- I have wanted a eyedropper for Power BI for the longest time and I finally got one that works not only for Power BI but for anything on your screen.
With this you will also get:
Chapters:
00:00 Intro
00:52 Color picker for power bi
02:20 Create your own split screen pattern
03:00 Preview of svgs on file explorer
03:07 Resize images without an editor
03:11 Change keyboard shortcuts
03:18 Bulk rename files
03:32 Global Search on windows
nice video. i've been using Power Toys for a while now. note: the eyedropper default keystroke is Win+Shift+C. also, when you are using the eye dropper, use your scroll wheel to 'zoom' into a section of the screen and get even finer control over the color picker.
also, you can change the color formats if you want something else or in addition to HEX values.
You're just 'Ruth'less when it comes to knowledge sharing.
Great work. Thank you so much. 🙏
😂
Thanks so much for introducing the color picker. Your blogs are awesome!
Lifesaver!! And thanks 😊
You are a good teacher becoz you are a good student. Always learning and teaching new things.
Whatever I learn, I show you here ;)
OMG... this is a life saver, especially for me who likes to keep the colours constant!
But I'll also save the colours as a 'theme' so I can use the same colours everytime :)
Now you are set!!
Its very interesting... learing new things everytime. Thanks Ruth 🙂
Nice new tools, that can help developer far beyond Power BI. Thanks, Ruth
My pleasure :)
I. Love. This.
Up to now I always copy-pasted pictures in powerpoint. This ofcourse is much much easier.
Biggest challenge of today, finding my new shortcut for the tool.....!
Had the same issue when I installed it 🤣🤣
I settled for ctrl+E (eye dropper) if that helps ;)
Great tool! Thanks!
Very very useful, thanks!
You are absolutely right Ruth, an eyedropper for PBI has been needed for some time. But this is a great Windows tool, not just for PBI, thanks for sharing Ruth...🙏😊
I use it all the time now :)
As always super cool and useful. Thank you!
🎉🎉
Wow! I never knew about Power Toys. Thank You very much
Excelente Ruth, gracias por compartir, lo conocía pero tenía tiempo que no lo usaba y ahora que trabajo con Power BI a tiempo completo me va fenomenal.
Verdad??
Thanks, a life saver!
This is so amazing feature ma'am 🙌
I love it too!
It is crazy 😃 great job 👍🏾
Enjoy!
Thanks for making this video
Great!
Thanks. I was using PowerPoint before and holding down the mouse button to go outside the window to capture colors. This PowerToy is easier.
Yes, I have been using all kind of programs, but this one is the best. Enjoy!
You are amazing. Thx
Thanks !
Thanks, this is really cool 👍
Really useful!
Unbelievable:)
Eye droppers are life
They certainly are :)
Thank you Ruth, I am using power toys on my personal machine. Would prefer if these utilities along with others are made available in windows without having to install it by Admin. Thank you
Completely agree 👍!
Thank you for this. It would be very helpful to include the links. I notice you don't do this on your videos. Not sure why but there has to be a reason I'm not considering. Appreciate the videos, though.
Sometimes I forget 😅
Thank you for this powerful info :)
Enjoy!
Nice one. The link please?
That's great for overcoming my colour blindness!
Never thought of that, but you are right, it should definitely help :)
@@CurbalEN Lucky you, so you never had to try to replicate a colour, not knowing if it was orange, brown or green ;-)
I heard that there are glasses that correct color blindness, Have you tried them?
@@CurbalEN No. Heard of those too but never tried....
If you have the chance, do it! I am short-sighted and lenses changes my world every morning:)
