Islam is so much more simple. There is one God who created everything. He is not created Himself no does He resemble His creation in any way. He sent Messengers to mankind to guide them to the purpose of their creation which is to worship the creator and not the creation. God is oft-forgiving and most Merciful. He forgives all sins except (shirk) which is to worship other than Him and make another God equal to Him.
