Baizhu's really comfy and helps Furina's HP drain feel irrelevant, yay 🐍 Bonus note about ER - you may sometimes need more than mentioned (~225+) but generally I highly recommend running weapons like Prototype Amber/Jadefall/Favonious & using 2 skills per rotation if possible to greatly decrease your ER needs.
I've been thinking about running a team with Cyno, Nahida, Furina, and Baizhu in it, and I was wondering if that was a good team comp. I really want to have a Cyno team, so I was wondering if this was optimal.
I grabbed Baizhu right away on his first run. Kokomi taught us that 5-star healers usually have the potential to add more value than just healing, so I disregarded the reviews and pulled for him. He's been a great fit for a lot of my teams, and now Furina just takes him over the top.
Furina has been one of the most godly units to pull for so far. She singlehandedly made all healing supports more viable. Even freaking Barbara of all people has become more useful for new players who pulled furina and literally have nobody. Lil miss barbruh can help them out 😅.
Mihoyo finally releasing characters with interesting and unique kits that make formerly unviable characters viable without making already viable characters irrelevant. Furina is great.

@@Ostrid1 New player here! Got Furina after I lost 50/50 for Wriothesley (I got Jean). She has carried me through so much content already. I run her with Xiangling, my dps, Jean and Thoma. I haven't built her correctly yet and her pets can hit for 20k!
Did the same thing. I pulled for Baizhu on his first run, and he has since made my Dendro teams super easy to run. He give so much flexibility to team building because I can instantly slot him on teams that need Dendro but Nahida is also needed on the other side. I used to think I would regret pulling for him, but I never did. He is 100% one of my most used units today, even replacing Zhongli for most teams.
I got Baizhu when he first released and I was worried he wasn’t going to be what everyone thought he was going to be, however I’m glad now that I got Furina to work with him.
IMO the best part about Baizhu is that you’re never really worried about actually needing to heal your team actively because he naturally heals the entire party and keeps them topped up as you do your rotations. It’s extremely effortless and hassle free unlike say Yaoyao wherein you commonly use her burst as a “panic button” in case your party’s hp is low because her healing on her skill is pretty underwhelming.
Hi! Can you help me out? Should I pull for Baizhu or C1 Furina? My team consists of Neuvillette, Furina, Fischl, and Yaoyao. The only healers I have arw Yaoyao, Bennett, and Barbara. I'm guaranteed next pull, so I don't know which one to use. Should I just build my Yaoyao (The only problem I have with her is that she needs to be on field during her burst to heal the whole party). She's currently level 70 with Ivl 4 talents. Should I just build her instead of getting Baizhu so I can get C1 Furina? Thank you
@@beachyjon5798C1 is a good damage buff for Furina but IMO Baizhu is a better QOL upgrade over Yaoyao since not only does he provide team wide healing on his E, he also provides interruption resistance (Yaoyao does not provide) which C0 Neuvillette greatly benefits from. Using Baizhu over Yaoyao in your comp is a night and day difference. (Baizhu also doesn’t eat up precious field time away from your Neuvillette unlike Yaoyao during her burst)

