  • As we conclude our A Week of Hope series, join us in exploring the critical role Legacy plays in delivering happiness and hope to wish families.
36 years ago, Holocaust survivor Henri Landwirth turned personal tragedy into a lifelong mission to prevent children from missing out on childhood as he had - creating a whimsical, magical Village that has welcomed more than 177,000 critically ill children and their families from around the world since 1986. Henri’s love for children and passion for enriching the lives of others are imprinted on the hearts of every family who has visited.
It's in the smiles of children as they eat ice cream for breakfast; the peels of laughter as families splash in the Park of Dreams pool; the feeling of inclusiveness as parents place their wheelchair-bound children on Kelly’s Sunny Swing for their first-ever amusement park rides; and the singular camaraderie shared by wish families as they realize that they are not alone.
As we celebrate the life and legacy of Henri Landwirth on Founder’s Day, please help us continue delivering happiness and hope to critically ill children and their families by making a tax-deductible donation in any amount. give.gktw.org/weekofhope
