Column runs vertically. Beam is the one that runs horizontally.

Just a correction, “beam” is a horizontal structural element which support a floor and “column” (also known as pillar in layman term) is a vertical structural element which support a beam or a number of beams. In this case, only this unit does not have a column supporting the car porch roof, this is very strange as the 7 units appears to be identical and built at same time by the same developer. It will be good to check with the existing structural drawings whether a column is not originally there or any A&A drawings showing the column (if there is any) has been removed with the car porch roof beam system strengthened and loads properly transferred to other existing structural elements and their foundations.