I wasn't planning on pulling for another 5 Star for a while as soon as I got Furina, but after playing around with the healers I had, I noticed how much having someone like Baizhu on my account would really benefit me. I'm so I happy I actually won my 50/50 and got him. I have him at level 60/70 right now, but already so far, he's been such a comfy useful character. He's definitely not a "broken" unit, but the quality of life he brings is so nice.
Isn't like getting c2 furina much better than pulling baizhu. I don't see myself playing as many comps with baizhu anyways other than in tandem with Furina, where as Furina at c2 can be palyed in many other teams?
I'm glad that Baizhu finally has time to shine. He has always been underrated since his release. Many people, even my friend, said that he is replacable with Yao Yao (theoretically true), but he brings so much comfort and smooth gameplay experience outside of side-grade healing. He's not my main or my favorite character but I want him to get more credit for being a very comfortable and reliable unit like Zhongli
I don't think he's ever been underrated. A lot of people saw his potential just from the leaks, but now it's just even more obvious with Furina being here. Baizhu and Yao Yao aren't even that comparable either, the only similarity is that they're both dendro healers. Unlike Yao Yao, Baizhu provides shield protection, higher healing scalings and a team damage bonus that scales on his HP. Not to mention that Baizhu provides team healing with his skill (compared to Yao Yao's single target) and his burst works off-field while Yao Yao's doesn't.
Baizhu has always felt top tier to me since 3.6, he brought so much comfort to my dendro teams and carried many people through the consecrated beast abyss that even zhongli struggled getting teams through. Now that Furina is here I feel comfortable saying he’s the best healer/sustainer in the game paired with her, he just makes her rotation so much smoother and caps her fan fair easily. Definitely think hoyo had Furina in mind when designing his kit
Agreed! The only other healer that comes CLOSE to his synergy with Furina has been Jean. She really only falls behind because there are better Anemo characters than her and Dendro synergizes amazingly with Furina.
Baizhu really got the short end of the stick when he first came out. Star Rail picked up some rapid attention, and out of all the healers, he felt like the least impressive. Only those that pulled for him were those that knew of him long before Dendro was a thing. I’m glad I got him when he first came out because I feel like I was one of the few that really thought he was strong. Sure he shield was weak, but his heals, I never saw high numbers like his before. And since Furina is out now and he works even better, I’m glad to see he’s starting to get the love he should have gotten before. May not be the best option still, but I feel like he’s getting the love Hoyoverse was hoping he’d get in the beginning. I’m proud to use him still 😢
When I saw Baizhu, I was like "So this is HP scaling Dendro Catalyst User who can heal...sounds like he will be perfect for my second Dendro team with Nahida staying in my first team"
I’ve been a baizhu healer main since he came out. He’s just so much faster and heals more than the others I have, so I use him all the time and with almost all my teams. I’m so glad he works well with Furina since I love both of them!
Baizhu has always found his place in my teams that need both a healer and some form of dendro application. He was severely misunderstood, but that's just how it is with every sustain unit in Genshin, huh?
I don't think it's quite fair to say "misunderstood" as nobody really has the power to look into the future of when they will be viable. There are certainly some doomposters, no doubt, but most people judge a character's value on what they offer at that point in time. This always changes, and the ones who should be ridiculed are the ones that make it their entire personality to shit on a character when they aren't presently viable
He was not severely misunderstood, his power level was understood correctly on release. A character cannot and should not be rated based on future potential. Baizhu was definitely worse on release, and people correctly assessed him then.
@@alexr1318 True, nobody has the power to look into the future, but it's such a common occurrence by now that sustain units, particularly premium 5 star ones will always perform better as time goes by. Kokomi's case was literally the basis for this yet people still took their time to doompost and just underrate a character in general. That's what I don't get with this community. It's like no one bothered to learn of a unit's potential capability. We've all established that meta changes as the patch goes on but everyone loves to doompost a sustain unit.

During his beta, I knew he would find a solid place in teams just because of the fact he can provide SO much in one kit. That is so invaluable. When a character can provide stagger res, application, and OP healing on top of all that, that's when you're supposed to understand that it's a good character.

Had Baizhu since his release - he has never left my dendro teams since. Such a good character. Super easy to build, with a craftable free weapon being as good as his signature.
im very happy that i pulled for baizhu today, tho im not very sure why he is using a sword and his snake turned into an orbiting ice ball, but the healing is really good. really happy with my baizhu so far 🥰
Sidenote to his second constellation from a Baizhu main: His Explorer Talent as well as 2nd Con are especially good in Fontaine exploration, because its access to healing underwater, where you cant use your healers abilities normally. Also at 2nd con his Dendro application is above avarage to really good and his healing (also with 1st con) for Furina especially gets really good. So if you want to go for constellations C2 is really great, increases QoL and is unreplaceable in Fontaine exploration (apart from maybe dehyas passive healing). Thx for reading ^^
He even creates one of Neuvillette's best teams.. with Neuvillette, Furina, Baizhu, and anemo shredder.. he easily solves Neuvillette's and Furina's problems as he gives team heals and shield..
Not saying that Baizhu isn't great in that comp, but if you pulled for Furina then you might have Charlotte. She is also a great healer for that team! If you get her C1 then she will give you some healing overtime as well which negates Furina's HP drain for a few seconds. It just depends on your preference I think. If you want more damage via bloom, or if you like freezing the enemies.
@@kf5753 Charlotte shines more with Wriothesley-Furina team or any Wrio comps in general. Baizhu and Jean are still the best choices for Furina's healer slot.
Wouldn't Jean be better as she's both a healer and an anemo shredder and then you can use someone else in the last slot for comfort? (Like zhongli, whose shield is much stronger)
@@katharsis101-Kazuha is much more comfortable for a Neuvillette team in my experience. Zhongli isn’t guaranteed to hydro crystallize, and since you are already sacrificing a draconic stack to have Furina he needs something more reliable for a hydro reaction.

