Greg Maddux, edit: haha
Bryan Morris my 2nd favorite picter of all time next to tom glavine
Should of named it, “Bartolo’s Bad Ass 2-Seamer”
When batters thought they got a walk but they got struck out
The 2-seam fastball should be re-named "The Maddux."
I think many of them are sinker
Best called looking strikeouts
2 seamer is a game changer
Do nasty cut fastballs
Why no Wang?
Did I look away for a couple seconds and miss it, or is there really no Arrieta in here?
2:00 the old letter high strike
You should do check swing hits or opposite field home runs
You think you got enough Bartola Colon?
Do best sliders pitched like if you agree
My favorite COLON!
Cueto
Some were circle change ups
I appreciate the usage of Big Sexy Colon
do a video of the longest batters' superstition routines.
Do closers trowing 3+ innings
Miguel Agames not really a thing
Wes Littleton
I think you messed up,it’s just a bartolo colon highlight

1:21 O.M.G
I feel like there should have been more Maddux on here.
Batters getting hits/home runs off good 2 seam pitches
