Madden 2005 Franchise mode gameplay. Season 1 week 8 Raiders vs Chargers. The Broncos won, so if the Raiders lose to the Chargers the Broncos will be in first place in the AFC west
Madden 04 and 05 to this day are the best Maddens and was ahead of its time. I remember when I bought them and thought imagine how Madden would be in the future. Today I just reminisce how good Madden used to be.
So true. I bought a huge bundle off of eBay couple years ago from Madden 02-09 and I loved the PS2 Madden games as a little kid. I’d much rather play 05 than 24.
@@justinpierce2819 that’s awesome, Madden 2001 will always have a special place in my heart but 04 and 05 will be my favorites. I was bummed that I couldn’t play more than 30 seasons or so on franchise mode because it reset on me but I been playing 07 over 40+ seasons and I still haven’t experienced any reset yet which is why I keep playing it today!
I always comment this, but : Madden 2004 through 2008 are just CLASSIC Madden games. The heyday. I remember when 2005 came out how much I loved that game. I'm thinking of repurchasing Madden 2005 bc of that damn Coach LOL
In recent games, he's gotten Fargas going really good. I hope he resigns Zack Crockett at FB moving forward. Usually, FBs stick around for a bit and keep their attributes up for the most part.
@@bdawg2690 2006 Madden for me was the best ever because it introduced the Cone QB Vision. I wanna say McNabb was on that cover. The game was so polished up until maybe 2008 for ps2/Xbox era. The 360/ps3 maddens were 🤮 It was like every madden from 2002 to 2006 was amazing and got better with each new version. New elements like 05 bringing in the hit stick or Vicks Madden adding the sprint to the Scramble. Defensive assignments got really nice with playmaker for 2005 Ray Lewis. It was really a chess match. If you don’t like the vision than 2005 could be considered peak Madden. The Hit Sticks first year. But the 2006 Madden will always be my favorite because they gave the offense an optional tool (Qb vision) to look off user players like an actual QB would.
@@bdawg269007 is probably the best ever, it is very similar to 05 and 06 but they just made the game slightly better IMO, they polished it around the edges. With that being said you can’t go wrong with any of them between 05-07

Tim Brown and Rich Gannon TURNIN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME!! DAWKIN'S DIME
Could Zach Crockett move to RB1? Maybe Wheatley at fullback?
He might still have Hambrick as a decent option too over Wheatley.

The greatest era of Madden IMO. Todays Madden has such an input delay on the menus that I can’t stand it 😂
Which ps2 maddens do you recommend? I have 07 but seems like this one plays well too

Doug Flutie may have given the Bolts a better chance in this one.
The Chargers got outchargered by Oakland.
