You make the absolute best detailing content that I've ever seen. So fair and objective. That being said I really want to see NV Evo vs Cquarts UK 3.0. I had a vehicle that i coated with 3.0 but only kept the vehicle for about 4 months after that so I never got to see how it held up and I just spent a few days polishing and coating my new vehicle with NV Evo so I really want to know the differences you see in performance and durability between the two. Thanks again for the awesome videos, keep up the good work!!!

As a Gyeon installer the way of application with Gyeon Pure (circular motion), its because of its formula. Over all Gyeon coatings, Pure has the most concentration of SiO2 (about 25% according to the brand) so thats why putting in one layer should be enough to achieve the best performance. Great video Sandro as always

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing but you show a dual-stage/2-layer coating product in Gyeon vs a single-stage product in the Exo. Yes, Exo CAN be used standalone, but typically that isn't the case.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I bought the Miyabi + ISM package.
However I was mainly surprised by Miyabi. The ease of use was great. You could even forget about a panel for 15 minutes, and take it off without having high spots or many issues in my case.
The thing that struck me the most was how well the product spread and how little I had to use of it. I managed to get 8 layers out of one bottle on medium sized cars!!!
I put 2x miyabi 1x ism on one car
Then just 2x miyabi on another one
And then just 1 layer of miyabi on another car.
And if I'm honest, you couldn't even really notice a lot of difference in performance between the 3 cars.
So I'm starting to think of using just Miyabi and just one simple layer as a go to coating.
If I keep getting 6-8 layers out of 1 bottle it would mean the entire coating would only cost 15€/application and only take 1.5 hour to apply. This seems unmatched in my head.
I also think you'd be able to get 1 year of good performance from the 1 layer of miyabi. Which is all i'm looking for, as I quickly want to polish and detail ly car anyway every year after the harsh winter months so it's back to new for the summer.

Hi Sandro, just wondering when your test panels are micro marred or have micro abrasions, even through they might be clean as far as top layer surface contaminates, do you think that the small miro swirls and scratches effects the coatings ability to adhere to the surface correctly, after all your asking the coating to self level yet there's so many imperfections and peaks in the surface that its going to be really hard for any surface coating to be level, when there's so many imperfections, swirl marks and marks on the clear coat? Just asking, as the surface if its perfectly as much as can be after paint correction and IPA wipe down is always going to be a better test panel than any with swirl marks and miro scratches etc, IMHO, i wonder what is your opinion on that subject as far as using test panels which are damaged to the point of swirl marks and micro scratches etc. :)

If that dont do the trick, also use a tar renover, or evne a warerspot remover. That did the trick for me. @@Pantfoot You could just have told me ;) But thx for the info, i got it. Im pretty surprised, that EXO ist not able to withstand a "simple" APC wipedown, although its 1:2.

I’m an installer of ultra and Gyeon. Not even close. Ultra smokes gyeon. Also this is an unfair test, exo is better as an overcoat then a stand-alone versus Gyeon.
