I have watched your video about 50 times in the last 24 hours because it is the ONLY marbling video that I felt I could realistically do on my wall and it turned out amazing!! I wish I could post pictures to show you. But thank you so much for breaking it all down.

I'm a professional painter. You spoke of laquer, well BIN laquer primer dries really fast and it sands really easy and it can be tinted to any color. BIN is great for priming ANYTHING including metal and finished urethane wood. I love your videos BTW!

BIN certainly does the job, but it's filthy stuff unfortunately... 🥴
AS's lacquer is a top coat - similar to a polyurethane varnish. It's toy-safe and well under 50 VOCs, compared to BIN's *_500_* - which has to be officially labelled as a hazardous substance. 🤢

Oh I know this is an older video but I am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe somebody will read this and have a solution. I want to do this so bad but I don't buy animal products so I'm having a hard time finding a faux feather that I can use instead of the real feather. You'd think there'd be so pheasant feathers all over the place but there isn't surprisingly. Is there anything I can use instead of the feather that would work exactly like it or close to it or does anyone know where I can get a faux pheasant feather? Oh I hope someone still reading these comments and has a suggestion because I desperately would like to do this and I know that the feather will make it so much easier to get this look. Thank you in advance.

Once you’ve completed your project and it’s completely dry you can wax straight over the top of course wax takes a few weeks to fully cure and harden so you must be careful on what you put on top of the surface just cover protect for that first month pretty much the same as any other chalk painted surface 🙂
