There is nothing more peaceful then a evening alone in the forest. Good video.food looked good.
Thanks. It's a peaceful experience.
Good to see you back, you washed the dishes well, Hundred years ago they used to clean and wash the dishes with mud.
It's easy and I don't have to use soap. Gets the job done. Hope you have a good one Femma.
Saya suka dengan suasana hutannya... ada sumber mata air...alami banget..
camping yang sangat berkesan...
Terima kasih banyak. Hutan di sini sangat bagus untuk berkemah sepanjang tahun.
Nice spooky campout. Love that little lantern. Thanks & we'll done as always ~ Wile E.
Thanks again! Have a good one and be safe.
Nature's dishwasher
I would have put the meat direct on the grill and them chop it up. Gives this extra bbq flavour
Thanks for the tip!
My friend ، you are peace of mind in my world ⚘❤
Thanks so much Dyaa. Thatnks for watching and hope all is well with you.

Very enjoyable video Josh!
Thanks Paul. Hope your doing well.
Got to admit Josh, your videos are very chill. Great for an early morning watch. Thanks
Thanks Glenn. Some like it before bed too. LOL.
You can always gather the surrounding wet wood and lay it around your fire to dry it out. You probably did that, but just throwing a good tip out there.
Hey thanks that's a good tip. Not everyone things of that stuff. Cheers.
As always outstanding video keep up the great work
Thank Anthony. Got lots more coming this winter too.
Nice one, looked a good trip👍🏕😎👌
Hey Colin. This was a nice trip. Wish I seen the deer before they seen me tho.

Good video mate that was a nice location you picked and good you got to meet the locals lol all the best, sam
LOL Ya it was a busy spot here in the bush this trip. Cheers Sam.
Nice secluded spot. Running water is nice for not only usage but the peaceful sound.
Water is always a great resource to have around. Sometimes it's a little noisy. lol
Good camp. 👍
Thanks Micro. Hope you are well.
So relaxing to watch this video! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Janet.
I suggest you try camper van for your camping vlogs. :)
Thanks for the idea Rick. Maybe some day.
Sssoooo gotta ask my friend…. What was in the cup…. And not the coffee…. The other glorious liquid…. Great vid, glad you didn’t freeze.
HAHA. That might be a little Capt M coming along for the ride. It's not cold enough to freeze yet. Maybe Jan. We'll find out.
Loved the video, very similar woodland to where I grew up! Loved being next to a babbling brook.
Hey Robert. Ya the brook is a nice touch when your in the woods. Great resource to have by.
Hello Joshua. I liked your video. Sad that you didn't captured those deers and those goblins 😁 greetings from Lithuania ✌
I know. Maybe next time. 😃
Great video Josh! Perhaps you can start a "Deer Wrestling" channel? There might be a demand for it on CZcams.
lol. I'm sure they kick my butt.
nice vid bro big love from London England.
Thank so much. Welcome from over the pond.
I really enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing more. It was very relaxing with minimal noise. 👍😊
Thanks so much Paul. Should be some good ones coming this winter.
hi Joshua..i like your video
Thanks so much Mawi. Hope your having a good week.
Josh, great camping trip in the Canadian forest . Looks like a great 🏕. Trip. Cool 😎 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank so much Ron. Be safe out there.
I love your content Josh! Thanks for another great video.
Thank so much AB. This was a fun easy trip!
Good overnighter Josh!
"Breaking news: Lone camper tells of harrowing night being attacked by ghost deer!!"
Their snorting is how they alert other deer of danger.
Cheers mate!!
LOL. If it was ghost deer I'd be out of there in a flash. I'm good with the night Nav. Cheer dude.
Good to see ya out , I’m still working on my oxygen after covid . Will be six weeks this Sunday and doctors say could be up to 3 months if not more to be back to normal. . God Bless . Maybe one day I will get back out . 😊
Oh no!! That's a long time dude. Glad to here your getting better and hope it doesn't take so long for ya. Be careful and stay safe.
Loverly stuff. Reminds me a lot of my favorite camping spot up on Mt. Sutton. Cheers from Montreal QC
thanks for watching Jeff. Cheers.
Lugar maravilhoso 👏👏🇧🇷
É maravilhoso aqui fora.
Thank you Josh for sharing another awesome video ! Although those woods looked so creepy and haunted! 👻☺️ That water stream was beautiful. I’m sure the sound helped ya sleep better. It’s so cool to see you cooked what I would call Arroz Con Carne (Rice with hamburger meat!)
It looked delicious. And of course my favorite Breakfast! It all looked awesome Josh! 👍🏻♥️ You have a great & safe weekend! Laterz!
Hey Rosie. Thanks for watching and you wonderful support as always. The water was great for sleeping I passed right out. lol. The food was easy but very tasty too. Have a great weekend.
@@JoshuaGammon awesome! 😊♥️👍🏻
Nice video. If you practice and get it right, and snort back at them they'll hang around a little when it snorts again and you snort back they'll be like wtf is this danger or not.
😁 Nice. maybe I'll try it next time and video it. Then you can let me know if i'm doing it right??? 🤣
@@JoshuaGammon it sounds kind of like a a drawn out wwiiiissh with a lot of air. 😯👍 Keep up the great vids.
