- This box was stuck in the mail for a week and I was worried about the health of the plants!
There was definitely some leaves lost and a whole plant is now a stump with roots but I'm hoping I can save it!!! 🤞

✨UPDATE: I had emailed ecuagenera as DPD were telling me they couldn’t update me but could update them (I know, doesn’t make sense to me either) so I had asked ecuagenera to contact DPD. By the time they did, the parcel had been delivered, so they emailed me to check that was correct and I told them that yeah it has been delivered but the gigi was in bad shape. They requested a photo which I sent and they’ve said they will replace the gigi in my next order! I wasn’t expecting that to be honest and I am happy to accept as I was planning on ordering again (I want more anthurium 🤣)… so I have placed another order and the replacement gigi has been added free of charge… shout out to Ronald from ecuagenera who has been a gem 💎 at answering my emails promptly! ✨

I hope these plants have survived. I definitely need a lot more experience and knowledge before thinking of ordering plants from abroad!
I’ve done an updated video so won’t spoil it if you’re planning on watching it 👀🫢 ordering plants from abroad (or even online in the UK) can be so daunting but exciting! There’s definitely a process to understand regarding settling plants in after they arrive in your home but also I know some people have just done it without thinking about it and the plants have been fine 🤷🏻♀️😅 I think a lot depends on the plants genetics and how strong that particular specimen is! It’s so fun though, getting plants from abroad that are hard to get here! I have another order coming in soon 🥳

Do you know what? I’d emailed them about the delay in shipping because DPD said they would speak to them and not me but ecuagenera didn’t get back to me until after the delivery had arrived. I told them about the nigrolaminum Gigi and they’ve offered a replacement for me in my next order! I’ve accepted that as I was planning on placing another order again anyway 😅 so will definitely share that update in the acclimation process video and add it to the description of this one! Thank you for the support 🖤

I’m sorry you’re struggling to hear, I wonder if the settings of your device are effecting the quality of the audio? I believe sometimes the settings can be changed for CZcams to enhance music on videos? I only make this suggestion because I haven’t had any other complaints about the audio on this video (and I have had complaints on others! Haha)