I've been waiting for Baizhu ever since 1.0 patch days when he was introduced. got him to C2 will all I've saved up, and he's on almost every dendro team I can make, happy to see him shining even more
@@luminous3558that's not giving him enough credit. he's a solid healer and i don't think any other does so much in a single kit as him interruption res, dendro app, buffing and not to mention large amount of healing for all party members only with his E he's "replaceable" but he's exceptionally good at the things he does and brings a lot of comfort for ur team
@@luminous3558no they do say he’s bad, it’s so easy to say that when people see a healer with elemental application that’s outclassed. I mean Kokomi was hydro and an off fielder who could apply hydro and people thought she was *bad* not just, outclassed or underwhelming but like an actually bad character.
Harmacist Baizhu main since day 0 here. I'm so SO happy he's finally recognized and appreciated by the community. On release a lot of people called him Yaoyao sidegrade (which even before Furina was objectively not true), but now he finally gets to shine and be his best self! Loved him since 1.0, will continue loving him till the end 💚
I took a almost year long break from genshin, stopped playing when I pulled for Yelan ( 6/2022 ) and came back just to pull for baizhu ( 5/2023 ) hes been so fun to play the last few months but now with furina neuvillette and kuki its become my favorite team to play
I think the premiere use of Baizhu now is the the Neuvillette, Furina and Kazuha team. Kazuha covers the lower dendro application and res reduction for us with VV swirls while Baizhu gives Neuvillette some much needed shielding to prevent interruption to his channeling. Plus with Ocean-hued appears to work with Neuvillette's massive healing to fill the overflow and get max pops easily. Not sure this is intended however.
Man, it's like you're making these guides for me. I had planned to pull for Baizhu over Furina as I really wanted another Dendro character and healer, but got lucky and got both him and Furina. Even had spare fates so pulled on the weapon banner for the first time ever and got his signature weapon so having an updated guide for Baizhu was EXACTLY what I was looking for these last days. Once I get around to farm for Furina's ascension materials I will definately try out the Alhaitham/Kuki/Furina/Baizhu team (over my current Alhaitham/Kuki/Xingqiu/Nahida) and see how the two compare (my current team is already really good and the one that carries me through the harder content, so if Furin+Baizhu can improve on that I'll be very happy!). Even have a pretty damn decent set of artifacts (four piece Deepwood) with all HP% and ~183% ER from substats alone so it's nice seeing I basically am already set up completely. I just hope I didn't use up all my good luck.
I got Baizhu's weapon trying to get Furina's sword and that made me pull for him. Got him early at 40 pulls That being said, I got Furina's sword 8 pulls after I got Baizhu's weapon so it all worked out in the end for me
I got Baizhu on the first banner realese and I really enjoy playing with him, he is my Nilou healer since I dont have Kokomi and works very well. glad with Furina now he gets even better!!
I just got Baizhu recently and furina put them together on a quick bloom team with Alhaitham and it has been the most fun team I have played in a while (besides 16:18)
Thanks for the guide! Baizhu is one of my favorite characters, and I got both him and his weapon when he was first released. It's great that he's finally getting his moment in the spotlight. Definitely going to use him with Furina as soon as I finish building her.
I never planned on pulling for him but after getting Furina, her team wide hp drain and her buff was definitely hard to sustain. And since I don't have Jean, Yao Yao or Kokomi, decided to go for him and honestly, best decision ever. His synergy with Furina is just so good! And he brings so much comfort to the team.
glad Baizhu is getting more notice! i grab him on his 1st run cause i usually don't like using child characters (the radish being an exception) because of their playstyle and sometimes clunkiness. i did give Yaoyao a chance for Yuegui but she just wasn't my style. Baizhu is comfy while keeping you alive without you having to think about it. xD

one thing about his burst is by overhealing the active character for ~15 seconds he will keep triggering furina's A1 passive and continuously keep everybody's HP way above 50% for furina to drain.
Ever since I pulled Baizhu during his release he's been a staple in so many of my teams, he is one of my most used characters and after getting Furina (won the 50/50) I now got his C2 (also won the 50/50). I use him so much that I feel like it was worth it to make him even more comfy to use. I actually use the clam set with him because I tend to use him with another character who already holds the dendro set or he is in a team where dendro damage doesn't matter. It's kind of funny because picking up a mint makes a bubble, too 😂
I skipped Baizhu first time around. I only pulled him this time because I failed the 50/50 on the weapon banner and got his signature weapon. So I built him... and OMG he's a healing machine! I massively underestimated just how good he is at team healing. I use him in a Neuvillette/Furina/Kazuha team and it honestly feels like I'm cheating. He has perfect synergy with Neuvillette and Furina. I can't recommend him and this setup more highly!
the point of the burst shields is to trigger the healing. they don't prevent the damage of the hits, but they accomplish the same effect by healing the damage dealt to you instead.
I worry for people who want Baizhu now that they have Furina and are going to "wait until his next banner." The sales ratio for him both runs are... veeeery low. And it's not surprising, people don't like to pull on healers, this is not the first time it's happened. But thinking of it from a business perspective, why would Hoyoverse continue to run a character that is just not raking in any cash at all? I think people may be waiting a very, veeeery long time for his next run, if they even graciously give another one.
Everyone who defended Baizhu and pulled him when he first ran: Dendro Daddy finally getting the recognition he deserves. What I like about Baizhu is he's good for more than just heals. Gives his own healing bonus, own Dendro Bonus damage, can heal you underwater, and the Dendro reaction buffing. Really balanced support that does a bit of everything and if you do get the matcha donut, you add in another buff. Very easy to build and versatile, there's no one absolute way to build or play him (EM build slaps) Good replacement for Nahida if you need a second Dendro support or don't have her. He's well balanced at C0. C1 helps with his energy issue and an extra heal is always nice. C2 just makes him absolutely busted (also works underwater). I was going to get Furina for Baizhu originally...but there's no point. If you know how to use him, he doesn't benefit much from her, but she benefits from him.

