Not all horror happens in the dark. Even a creepy & deserted forest can be horrifying during the daytime. This was really good. You managed to pull off an amazing ittle film without one word. 📽️

It's incredibly stupid to hang out alone in the woods. There are plenty of scary things even if you don't believe in ghosts.
Everything could be happened accidentally.

in most horror films, it seem like ppl are always hanging in d woods all alone by themselves, and without bringing a single darn thing along for protection! Just their own single, vulnerable self, devoid of anything to even hold on to or against any uncertainty & danger that could strike in any given time!..

I really think this too .if a girl camp alone in specially India..
That's one of the biggest misconceptions that a lot of ppl, make when going to hangout in the woods......no danger will be out there, so why would they need protection? I don't care if the only danger I could possibly encounter is rabid fluffy hamsters, I'm bringing protection especially because, crazy folks don't mind having patience and waiting for someone to camp or just trying to get a few hours of hiking?

Out of curiosity what's the most off-putting scary folklore you have heard about in India? In america we have wird cryptids left over from native American legends like the wendigo or the skinwalker. Along with local legends like the Hopkinsville goblin and the Mt Vernon monster. Anything like that in India ?

Come now all we horror buffs love those Black robes as you just know the story will go in a direction that 9 out of 10 will end badly . No real rule of thumb concerning camping alone except for just a few things , bring a gun or bring the Necronomicon , these gals brought tea & new sneakers . Time to pay the piper cause you paid no attention to what was around you & then ignored all the signs things are not as they should be. Very well done .

I believe that would be the spirit ,it would turn you into what it is then your safe & you can save other as we see here. Who goes camping alone with no weapon for self protection not that it would have help in this situation.

What I enjoyed: the music, the gorgeous scenery, the suspense. What I did not enjoy: too much of an intro, especially in comparison to the little bits of horror. Too much build up to not a big bang up ending.

Growing up I lived on 8 acres. Of farm land bordered by a creek and woods..I. spent alot of time out there, not alone though..I had 3 German Shepherds with me..I was young 9 until we moved at 19..I was 6 when moved there...

Wow, first comment! This was beautifully filmed. It looked professionally done, that is for certain. That fact that there was no dialogue, only gorgeous yet eerie music was an amazing touch. The young woman seemed to have a sense that something was amiss, almost from the start.....am I wrong?
Even before she saw any drawings on her body. Intuition, foreboding, just an inner "vibe" on her part? Either way, it was an eerie tale & I enjoyed it.

Okay then, let's recap. The forest spirit who indoctrinated this girl took her time. She did it little by little with some finesse to it all. First stealing the mirror so she couldn't see the mark on her head which appeared later. Not to mention carving the mark in the tree. Put something on her back and finally on her ankle. Took a couple of days. Kind of eased her into it.
Now she is a forest spirit and what does she do? Just swoops down on her victim and "initiates" her into the sisterhood all at once! Crass, lacking in subtlety. Shame on her. No foreplay at all. But then she is new to this. Maybe, after the hundredth or so victim, she too will have some fun with it first, out of sheer boredom.
I wonder if new spirits get their own section of woods to haunt? Sort of like a paranormal franchise. Can't have them getting in each other's way. That could lead to woodland spirit conflicts. Girl fights are bad enough but supernatural girl fights could be horrible. Not just the usual pulling each other's hair and not letting go. We're talking pulling each others hearts out. Also not letting go. On a paranormal plane and no one to break it up, that could go on for centuries. Meanwhile failing to meet their new spirit initiation quotas year after year.

Well done, well acted - but I don't like it. A young woman, hiking and camping alone, running alone, has a malevolent spirit, perhaps death, following her. How dare she be independent, how dare she be alone, she's going to get it! I do live in a wild place, and there are dangers to doing anything alone and without weapons. We must be prepared for creepy humans, bears, mountain lions, even rabid skunks. I am a realist, and spirits are metaphors to me. But this presentation just irritates me. An independent young woman will be annihilated, turned into a dark spirit, and in turn, annihilate other young independent women. So don't be independent! Phooey.

Who the heck goes "camping" with all that expensive stuff? Try camping out on the streets of a city sometime with no money and little to keep you warm and looking in trash cans to eat. That and the like, is camping out. What the character is doing looks like being overly indulged and could just as well spend the time in a 3-4 star hotel. Too much music.
