I always carry SWGC TVET college prospectus to share with my community. Its very important for parents to be educated about TVET colleges so that they enrol their children to learn skills at an early stage. Im exited to hear that Dosto Noge is in TVET college. I wentvto TVET college at 46 years and when I finished I got a permanent job in government department. My life chenged for the better. TVET must rise
Having worked with Mr Dosto at Sedibeng College, I can attest that he is a breath of fresh air! Doesn't take himself as more important than other staff members! He is legendary!
Dosto Noge. One of the best in the South African television many soapies. Especially the one Keletso TV series. His daughter currently acting on HOUSE OF ZWIDE Goisang Noge. She will flourish in the TV industry.
Oh my goodness, my all time favourite . I once wrote him a letter in 1997, just expressing my appreciation for his job.I could not believe it when a few weeks later he called me and I got to meet him in Durban. Can't even remember the show they had come down for, was just so star struck shame, still have the photos we took on that day..
I once presented the FET Vocational and Academic at two meetings, one to politicians and to teacher union. That was about 20 years ago. To date the matter was never given attention. Thanks Dosto, because when I presented people were very skeptical. I hope the matter find expression in the relevant structures.
Happy to see ntate Noge is doing well ❤ his dad and my grandfather were good friends (Monanthane from zone 10 Sebokeng) may their souls continue to rest in peace 🕯️❤
🪑King David’s chair is truly inspired and has hosted the Upper Echelons of society, whose influence stretches way beyond the borders of South Africa….that to me is beyond special💫💫
I love what you do Mr Dave😊 I am 47 Yrs old and most of your guests are relevant to me. Dosto, was/ is one of the best. Rea leboha👌. Your are a blessing, I feel your compassionate heart towards others, may God bless you and extend your territories
Wow, the Campus Manager simplified the TVET training program. Objectives, policy , business operations, challenges, solutions. I think the stigmatization part is the main problem. I agree with David, there is a need for communation strategy to generate more education and awareness because there are real benefits. From this interview and reading of some materials will assist us to share information with potential learners. BIG up
Bra Mdeva 🤞I swear you still owe also 4hrs of ntate Thuso, yrs later that less than an hour interview has quenched my thirst. I feel usirhobile, he too deserves than long informative chat.
I would like to submit my reserved and sincere thanks to Bro Dave & team for the type of personnel that you guys bring to the show, this is creme de la creme, what did we do to deserve this manna. You are relatable to every situation which proves that experience does not have substitute, which is what's lacking from other SA podcasters. Never consider quitting this great work & something great would manifest, lastly the Tsonga singer with a wheel that Dosto was looking for is Mr Amon Mvula (RIP). One Love.
Its been almost 3 decades since Dosto was on TV and he is still looking the same. Banna! These are the people we should call celebrities. We celebrate you Mr Noge and we are glad you handed a baton to your beautiful Gaisang. You did well Sir 🎉
i laughed my lungs out, My uncle was trafficked to Lesotho the same way, letter written "please keep him he is a comrade here causing havoc" and he wanted to go to Tanzania, so he was so angry, i always ask him why did you not open the letter?🤣🤣🤣
Oh man....I'm so happy to have gotten the opportunity to watch this. Bra Dosto is a great man. We named our Guard dog Dosto back in 1999. That's how much we loved him❤ PS: I didn't know this young lady is his daughter. Thanks Bra Dave
What’s you said about viewers is so true, I what’s all you video in full but I don’t even know what radio station you work on!!!! And I really like this show big time🎉
This takes me to memory lane He was my high school teacher at Thuto Tiro 2007 I was not the brightest of students but his hard work and determination has helped shape me and get a matric certificate ,I remember we studied during a strike and he always made time and sacrificed his life for us we,He would organize a class and teach us different subjects regardless of the ongoing strike 😅May God keep blessing him🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👌🏽✨️ 2:45:13
When he say most of their staff are people who were student there it's true ,I know of Flavius Mareka TVET College (sasolburg),their staff it's mense who were students there.