I just want to say that Baizhu's kit if focusing more not on Dendro specifically but on Burgeon and Hyperbloom as the highest support dmg he can provide is on those reactions. I would suggest more to put Baizhu on Kuki's Hyperbloom teams or Thoma's Burgeon teams. But knowing Burgeon, maybe on Pyro Archon Quest in 5.0 patches, we might get something better out of the Pyro comps.
Something that it is worth mentioning is that baizhu aoe heals comes from his E, his the only one that does that, so its a lot easier to top up your characters HP. Abother thing that comes from personal experience is that hes really strong and super easy to build, protoype amber, ER sands, 50k and you are done.
Very excited to see this. Baizhu like kokomi has shown mean that 5 star healers get better and stronger later in game. He was one of my first characters I really like seeing when playing genshin before his release. So I glad I got him on his first banner.

Also on Furina you should NOT underestimate Sac Frags!!! The EM kinda gets lost unless it's in bloom teams, but with full HP mainstats and some sub stats - in a double hydro furina team - he can get 40-48k HP WITH sac frags and give you more instant healing to max out Furina Ult I run EM Raiden-XQ-Furina-C2 Baizhu on fielder with sac frags and i have 48K hp and 3 skills on the first rotation 2 on the second rotation easily capping Furina

Right? Like have you tried using Yaoyao with Alhaitham pre-Baizhu/Kirara release? Absolute nightmare to play. Man is muscular yet he flies off into space at the slightest smack. No shields for Alhaitham is atrocious. Ofc Zhongli is better but a Dendro defensive unit batteries more.

Your videos are ADHD enough to work right in sync with my brain, and keep me listening - I further understand effects of different choices in the game, and can keep myself working on 3 or 4 characters at a time, as opposed to 50. I got Baizhu on his first banner just for Yae and Cyno aggravate hoping for him to get an indirect buff with Fontaine. Now he is insane for Furina for both overworld and abyss!!
I got furina and then got baizhu to c2 and it is a literal lifesaver. You get dendro application and party wide healing completely off field which helps furina build stacks and keeps the team healthy even during her skill drain. Definitely worth losing pity twice for it.

After contemplating for so long on whether to skip him and pull for Clorinde or pull for Baizhu cuz he seems like a very convenient healer I decided to watch some guides to help me decide and I've finally bitten the bullet. I pulled baihzu on my 3rd wish on his banner. Then lost 50/50 to Diluc on Furina banner on 2nd wish. Running Baihzu with Yelan, Xingqiu, and a flex. Sometimes Thoma or Xiangling, sometimes Rosaria. Working very well.

It’s a good team as long as you can keep Cyno safe. You might have to build more er on Cyno so you could swap out of him before his burst ends and still be able to burst next rotation. Baizhu is really good with Cyno without Furina, but she might make the team less forgiving with her hp drain. I’d suggest playing around with it yourself to see if you can play it without another defensive unit
Might be his best team. Expensive, but it sounds awesome. Only have to work out the rotations, but compared to previous teams with Yelan/Xingqiu, Furina's 30s summons might make Cyno's rotation comfortable af. She enables Baizhu to go right before Cyno and ensure he gets full duration of the burst.

I just got Baizhu or so after getting Furina with my guaranteed on the first day. I was going for Charlotte as I was pretty low pity with no hopes to get him(I think it was 45 pity and still no Charlotte XD) I was looking for a good video on how to build him and what weapon to use and this video came out, it was perfectly timed! I'm kinda happy I have prototype Amber R5 and casually had pretty good deep wood artifacts for him( I was farming in that domain for Al Haitham) so I mostly just need to lv up everything including him! I was planning to use him with Al Haitham, Furina and Yae Miko, and seeing a team pretty similar in the video, made me really happy tbh Great video explanation, it was pretty detailed!
This came at a perfect time. I decided to try for Baizhu and got him, and really enjoying to use him in many teams. Looking forward to when I get him fullt huikt so I can use him in my Alhaitham and Cyno teams
I’m glad that I’ve got Baizhu and purposely his C1 solely for 2 Eskill into Burst rotation during his release. And people underestimated his value whether on Dendro related teams or a simple team wide on demand healer. As a sucker for Utility characters, him, Kokomi, Bennett and Zhongli are my well invested chars. Coz they don’t just heal/shield but also buffs your team.

