It's quite interesting to see the younger version of Lawrence Wong. His speech at that time was decent, but felt slightly shaky. His more recent speeches are however really impressive. He has really matured over the years.

BC interview Spore Pm on March 14th 2021, LHL says the singaporeans vaccination respond is slow because of low covid cases in Singapore. if LHL says is true than why Singapore is still banning alcohol consumption after 1030pm and why so many places still need advance booking to enter the swimming pool, gym, football badminton facilities during the off peak hour?

I hope Lawrence Wong will bring the People back into the Peoples Action Party again.
The party has gone from the Peoples Action Party, under Lee Kuan Yew, to the Action Party under Goh Choc Tong, and then became the Party, under Lee Hsien Loong.
Let's have a government where People are the focus of all policies and not government convenience.
Fines, ban, legislations, force, are not the way to engineer people's behaviour.
The latest shame on Singapore is the Law for clearing trays at hawker centres.
There should be a concerted campaign like in the LKY days.
How many years did the Courtesy Campaign run?

hope he brings spore back to singaporeans . give them the rights they deserve. in a small country where one goes anywhere, one hears more foreign voices speaking and see more foreign peoples of 3rd world countrries even in jobs. something is really wrong. didnt goh chok tong say a few years ago he made a mistake taking in too many too fast. ??? so what has happened? nothing. more are coming in ! along with tht filthy, crimes, joblessness, high property market prices, racism, etc

Paraxoxically, in fifty years time, the children of those you complain of, will be like you!
You are a child of earlier foreigners, don't forget that.
Goh Chok Tong idea was right, and companies seized on it and reaped benefit from it, resulting in too many foreigners coming in too fast. In those days the workers were Thai and Filipinos. Since then things has changed. The in flow is regulated. It is now Bangladeshis and Indians. Its not nothing is done.
There are now more companies employing people in Singapore. If Singaporean only is the criteria, then there cannot be so many diverse companies in Singapore (not enough people). The number of hawkers would also be reduced! Think about that. The economy would shrink. Singapore would not be rich enough, and correspondingly not strong enough.
Not being strong enough is a fatal error.
