I have one cut strand on my bow string . will one strand cut ,will I need to replace the whole bow string or can I put some serving above and below the cut string to keep the two ends from unwinding .
What's the best way to help the rubber/silicon tube get onto the peep's post? I have heard to dip the end of the tube in alcohol. Would the alcohol hurt the rubber /silicon of the tube? Thanks, Bobby
You lost me at 3:57.You state that you're wrapping just the one strand 3 or 4 times as you start below the peep sight, but the close ups from 3:58 to 4:05 show you to be wrapping both strands. At 4:07 it looks like you haven't started to wrap both strands yet. Am I just missing something? For the record, when you start wrapping below the peep, are your first several wraps around the single strand only? Thanks.
Watched it a few times over and understand how you go from one side of the peep sight to the other. I'm a newbie, and the new bow I got had a poorly served peep sight, with the lower serving breaking off completely after < 50 shots. I re-served it according to your video...man, how great is it now? Works great and that thing ain't going anywhere. Super video. Saved me an 80 mile round trip to get the thing redone, and gave me confidence about doing my own serving if the need arises again. Super. Thanks.
At 3:57 on, it all goes to shit. He says he's going around one strand but wrapping two strands, then he runs the tag end through the string without explaining it. And when he says " I'm now wrapping both strands of the peep sight " he's wrapping the string ! Where are the strands of a peep sight ?????? My peep sight doesn't have strands ! Awful