Should also be mentioned that Baizhu enables an, albeit premium, really strong Nilou team of Nilou - Nahida - Baizhu - Ayato. It's the comfiest out of all the Nilou team variations I've tried thus far, almost afk like.

IMO the best part about Baizhu is that you’re never really worried about actually needing to heal your team actively because he naturally heals the entire party and keeps them topped up as you do your rotations. It’s extremely effortless and hassle free unlike say Yaoyao wherein you commonly use her burst as a “panic button” in case your party’s hp is low because her healing on her skill is pretty underwhelming.
Hi! Can you help me out? Should I pull for Baizhu or C1 Furina? My team consists of Neuvillette, Furina, Fischl, and Yaoyao. The only healers I have arw Yaoyao, Bennett, and Barbara. I'm guaranteed next pull, so I don't know which one to use. Should I just build my Yaoyao (The only problem I have with her is that she needs to be on field during her burst to heal the whole party). She's currently level 70 with Ivl 4 talents. Should I just build her instead of getting Baizhu so I can get C1 Furina? Thank you

@@beachyjon5798C1 is a good damage buff for Furina but IMO Baizhu is a better QOL upgrade over Yaoyao since not only does he provide team wide healing on his E, he also provides interruption resistance (Yaoyao does not provide) which C0 Neuvillette greatly benefits from. Using Baizhu over Yaoyao in your comp is a night and day difference. (Baizhu also doesn’t eat up precious field time away from your Neuvillette unlike Yaoyao during her burst)

I wasn't planning on pulling for another 5 Star for a while as soon as I got Furina, but after playing around with the healers I had, I noticed how much having someone like Baizhu on my account would really benefit me. I'm so I happy I actually won my 50/50 and got him. I have him at level 60/70 right now, but already so far, he's been such a comfy useful character. He's definitely not a "broken" unit, but the quality of life he brings is so nice.

I've been using him since his release, he's definitely a good healer. Kept my Keqing alive better at times than Kokomi attempting to keep Ayaka alive.
I'm glad that Baizhu finally has time to shine. He has always been underrated since his release. Many people, even my friend, said that he is replacable with Yao Yao (theoretically true), but he brings so much comfort and smooth gameplay experience outside of side-grade healing. He's not my main or my favorite character but I want him to get more credit for being a very comfortable and reliable unit like Zhongli
I don't think he's ever been underrated. A lot of people saw his potential just from the leaks, but now it's just even more obvious with Furina being here.
Baizhu and Yao Yao aren't even that comparable either, the only similarity is that they're both dendro healers. Unlike Yao Yao, Baizhu provides shield protection, higher healing scalings and a team damage bonus that scales on his HP. Not to mention that Baizhu provides team healing with his skill (compared to Yao Yao's single target) and his burst works off-field while Yao Yao's doesn't.

Baizhu has always felt top tier to me since 3.6, he brought so much comfort to my dendro teams and carried many people through the consecrated beast abyss that even zhongli struggled getting teams through. Now that Furina is here I feel comfortable saying he’s the best healer/sustainer in the game paired with her, he just makes her rotation so much smoother and caps her fan fair easily. Definitely think hoyo had Furina in mind when designing his kit

Agreed! The only other healer that comes CLOSE to his synergy with Furina has been Jean. She really only falls behind because there are better Anemo characters than her and Dendro synergizes amazingly with Furina.
Baizhu really got the short end of the stick when he first came out. Star Rail picked up some rapid attention, and out of all the healers, he felt like the least impressive. Only those that pulled for him were those that knew of him long before Dendro was a thing. I’m glad I got him when he first came out because I feel like I was one of the few that really thought he was strong. Sure he shield was weak, but his heals, I never saw high numbers like his before. And since Furina is out now and he works even better, I’m glad to see he’s starting to get the love he should have gotten before. May not be the best option still, but I feel like he’s getting the love Hoyoverse was hoping he’d get in the beginning. I’m proud to use him still 😢
When I saw Baizhu, I was like "So this is HP scaling Dendro Catalyst User who can heal...sounds like he will be perfect for my second Dendro team with Nahida staying in my first team"
I’ve been a baizhu healer main since he came out. He’s just so much faster and heals more than the others I have, so I use him all the time and with almost all my teams. I’m so glad he works well with Furina since I love both of them!

