I know this is going to sound mean… but I live in Japan, and no one appreciates those hats except children. They're not even funny in an ironic way. And it's doubly annoying you wear them because of the Logan Paul incident where he is broadcasted now as an idiot gaijin wearing pokemon hats and costumes and acting like a buffoon. And I can tell it has to be at least a little embarrassing for you guys. So I just wanted to say: no one appreciates those hats even if they're supposed to be ironic humor. Like, I know you guys are cool and all, but who is your target audience when you dress like that in a country where people scowl at you if you're a grown man and aren't wearing a suit? Don't you think it's at least a little dishonest to make people outside of Japan think they could dress like that in Japan, just to find that no one would take them seriously or even scoff at them?
In any case, sorry if this sounds aggressive, but I am trying to understand what you guys are doing and why you seem to be lacking human mental faculties like embarrassment and cultural/situational awareness.
