Mystique is honestly one of the most intriguing characters in the books. Such amazing character development. Particularly in the context of her relationship with Destiny. But yes, her familial ties are also extremely fascinating.

@godzillagaming4911sorry to butt in and answer a question that wasn't aimed at me however, I LOVED how Rebecca portrayed Mystique as sultry yet extremely manipulative and dangerous as hell. Her flexible moves and using her feet to snap necks and stuff was more grounded to her original character than JL's soft and sensitive turn as the character. Whenever she (Rebecca) was in any of the original movies it made you question everyone's authenticity due to her presence and the possibility that they could be her. Espionage, assassinations, infiltration, elusive etc. Are all traits that they dropped the ball with when JL took over the role. I was so bummed when she got hit with the Mutant cure and left behind because that meant she wouldn't be in any more movies (I thought at the time) and I believe that's the last we saw of Rebecca's portrayal isn't it?

Which, considering Raven had been with Irene and the fact her name is based on the book “the Feminine Mystique”, feels really weird.

I have a few qualms with this list. The main one that did me in was when the narrator said mutants were being enslaved by their own kind in Genosha. No, they were enslaved by regular humans. I know this is a fictional universe, but saying they were enslaved by their own kind butchers the meaning of the story.
There were a few other things that could have been researched better. Like, go the the marvel Fandom and just read a bit. You don't need to have the whole X backlog, just put in some effort.
Also, the whole Team X stuff they said was CIA run but the weapon x program was Department H which is the Canada in the marvel universe.