He's honestly the best healer in the game. He's so easy to use and naturally stops your team from dying, even just when exploring.
Baizhu has always found his place in my teams that need both a healer and some form of dendro application. He was severely misunderstood, but that's just how it is with every sustain unit in Genshin, huh?
Whenever hoyo releases a "pure" healer/shielder most of the community massively underrate them.
I don't think it's quite fair to say "misunderstood" as nobody really has the power to look into the future of when they will be viable. There are certainly some doomposters, no doubt, but most people judge a character's value on what they offer at that point in time. This always changes, and the ones who should be ridiculed are the ones that make it their entire personality to shit on a character when they aren't presently viable
He was not severely misunderstood, his power level was understood correctly on release. A character cannot and should not be rated based on future potential. Baizhu was definitely worse on release, and people correctly assessed him then.
@@alexr1318 True, nobody has the power to look into the future, but it's such a common occurrence by now that sustain units, particularly premium 5 star ones will always perform better as time goes by. Kokomi's case was literally the basis for this yet people still took their time to doompost and just underrate a character in general. That's what I don't get with this community. It's like no one bothered to learn of a unit's potential capability. We've all established that meta changes as the patch goes on but everyone loves to doompost a sustain unit.

During his beta, I knew he would find a solid place in teams just because of the fact he can provide SO much in one kit. That is so invaluable. When a character can provide stagger res, application, and OP healing on top of all that, that's when you're supposed to understand that it's a good character.

Had Baizhu since his release - he has never left my dendro teams since. Such a good character.
Super easy to build, with a craftable free weapon being as good as his signature.
im very happy that i pulled for baizhu today, tho im not very sure why he is using a sword and his snake turned into an orbiting ice ball, but the healing is really good. really happy with my baizhu so far 🥰

I got him to C6 and got a C0 Furina so this guide is what I needed to make them work together 😊
Sidenote to his second constellation from a Baizhu main: His Explorer Talent as well as 2nd Con are especially good in Fontaine exploration, because its access to healing underwater, where you cant use your healers abilities normally.
Also at 2nd con his Dendro application is above avarage to really good and his healing (also with 1st con) for Furina especially gets really good.
So if you want to go for constellations C2 is really great, increases QoL and is unreplaceable in Fontaine exploration (apart from maybe dehyas passive healing).

He even creates one of Neuvillette's best teams.. with Neuvillette, Furina, Baizhu, and anemo shredder.. he easily solves Neuvillette's and Furina's problems as he gives team heals and shield..
Not saying that Baizhu isn't great in that comp, but if you pulled for Furina then you might have Charlotte. She is also a great healer for that team! If you get her C1 then she will give you some healing overtime as well which negates Furina's HP drain for a few seconds. It just depends on your preference I think. If you want more damage via bloom, or if you like freezing the enemies.
@@kf5753 Charlotte shines more with Wriothesley-Furina team or any Wrio comps in general. Baizhu and Jean are still the best choices for Furina's healer slot.
Wouldn't Jean be better as she's both a healer and an anemo shredder and then you can use someone else in the last slot for comfort? (Like zhongli, whose shield is much stronger)
@@katharsis101-Kazuha is much more comfortable for a Neuvillette team in my experience. Zhongli isn’t guaranteed to hydro crystallize, and since you are already sacrificing a draconic stack to have Furina he needs something more reliable for a hydro reaction.

People never said he was bad, he is just replaceable af so its a pull if you like the character angle. You never need him.

Harmacist Baizhu main since day 0 here. I'm so SO happy he's finally recognized and appreciated by the community. On release a lot of people called him Yaoyao sidegrade (which even before Furina was objectively not true), but now he finally gets to shine and be his best self! Loved him since 1.0, will continue loving him till the end 💚
I took a almost year long break from genshin, stopped playing when I pulled for Yelan ( 6/2022 ) and came back just to pull for baizhu ( 5/2023 ) hes been so fun to play the last few months but now with furina neuvillette and kuki its become my favorite team to play

I got Baizhu when he was released and I LOVED him. Day 1 Furina release I put her together with him and they work SO GOOD together!!

I think the premiere use of Baizhu now is the the Neuvillette, Furina and Kazuha team. Kazuha covers the lower dendro application and res reduction for us with VV swirls while Baizhu gives Neuvillette some much needed shielding to prevent interruption to his channeling. Plus with Ocean-hued appears to work with Neuvillette's massive healing to fill the overflow and get max pops easily. Not sure this is intended however.

