    Cleaning your house is not to be done on Sabbath, whether pushing the vacuum around or running the robovac

    • @SuperMichelleDJ
      @SuperMichelleDJ Před 6 měsíci

      That is legalistic. Housecleaning is not work. The house needs to be cleaned often, sometimes every day.

      That's why you have preparation day, I know sometimes with young kids thing may get messy but even in that we need to teach the children the importance of the hour their in.

      @@SuperMichelleDJwhy is everything noone wants to hear and agree with called legalistic? If my dog tracks in a mess on my carpet, I will clean it up even on Sabbath so it is not all over the living room. That is not wrong. But to schedule to vacuum the whole carpet on the Sabbath is a chore or work and violates the Sabbath. That is not legalism it is truth. Hope this helps. God bless.

      The dishwasher may run, the lights may turn on/off & vacuums may complete their design UNLESS it becomes a stumbling block to others.

      It is the intention that matters. Machines do not operate without man's input, and if you set your machines to do any work on the Sabbath, it is wrong, especially if it could have been done prior to the Sabbath.

    I think Ryan is partially wrong about the robot. I agree it isn’t an inherently sinful thing but, we get in to the realm of our machines “doing work” vs us. You’re not the one washing the dishes because its the dishwasher is, youre not the one washing the clothes because its the washing machine, youre not the one vacuuming the house because its the robot. True, these things are just tools but, you are still wielding the tool in some capacity. You are the one who decided to worry yourself with these things on the sabbath instead of saving it for the day before to prepare or the day after. If it’s pressing then it makes sense. For instance you need to wash the bottle for the baby or there is feces on the floor from dog or there is vomit on the blanket from overnight flu. That makes as much sense as disciples picking corn to eat. But dont save things for sabbath that can be done the day before or after and that are a distraction from the time you’re supposed to spend with God. That might mean adjusting your schedule in the week to fit in just like you had to when you started having devotional time and God can help you make it work.
    Most sabbaths you dont need those dishes, those clothes, or that spot on the floor cleaned so pressingly that it cant wait until after or be done the day before.
    -peace

      I'm very much on the same page as you are.
      While it's not inherently sinful to allow a scheduled machine to run without effort on our part - in this case a robot vacuum cleaner, it is nevertheless a machine that is under our command. In a similar, possible future example, I wouldn't let an AI driven tractor plow a field. I would schedule these machines so their work didn't happen on the Sabbath, and by doing that, the Sabbath becomes a more complete rest from things that are particularly unnecessary.

    "and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."rev17:8
    The above scrupture supports this scripture :
    "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
    All are saved actually..those whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundations of the world are saved by " the lamb slain from the foundations of the world"..this is PURE ELECTION AND NOT JUST FOREKNOWLEDGE AS YOU WOULD HAVE US BELIEVE...This is a grand plan by the Master who controls everything...the plan of salvation was not an after thought and sin did not enter by chance...it was pre- ordained..God knew exactly what he was doing...

  • @isaacnkosi548
    @isaacnkosi548 Před 6 měsíci

    Yes . Those whose names were nor found in the book of life were cast in the lake of fire only for the destruction of the flesh and its desires ..and then they will be saved..because the lamb was slain from the foubdatiin of the world for the salvation of mankind....the lake of fire is not hell fire but second death.
