As a wikian myself i absolutely adore *most* of the towers, i dont get the hate to the devs for the picking they are just mad their tosn totde and toan didnt get in (those are good too btw)
Tbh although i like the towers i just find the lineup to be a bit classic for z9, not saying z9 will suck tho ill prob get used to it

I absolutely agree. Zone 9 so far has some of the best towers ingame. And the new best tower in game is Tower of Nothing New.
ToNN is like a juke tower but super well modernized, kinda like too and toov mixed together

Zone 9 does not feel real man, I have so much jealousy over the talent in the people that could build these things
These towers feel so surreal and impossible, I have no idea how a mind can even think about these towers, and to actually build them is beyond my comprehension. If this ends up being the direction JToH goes in I don’t know what to think, these towers are amazing, but almost too amazing for them to feel like a silly tower game I had already enjoyed before, but to the builders, I hope they know of their impeccable abilities that are going to be displayed here.
I’m just hoping they don’t overuse the style to death (oh wait they already have)

first reactions:
*Tower of Arrantly Bodeful Cavern Depths:* honestly yeah i agree its one of the weaker picks. playing through it was disappointing, since the beginning was fun and wacky, but soon the tower turned boring due to its sheer repetition. its good though, consistent quality and creativity, but the purist gameplay is nothing i havent seen before, and i mostly agree with your opinion of it being the worst of the best.
*Tower of Big Blocky Beefy Buttons:* havent played it before, so i have nothing to say about your placement, but i like the design :D
*Tower of Falling Up:* another tower i havent played; no opinions from me
*Citadel of Increasing Claustrophobia:* i got bored playing it with noclip, but i gotta admit the style it goes for is really unique, and im a big fan of the guys who made it
*Tower of Dusk to Dawn:* it is at this moment that i realize most of these lower-tier towers are ones where i initially joined the place for them, then left out of disinterest. odd.
*Tower of Empty Meaningless Patterns:* i just love when towers, or any level in a skill-based game, for that matter, are notable for their absurdly wacky mood or design style, but still choose to have high-end difficulty gameplay, and still fun. also the music choice bops i love breakcore. WE LOVE HEKSI and also tomaj07 and lawnslayer love you sc tower builders

on the contrary, builders like us going up against the really good towers, like ToHR or ToNN, have a really difficult time. But, I guess that's what happens when the competition is survival of the fittest.

it seems like all zone 9 towers are really good so far except for tovite, i played it and absolutely hated it with all passion
The only towers I would have liked to see in the zone were the ToTHT (but yes, ToPB deserved it more) and the Tower of Shadowed Nexus (that made me very sad)
Tower of Mind Games should've gotten in imo
Super mediocre compared to the other rems in this zone tbh. I find the gameplay pretty messy and cluttered, and there’s nothing that special about it.

It really isn’t the perfect area, while there is good towers the issue I have is the fact of how overused the gp style is, all these towers feel so similar to zone 7-8 towers and the only tower I’ve really liked is ToHR

Personally I feel like zone 9 is fine but they still use the same style of GP and it just feels so repetitive now, I can at least spare ToHR cause man that tower is really good, but something like ToEMP is like bad

I’ve seen you complain about this before and I don’t understand where you’re coming from. Every tower has its own unique gameplay, even if they use the same client objects, they all have their own unique way of dragging out the style.
If you mean specifically tech gameplay with double jumps and zip lines, there are plenty of towers without that style in this zone: CoIC, ToBBBB, ToFU, ToWWW, ToNN, ToPB, ToDTD, ToLS.

@@maximeleninja4029 If you’re talking about on the wiki, that might have just been a joke because the wiki mods tend to do a little bit of trolling. Or you might have seen it on somebody’s zone 9 predictions list rather than confirmed towers. But yeah no ToDTD was always the confirmed tower for the Difficult slot

citadel being so low is a crime (In my personal opinion)
also tohr is really bad for me because 1. the new gameplay does not blend in at all 2. it has a few bugs although not many 3. the mechanics are unique but the gp can be really boring and sometimes jank

reverse sections they are extremely hard as you cannot walk straight on mobile but on pc you can easily walm straight by just holding a key

Honestly, z9 is amazing. But the problem is that every tower feels very similar. It is this repeating generic modern style used in z7-z8 where every tower tries too hard to have a creative frame or concept. Focusing too much on creativity and design, rather than gameplay.
But yeah i have to admit ppl are just crying because their favourite towers didnt get in. (Why didnt ToPTW get in broooo 😭😭😭😭😭🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😤😤😤😤😤👿👿👿👿)
every tower feeling very similar is probably the exact opposite of the case. you have to also take into perspective that most builders are limited to the same client objects. like just because you see one zipline with rope distance zero doesnt mean the tower is generic.