Man, it's like you're making these guides for me. I had planned to pull for Baizhu over Furina as I really wanted another Dendro character and healer, but got lucky and got both him and Furina. Even had spare fates so pulled on the weapon banner for the first time ever and got his signature weapon so having an updated guide for Baizhu was EXACTLY what I was looking for these last days. Once I get around to farm for Furina's ascension materials I will definately try out the Alhaitham/Kuki/Furina/Baizhu team (over my current Alhaitham/Kuki/Xingqiu/Nahida) and see how the two compare (my current team is already really good and the one that carries me through the harder content, so if Furin+Baizhu can improve on that I'll be very happy!).
Even have a pretty damn decent set of artifacts (four piece Deepwood) with all HP% and ~183% ER from substats alone so it's nice seeing I basically am already set up completely.
I just hope I didn't use up all my good luck.
I got Baizhu's weapon trying to get Furina's sword and that made me pull for him. Got him early at 40 pulls
That being said, I got Furina's sword 8 pulls after I got Baizhu's weapon so it all worked out in the end for me

I got Baizhu on the first banner realese and I really enjoy playing with him, he is my Nilou healer since I dont have Kokomi and works very well. glad with Furina now he gets even better!!
I just got Baizhu recently and furina put them together on a quick bloom team with Alhaitham and it has been the most fun team I have played in a while (besides 16:18)

I never planned on pulling for him but after getting Furina, her team wide hp drain and her buff was definitely hard to sustain. And since I don't have Jean, Yao Yao or Kokomi, decided to go for him and honestly, best decision ever. His synergy with Furina is just so good! And he brings so much comfort to the team.
Baizhu is kinda underrated tbh, shield heal deal dmg, yes u can call him diona but a 15 pro max one
glad Baizhu is getting more notice! i grab him on his 1st run cause i usually don't like using child characters (the radish being an exception) because of their playstyle and sometimes clunkiness. i did give Yaoyao a chance for Yuegui but she just wasn't my style. Baizhu is comfy while keeping you alive without you having to think about it. xD

one thing about his burst is by overhealing the active character for ~15 seconds he will keep triggering furina's A1 passive and continuously keep everybody's HP way above 50% for furina to drain.
Baizhu's shields are really good in nilou teams due to 250% efficiency for dendro hits
I got him on first release. I've used him for Hyperbloom and aggravate teams. No regrets.
Ever since I pulled Baizhu during his release he's been a staple in so many of my teams, he is one of my most used characters and after getting Furina (won the 50/50) I now got his C2 (also won the 50/50). I use him so much that I feel like it was worth it to make him even more comfy to use.
I actually use the clam set with him because I tend to use him with another character who already holds the dendro set or he is in a team where dendro damage doesn't matter. It's kind of funny because picking up a mint makes a bubble, too 😂
I skipped Baizhu first time around.
I only pulled him this time because I failed the 50/50 on the weapon banner and got his signature weapon.
So I built him... and OMG he's a healing machine!
I massively underestimated just how good he is at team healing. I use him in a Neuvillette/Furina/Kazuha team and it honestly feels like I'm cheating.
He has perfect synergy with Neuvillette and Furina. I can't recommend him and this setup more highly!
the point of the burst shields is to trigger the healing. they don't prevent the damage of the hits, but they accomplish the same effect by healing the damage dealt to you instead.
I worry for people who want Baizhu now that they have Furina and are going to "wait until his next banner." The sales ratio for him both runs are... veeeery low. And it's not surprising, people don't like to pull on healers, this is not the first time it's happened. But thinking of it from a business perspective, why would Hoyoverse continue to run a character that is just not raking in any cash at all? I think people may be waiting a very, veeeery long time for his next run, if they even graciously give another one.

Everyone who defended Baizhu and pulled him when he first ran: Dendro Daddy finally getting the recognition he deserves.
What I like about Baizhu is he's good for more than just heals. Gives his own healing bonus, own Dendro Bonus damage, can heal you underwater, and the Dendro reaction buffing. Really balanced support that does a bit of everything and if you do get the matcha donut, you add in another buff. Very easy to build and versatile, there's no one absolute way to build or play him (EM build slaps) Good replacement for Nahida if you need a second Dendro support or don't have her.
He's well balanced at C0. C1 helps with his energy issue and an extra heal is always nice. C2 just makes him absolutely busted (also works underwater).
I was going to get Furina for Baizhu originally...but there's no point. If you know how to use him, he doesn't benefit much from her, but she benefits from him.

I just want to say that Baizhu's kit if focusing more not on Dendro specifically but on Burgeon and Hyperbloom as the highest support dmg he can provide is on those reactions. I would suggest more to put Baizhu on Kuki's Hyperbloom teams or Thoma's Burgeon teams.
But knowing Burgeon, maybe on Pyro Archon Quest in 5.0 patches, we might get something better out of the Pyro comps.
Onfielder Burgeon and Hyperbloom triggers really shine with a Nahida+Baizhu combo.
Something that it is worth mentioning is that baizhu aoe heals comes from his E, his the only one that does that, so its a lot easier to top up your characters HP. Abother thing that comes from personal experience is that hes really strong and super easy to build, protoype amber, ER sands, 50k and you are done.

