For some reason all villages, bonus chests and trees generate above bedrock in cave worlds. I hope Mojang can fix this issue.

The fact is a while back i tried some of these worlds, and structures such as villages and ruined portals will only generate of the roof of the world. tested it with a beach world, and shipwrecks and sunken ruins only spawned on the roof. Not sure about mine shafts but amethyst geodes certainly spawn in dripstone cave worlds. the giant stalactites and stalagmites look really cool too!
As per usual, love the intro music.
u see how "Caves" is just overworld with nether generation and "Floating Islands" is just overworld with end generation?

But there's no light, so they won't advance their growth stages. Unless you have bonemeal, in which case you can bring it to where it's ready to grow a melon, but it will still never grow one.

i beat ice spikes floating islands world in 1.15 so the nether had no special biomes either
the strat was to find a mineshaft and jump off and land on a cobweb, but mineshafts are extremely dangerous cause skeletons spawn like crazy and you fall into the void with any small misstep
