Considering that Lewis had the right to go off track in some parts of the track this lap was incredible.

the green stuff on the outside of the kerbs in assetto corsa are really slippery and hinder traction, hence Tom didn't use it much and it was faster being only on the kerb
Then again, he also had up to 5 g pushing on his body and neck
bruh did you even saw this simulator car speed. it was going 341 kmph on kemmel straight. Lewis was only going 324kmph. Felt like an illegal engine lol
Apart from Career vids, Can I beat the pole series is my favorite one, by far!
In 2020 they could go beyond the white line so you shouldn’t worry about that

How about trying to beat the 1975 Nürburgring Pole Lap by Niki Lauda?
If I'm not mistaken party mode was banned exactly at Spa so I don't think Lewis used it in Q3 but on the other hand you respected track limits while in real life drivers could go wide on the exits of Le combes, No name, Stavelot 1 and the Bus stop chicane so the two things compensate each other and this attempt is fair; great work as always Tom😃.
I think the party mode ban came in for Monza.

I suggests Max's first pole lap( Hungary 2019), and two others great pole laps... Singapore 2015 and Bahrain 2016( where Lewis said at the end: " what a sexy lap"😂)

i set a 1,40,8 around spa, i will keep boasting about this for atleast 5 more years, i also run engine break on 3 and mguk recovery on 10%. worked wonders for me

it's the bar that shows the current force feedback strenght beeing output from the game.
I dropped the weight by 5kg and added a bit more brake kg n it feels way better

Hi Tom I think you know that there is a rainfx mod to assetto corsa. If you have it, why not to try to beat the Verstappens' wet pole lap from Spa in 2021?
How are your tyres not overheating? Everytime i locked up or do a corner full throttle in the F1 car the tyres go red immediately and the rest of the lap is ruined.

I remember getting to the 39s with the Fh2020 v3, i haven't driven that car in a long time, so idk if this is it, the steering wheel display looks different from what i remember so i doubt it's the same car. But that Rss cars are mega fast, and the Acfl 2020 kept up pretty easily as well. Mega lap though 👌. If you haven't already, go beat Hamiltons 2020 Mugello lap, it's a 1.15 something, it's a super fun circuit once you get the flow, got my time to high 1.13s
Hey man you sound like you know a lot about assetto corsa and have driven a lot with F1 mods yourself. Can you tell me why this W11 mod from THS Discord has different ERS settings than in the video? (Charging, LOW, BALANCED, HIGH) Also the downforce settings are different (front 1-8 and rear 1-8)
@@lh1608 I've never driven this car showcased here in the video, or the discord so i don't know. But id just assume that the car he drove is an older version of the the one you downloaded, that's why the names might be different from his. This video is over a month old i think so the mod likely got updated.

Fastest average speed. That's why it's the fastest lap. Not because it's lower time at a shorter track.
Austria's laptime is shorter but that's because the track is shorter. If you look at average speed Monza produces the fastest laptimes.

Just went back and watched that pole lap. I forgot how bad it looked when cars were just allowed to go over the white line. I'm so glad track limits are being properly enforced now.
