What I've seen a lot on other social media sites I'd that there were no other female skaters as it would've showed her flaws and that she hardly did anything on her own. But this routine was choreographed by jayne and Chris to work on her elegance on the ice and in my opinion and many others she was absolutely phenomenal.
While don't think this was a great performance, let me just play Devil's advocate for a second and defend the claim I've seen elsewhere that Brooke didn't have any female pros with her as they would have made her look bad. Hayley Tamaddon, winner of Series 5 (so not a weak skater), had the same set-up of no female pros when she did her showcase skate in Series 9, and got a perfect 40. czcams.com/video/vY1Tksd7cWQ/video.html