Very excited to see this. Baizhu like kokomi has shown mean that 5 star healers get better and stronger later in game. He was one of my first characters I really like seeing when playing genshin before his release. So I glad I got him on his first banner.

I've been obsessed with Baizhu since I first saw him in game over 2 years ago, so of course I saved and pulled his C2 during his first run. He already is essential in many of my teams and I'm so happy Furina adds even more value to my favourite man!
I have Baizhu for my Neuvilette team and it is great, when in coop it is a great duo for quick damage. It just make Neuvi a no brain DPS

Also on Furina you should NOT underestimate Sac Frags!!! The EM kinda gets lost unless it's in bloom teams, but with full HP mainstats and some sub stats - in a double hydro furina team - he can get 40-48k HP WITH sac frags and give you more instant healing to max out Furina Ult
I run EM Raiden-XQ-Furina-C2 Baizhu on fielder with sac frags and i have 48K hp and 3 skills on the first rotation 2 on the second rotation easily capping Furina
As someone who had him since his release it's great to see that now he's fr useful (thanks Furina), love his skills even with some small issues that I personally don't like
I wouldn't really say Baizhu's underused since he's been consistently doing well in the abyss usage rates ever since he came out.

If you sum up all the shields he gets while his burst is active, you'll see he gets a decent damage mitigation with it
It's nice but you heal quite a lot so it wouldn't matter much, his shield is very useful since you don't get thrown around by enemies like a paper

I got furina and then got baizhu to c2 and it is a literal lifesaver. You get dendro application and party wide healing completely off field which helps furina build stacks and keeps the team healthy even during her skill drain. Definitely worth losing pity twice for it.
That's it I'm pulling for him. After contemplating for so long on whether to skip him and pull for Clorinde or pull for Baizhu cuz he seems like a very convenient healer I decided to watch some guides to help me decide and I've finally bitten the bullet. Wish me luck cuz his banner is ending tomorrow.

I pulled baihzu on my 3rd wish on his banner. Then lost 50/50 to Diluc on Furina banner on 2nd wish. Running Baihzu with Yelan, Xingqiu, and a flex. Sometimes Thoma or Xiangling, sometimes Rosaria. Working very well.
Was thinking of pulling him with my non existent primos, from pulling Furina, I realised my Nahida already fulfil the Dendro role for my teams.
If I had Cyno, I’d for sure pull him and pair them together.

I've been thinking about running a team with Cyno, Nahida, Furina, and Baizhu in it, and I was wondering if that was a good team comp. I really want to have a Cyno team, so I was wondering if this was optimal.
It’s a good team as long as you can keep Cyno safe. You might have to build more er on Cyno so you could swap out of him before his burst ends and still be able to burst next rotation.
Baizhu is really good with Cyno without Furina, but she might make the team less forgiving with her hp drain. I’d suggest playing around with it yourself to see if you can play it without another defensive unit

Might be his best team. Expensive, but it sounds awesome. Only have to work out the rotations, but compared to previous teams with Yelan/Xingqiu, Furina's 30s summons might make Cyno's rotation comfortable af. She enables Baizhu to go right before Cyno and ensure he gets full duration of the burst.

He’s honestly so amazing, i love his gameplay, every little thing is so fun or smooth and useful + his voice is so nice so that’s also a bonus
I just got Baizhu or so after getting Furina with my guaranteed on the first day. I was going for Charlotte as I was pretty low pity with no hopes to get him(I think it was 45 pity and still no Charlotte XD) I was looking for a good video on how to build him and what weapon to use and this video came out, it was perfectly timed!
I'm kinda happy I have prototype Amber R5 and casually had pretty good deep wood artifacts for him( I was farming in that domain for Al Haitham) so I mostly just need to lv up everything including him!
I was planning to use him with Al Haitham, Furina and Yae Miko, and seeing a team pretty similar in the video, made me really happy tbh

This came at a perfect time. I decided to try for Baizhu and got him, and really enjoying to use him in many teams. Looking forward to when I get him fullt huikt so I can use him in my Alhaitham and Cyno teams

I’m glad that I’ve got Baizhu and purposely his C1 solely for 2 Eskill into Burst rotation during his release. And people underestimated his value whether on Dendro related teams or a simple team wide on demand healer.
As a sucker for Utility characters, him, Kokomi, Bennett and Zhongli are my well invested chars. Coz they don’t just heal/shield but also buffs your team.
i just got baizhu and i already have a bunch of 5 stars on the rack. gonna be a nice team with my baby furina who couldnt shine out in my teams due to her specific kit

Should also be mentioned that Baizhu enables an, albeit premium, really strong Nilou team of Nilou - Nahida - Baizhu - Ayato. It's the comfiest out of all the Nilou team variations I've tried thus far, almost afk like.