Hey buddy ! Good video ! I just watched it with my daughter haha I cant believe you eat that mexican rice !!! I thought I was the only one haha that stuff is delicious, especially if you had real garlic, thai chillies, onions and maybe some chicken. That might be my next camping meal.
Greta spot too, I say this every time but I need to get a hammock and try that out. Looks super comfortable. Anyways man, good video as always ! Hope all is good with you, the family and the new house.
Hey buddy! YA I have to break out the quick easy meals once and a while. That was the first time I had the Mexican rice pack though. It was amazing with the hamburger. I'll do that again for sure. Your daughter is going to need her first backpack soon. She'll have it full by the way, and guess who is going to be carrying in the woods!! DAD!!!! 🤣
I wouldve put the meat mix all together instead of cooking separated less cleaning, quicker and less work I think😅
This is true! It' wasn't to bad. One pot one pan.
Why have I only just discovered your channel my mate🤔🤔🤔...... Great video now subscribed 😁😁👍👍
Hey Karl Thanks so much and glad ya like it. Hope you have a great week.
Cool trip. Love this time of year. With that heavy load you had surprised you didn't bring a small forest ax or bigger saw. Hey. You didn't mess up the eggs this time. LOL. Nice video though. Enjoyed it. 😉
Hey Nicholas. Ya I got the eggs sorted this time. Cheers buddy. .😊
Hi from Oz ✌🏼 love your work just would love it more if you made longer videos 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey Litz. I might try that on the next one. What would like to see if the video is longer? I don't want to bore people. Thanks for the feed back.
I prom Indonesia i like ok
Thanks so much Buk!!! Take care.
New sub here, awesome video man! Mind if I ask what you’re filming on? You have some beautiful shots. I love the close ups and the low light shots.
Thank so much. I'm using a Sony a6400 and a rode micro
@Joshua Gammon Awesome, thanks Josh!
Hey Josh, could you let me know when your next video is coming out? Thank you sir!!
I just came back from one this weekend 😁. I should have it edited and up on the weekend.
Great video, what about a trail cam so you can try a capture some of the aminals. I like the hammock and trap set up. Great to see you back out there. Enjoy the fall .
I'm thinking about the cam setup for that night. See whats around. Thanks Linda and hope you have a good one.
Can you show how you store food and layout your backpack?
Ya maybe in one of my winter video once we get snow. Good idea Matt.
@@JoshuaGammon thank you!
Looked like a good time in the “creepy” woods haha. Even better when you got spooked by the deer. Very nice spot by the small brook. Good looking meals. If you need more energy in the morning, bring a bagel and make a sandwich with the eggs and bacon. Nice trip, and winter is coming… can’t wait. Cheers, my friend! Pete - KI7LIL
Hey Peter. It was a good little spot for a creepy camp. LOL. I have taken a bagel in the past and make a great breakfast. I'll have to do that again. Cheer and be safe dude.
What item/packing system do you use for carrying whole fresh eggs without them breaking?
I just cover them with paper towel and keep them in my metal pot. Never had a problem yet.
“Step 2” I dig your channel, gonna watch some more for sure! Gotta ask, is that a Camping With Steve reference?
Thanks Michael. Ya camping with Steve ref for sure. Everyone watches Steve. 🤣
First time, just subscribed very nice video and food, what country are you in
In Canada my friend. 🔥
Would love to know apart from the hiking essentials what kind of video equipment you use? Great videos, fumbled about your channel 😊
I just use a Song a6400 and a rode micro mic. Nothing else or fancy gear. I used to just use my phone. LOL
Most jurisdictions have rules about camp siting with respect to water - specifically how much setback you should allow. Typically around 100m if memory serves. One reason is to reduce the chance of polluting the water source (soap, waste etc.) and another is so that you don't disrupt the local wildlifes' access to their drinking source. Pretty good bet those deer were pissed you were camping beside their water fountain ;)
Hey Steve. I didn't use soaps or anything in the water. Just the ground and sand to clean the pan/pot.
@@JoshuaGammon Yeah, saw the moss and sand method in the video - great idea actually. Comment was more about explaining why the deer kept snorting at you - guessing it is their equivalent of "there goes the neighborhood" 😁
@@steveflogeras oh yes. Your probably right about the deer 👍
As someone who really wants to start real camping I have to ask do you just randomly pick a spot and go in to the woods or are these all places on your owned property?
Hey Sama. Here in Canada we have a lot of crown or public lands you can just go camping on. Just take out your garbage and you're good to go. My Bushcraft camps are on land that is approved by the person managing it. But no I don't have land to go back that far.
How did you get the purple flames?
LOL. Not sure. I notice that too. Must be something in the wood?
What's that backpack mate
The backpack and bag are from www.helikon-tex.com
Don't worry. It's not "haunted".
I was enjoying it till the part where you were cutting down live trees…
Edit: my bad, disregard previous comment ^-^
No live tree cut here. Just dead standing 👍
@@JoshuaGammon ohhhhhh!!!
Bring someone with you next time to talk with you and do other things and stay longer then one day
I like going alone. It's peaceful. I would stay longer then one day but I have a full time job and family so it makes it hard. I'm lucky to get out one night. lol
You need fishing gear and a dog.
LOL. I get the dog thing a lot. Maybe some day.
I just want to be clear I find you incredibly attractive.
Thanks Mckinney. Looking good is half the battle out here ya know. LOL 😂
