I think this is probably the best lower-end robot in the last few years. I need to get one of these at some point. My only concern is the screen. I’m blind, so I won’t be able to tell what he needs unless there are sounds to go with whatever comes up. One thing I want to know is how is it as far as wanting or needing you to do certain things? Is it like an original furby, which keeps track of everything you’ve done to it, or is it completely random like the newer spin master robots?
unfortunately when his collar pings when he wants something it’s exactly the same sound regardless of what he wants - the only way to tell is what’s displayed on the screen. He has a very short term memory in terms of whether you attend to his needs or not - basically when he wants something he’ll keep asking for it until he gets upset but after that he’ll rapidly forget about it. I’m not sure if it’s completely random or not - that’s an interesting question. I’ll assess that one & get back to you on it.

Wow he's finally out! What are all his sensors? Does it hopefully include motion, light, and vision?
Sadly no, no motion, light or vision. Sensors are not this pups strong point. His sensors are touch (LOTS of touch sensors), Hall effect/Reed switch (he can detect a magnet on his back & in his mouth), a microphone (answers his name & you can choose from 7) and answers voice commands (very good voice recognition) and, the most important, a colour sensor (that’s how you interact with him through his collar). His best point for me is his range of movement, which is pretty darn awesome & lifelike - he’s an absolute joy to play tug with - the only robotic pet that’s come anywhere near playing tug with a real animal - you can pull reasonably hard & the animation is brilliant - he really puts his back into it 😆. Second best point is the collar where you can see what he’s thinking & how he’s feeling (he can ask for stuff & you can give him things or ask him to do something) - a stroke of absolute genius on the part of Skyrocket IMHO 😁 BTW fantastic CZcams name & top movie, I’m a big horror fan 😉)

The only place I’ve seen Moji for sale is at Target in the US - I used Ship7 to buy him from Target & have him shipped to the UK

@@gablovestech Ship7’s website isn’t the easiest to navigate. You need to set up an account with them first and then you get issued with an address that gives you an individual suite number for their warehouse. Once that’s set up you can use that address when you checkout at a store such as Target. If Target accepts your credit card then you just have to use Ship7 to have the package shipped from Ship7’s warehouse to your home address. Hope this helps.

I received my Moji, from eBay. He was sent from England . Canada has not gotten them in as of yet.

@@christophercruz5891 He is always either lying down or sitting - he doesn’t stand. If you ask him to sit when he’s lying down he’ll sit and vice versa.
@@thankstocalebchung1556 thank you so much. I see I always thought that when you asked him to sit down he would sit from a stand. And just as a tip I read somewhere that when you say adding game, you start with the number one and you don’t say 1+1 after he barks one time you would then say +1 then you would get to Berks +2 you would get four Berks because he had two and then you added two more. And I’m sorry about the dictation failure since I am blind I use the dictation feature on my phone which you speak into it and then it speaks what I type so I know if I had it written correctly. There’s a video that I think you might like on my channel it’s called Thanksgiving service speech November 24, 2019 and it’s where I stand up in front of my church and talk about being thankful that I was born blind. Anyway I’m going to look today if I can find one of those dogs he seems interesting and if he’s always sitting down then you don’t have to worry about him getting off table or anything. How big is he approximately? I do have a life-size plush golden retriever that doesn’t do anything but I know they make a golden retriever version of this dog scamps. Only thing I worry about is they say you can’t turn him off once you have taught him to do everything and if I’m sleeping or if I’m awake at night and I do something loud he might wake up and bark

This is the worst dog ever!!!! I bought two and they both had the same problem. Which is they LOSE there voice and sound!!! My daughter was heart broken. 💔 It happened weird after just a few weeks of using it. Do not recommend and it cost a lot. These people should fix this problem in this dog

I’m just questioning why they picked a labradoodle, cause it’s encouraging a Unethical mutt.
Since no ethical breeder would breed them. It’s the worse mix they could’ve picked.
Yes, it’s just a toy. But people might go, “ Oh that’s adorable, I want a real one. “
Than it’s just a disaster. People need to really think realistically when making something.
Especially cause it could, one day, involve people into getting a real dog,
without doing to proper research.
I think it’s debatable whether toys encourage people to get a real animal, is it not the case that parents get an interactive animatronic toy, as the responsible thing to do, for a kid who asks for a real animal?
