RR13 is my absolute favorite bourbon. I tried it at a bar and have spent the last year trying to get one at a reasonable price. I finally got it last month and it has not disappointed.
I was happy I was able to get a bottle as well. It certainly surprised me and each time I have it. I like it more and more.
RR10 is one of my favorites! For the price you can't beat it. I have been trying to find the 13.
I lucked into both bottles I have/had. I got one in a lottery from Total Wind and another was part of a bundle that was just put out as I walked into the store at Trevor's Liquor. I donated one bottle to Stuff and Whiskey charity event. I hope you get one soon. Cheers!
Nice selections! Mine are RR13yr, Knob Creek 18yr, Sam Houston 14, Calumet 16, Hardin’s Creek Clermont, Jacob’s Pardon 18yr, Dickel 15yr, and a couple of non bourbons Redbreast 21yr and Crown Royal 18yr
It's crazy, but I have yet to try Dickel. Not sure why, but it's not on my radar. 🤔

I need to hunt down some RR. Also, eye droppers are next level whisky nerding. Or... maybe mini-boss level.
I’m a big WT guy but the RR13 is at my cap for what I’m paying for alcohol. I did just get four bottles from seelbach but again I got four so yes the total is over 150 but it isn’t one bottle. Just can’t see paying over that regardless of how good it is. And in my area it’s a allocated bottle so if you want one you have to camp and I’m not that guy. Will be interesting to see how far that RR13 goes.
There are some heavy hitters in the finals so we will see. My last flight will be my top double oak bottles and then it's on to the finals.
I heard that one of the reasons there is not much high aged bourbon is its hot in america compared to Scotland so the angels share effect is more.
One more thing is some people think the older the whiskey its better but thats not the truth imo. There is a sweet spot for every type of whiskey generally between 8 and 16 years and thats it. 21 years and beyond is just for collecting i believe not that i ve been drinking 50 years old whiskes everyday its just my observation.
I agree. Just because it's old does not make it better. There is definitely a sweet stop for me in bourbon, scotch and Irish whiskey. I think it's around 8-12 years.

Nice line up! For the most part I think I would choose the same, but with the possibility that RGR and RR13 would flip positions for me.

I don’t think I have any bourbon older than 13. My list would include Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged, RR 13, Baker’s 13. Oh I do have Calumet 15, but don’t really enjoy it. I love Knob Creek 12. I might have to look for an older KC…. I guess the ECBP C923 would count, as well, with its older age statement.
I'm bummed I missed out on the MM Cellar Aged. If it comes out again in 2024 I'll try and get it.
I believe it's supposed to be an annual release. I hunted for it for months. Even went to the distillery and still got shut out. Then earlier this month I got one in our county lottery. At $150, though, I think it's a little more expensive than it should be, but it is delicious.@@whiskeyisajourney

Is your RR13 batch 5? Haven’t tried that one but every other release has been incredible.
If batch 5 is the 2023 release then yes. That's my batch. I'm going to be sad when this bottle is gone.
Those bourbons are really hard find around here i wish i was born an american.