TVET college segment is very important and we should spread the word on it. Dave you're on radio. Please make it a point to mention it on your show at least... once a week.
Ntate Dosto I yes you, I have worked at TVET college for years and to add on that those kids are working at bigger companies now because of that experimential learning they did in NQF Levels.
When Bra Dosto spoke about how he was introduced to Fusion/Smooth Jazz by Bra Bobby, I smiled😀 because that’s my exact music taste🎵👌🏽 #TheRippingtons #BobJames #AcousticAlchemy #SpecialEFX #Fourplay #3rdForce & etc.
I seriously have been transported back to my childhood and it feels amazing. Selimathunzi Duku Duku. Wow. It’s soo great seeing Doste hlee. He still looks the same.
Thanks again Bra Dave💯 I remember sitting in an office face to face with Mr Noge at Sedibeng College Sebokeng campus on my last year of study in 2016 for selling weed at the college 🥲🥹...when the security patrols caught me and told me I have to see the college head😮...for me to be scared I was so excited thinking that I will be sitting with a legend one on one 😂😂😭😭it's a day I will always remember and his words on that office are still in my mind and I always appreciate that moment even though we met under difficult or different circumstances I still thank God today for that moment because I believe there's no such thing as a coincidence. For people like him that is why I face life everyday trying to do better than yesterday and most importantly checking/choosing who I hang out with. Mr Noge is a legend truly. Always keeping his standards 🙏🫡
What a gentleman, he is poised and authentic in nature. I met him once and he is genuine in his interaction with people. I also met him when he was shooting Speak OUT and he took the time to interact with us, there was no Superstar complexities. I appreciate his calm demeanor, wisdom and how fondly the daughter speaks of him. WHAT a LEGEND!
Deza o senganga Grootman.... You brought in the best... Now i remember when you had Raitlhoana aka Ntate Pholo... Including Ntate Mofokeng wa Makhetha... Love it
Thats true, Aha Thuto was the best then until ntate Molelekoa' left few years ago, i didn't understand the set up i thought you taught at Nomini as well, people didn't like teaching those days, i started teaching with my Matric 1995, it was that easy😃
Oh man you left me with nostalgia, Sebokeng College Choir conductor Mnr Bandenhoost and Mr Masabala 😊 Thank you for the insights on the importance of TVET college
Really enjoyed this interview and just love how humbled Dosto is I remember sitting with him at Waldrift and you could forget he is a celebrity because he talked to me like we knew each other even though we just met
It kicks back down to memory lane, bra Dosto you turned the tables around in TV platforms back then, your energy was not comparable to any individual.... you were original broh!!!! Thanks for being you.
I'm really proud to say i've seen bro Toto the guitarist, the late Dr. Molefi Paul Sefularo and you yourself Mr Noge. Really inspired about your journey.
Great show and wonderful conversation about immeasurable talent of our time. Big up to V-Mash, Iyo bangane Iyo!!! Cheers Dugu-dugu long live!!! Thank King David and God bless.
The discipline, focus, grounding and humility of this man is amazing. If only these so-called celebrities would learn the difference between self confidence and self importance is and how far that carries you.
Good show; regarding TVETs, the "ideal" that Dosto is speaking of is actually the current status, just not promoted or emphasised but some of us who who provide career guidance do promote it. I am an educational psychologist, and part as part of what I share with the learners is to create awareness that formal school, according to Basic education guidelines, ends in Grade 9, and one can get go to college afterwards. It is the best approach if one thinks of Gardner's multiple intelligences. Thanks for the good show and for bringing this legend whom we grew up watching.

Oh wow good to know…
Hearing & seeing this man speak makes me feel like we've lost something as people who don't speak Zulu. Our television no longer has these voices. 💔
Oh my goodness, my all time favourite .
