    Great video Tony. Late to this party but I haven’t had internet for a while out here. Starlink is the key to now listening to your lives! 👍🏼

    This guy retails at $22500 up here in Canada but it's still better than a twenty year old used (unknown) tractor. I need to pull the trigger on one soon.

    My TYM 234 HST has 750 hours on it. I've had the front loader arms crack off twice. I added steel and bracing to the tractor and so far, so good. The backhoe separated from the tractor the first hour of use, and then I welded up a new bracket to attack it to the rear center pin. Now it stays on. During use, 3 of the bearing posts of the backhoe failed and I welded them back on with additional metal, which has worked well so far. The rear upper attachment of the backhoe to the transmission then broke into little pieces, I had to weld up a beefer bracket. At 700 hours, the main frame cracked and the tractor about folded in half, and cracked the plastic seat surround (the body as in were that in most tractors is steel) was destroyed. Total parts are $2500 to restore it to service. I did all the work. took me about 50 yours total to disassemble and reassemble the unit. I am done with TYM products. This machine could have killed me more than a few times, I feel lucky. I am going to unload this thing as soon as I can find a buyer.

      Man I had almost all the same problems as you did with my TYM T264 in less than ONE MONTHS time of ownership. My backhoe also separated completely from its mounting onto the frame, upon ITS FIRST USE (digging into soft sand as a test btw!) after about 15 minutes of use it departed the tractor... I could not believe it. I was shocked when it happened and thought it must just be bad luck or a fluke so I was really surprised to read your story of the same thing happening. TYM should be ashamed, I contacted corporate about my experience but don't expect to hear back .THEN about 20 hours of use later I find both arms on the loader cracked almost completely through on both sides, both sides cracked near where the actuator bracket is welded. The dealer didn't believe me even after sending pictures, they actually sent a guy to my house to verify as they thought I was just seeing cracks in the paint... well they where wrong! Keep in mind, when I used this bucket I never had a load heavier than 500lbs placed inside it and I had only used to dig some topsoil one single time. So no stresses where introduced that it should not have been able to handle... almost all of the 20 hours was just using the box on the rear that I put on after the backhoe departed... On top of all that it was already starting to fade heavily from being outdoors and the black plastics all turned a shade of white after about two weeks.
      I wanted to love the TYM, for the price it seemed like you got a lot, however I quickly found out there was a reason for the cheap price, you're trading money to gamble with quality assurance. I say that because I've read of many owners having many hours on their TYM products and never having anything really go wrong with them. Then you see others like myself and your experience that out the gate they are literal lemons. Because of this I was able to get the dealer to buy my loan back and return the tractor.
      I ended up getting a good deal on a 2022 Kubota L2501 4WD DT. It doesn't have a backhoe but after my first experience I could care less.

      @@eviljesus5411Dude, NOT fake. Not everyone has the same experience and equipment fails, even new ones. I have a t264 and have had awful issues from 20 hours FWD, and it’s been a horrible time getting help and TYM doing anything for me. I’m at 250 hours on my 2020 because it’s been down for most of the time I have had it!!!!!!! * months and electrical issues it wouldn’t start. Manuals translated from Korean aren’t good either. I was an aircraft mechanic so dont come saying it’s operator error. Parts dont match in catalogue either. even TYM has had issues sending me the wrong parts as they are incorrect in the manuals.

    If you ever try to do some real plowing you will appreciate the independent brakes. You almost have to have them to plow a straight furrow. The plow will try to turn the tractor to the right. You need left brake to effectively turn it back left. Steering usually isn't enough.

    I own a T264 brand new since 4 months. I got it for snow removal only. I ordered this tractor with a cab. TYM cannot supply many buyers with cabs evoking shortages. They dont even reply to multiple emails. Local dealer hides himself under his desk, he's bombarded by this issue. I can imagine the waiting time for replacement parts, months or years...........????

    My new TYM T264 tractor has been sitting at the dealership for over 6 weeks with numerous problems. It was purchased over 3 months ago and it only worked for about 3 hours. Dealership has been unable to fix but did offer to buy from me for under half of what I paid for it. Don't get scammed by TYM.

    • @Suthn_Girl
      @Suthn_Girl Před 8 dny

      Dang, sorry to hear that!! I too have had a few issues. FOr one at 20 hours, got on it one morning and it simply wouldn’t start. Everything checked out, battery, etc. (price aircraft mechanic so I’m not an idiot, lol) It was some sensor and this 264 has 35, TYM said to bring it in for them to check. I’m 8 hours to a dealer as I live remote, in the desert so not an easy task. I have the repair manual and a local mechanic and I tried to isolate all the wiring/sensors. Ended up just direct wiring starter switch/starter to battery. Has never had an issue with cranking after our bush fix.
      TYM has been hard to deal with , find parts, someone wanting to take the time to help, but Tony has been super awesome and I very much appreciate Him! I wouldn’t buy another TYM after my experiences tho.

    I'm looking for a first tractor for about 15 acres, mostly woods. Need primarily for brush hogging a couple acres and processing about 10 cords of firewood a year. Is this going to be pretty well suited to the task?

    • @jonaozo540
      @jonaozo540 Před 3 lety +2

      This size will work but.....I would step up a size (or two) like a 35HP or more.
      You will DEFINITELY want a grapple for the front, so make sure you get the 3rd function for the front.
      10 cords/year......you will use the grapple all the time, and love it. Best tool assistant I have ever used for cutting firewood,
      plus you will use it to clear out limbs....before and after felling the tree.
      The extra HP will allow a longer life/less wear and tear on the equipment brush hogging plus give you more lift capability.
      Greater weight lift and height....especially when dumping in a trailer or truck. Don't forget your weight hanger bar for the rear,
      and get enough weights to fill it....40lb , 70lb, or mixed.
