Absolutely a great lesson and teacher. I’m returning to the piano now, and all of what was taught in this video is are same instructions my two piano teachers from the past taught me. Excellent teacher. Thanks !!!

You are the first and only person on the internet to start teaching this topic. Methods for reading the compound intervals between the bass clef and trouble cliff simultaneously has not been taught. More on this subject would be great. Exercises, drills, methods, etc, Thank you for a wonderful lesson.

Trying to learn piano on my own. Had started piano lessons but then a lot of things happened and I had to stop rather than frequently canceling the lessons. This is really my favorite channel for learning, as it’s very thorough 👍😁❤️ Thank you!!!

I'm several months into learning the piano so figured out a lot of this by accident, but this video would have been so useful earlier on as it boils down a lot of trial and error.

I wish I started way back when I was learning piano with a teacher like you. I'd be sooo advanced by now. Thanks Tim! You're a great teacher.

Do you teach singing lessons, or just reading and piano? Would you please recommend a good free site for reading and singing notes? Thank you in advance. And I love your lessons about reading notes..

All your videos are great but you so much of your demonstrations in the treble. A suggestion might be start some of your demonstrations with the bass with great detail as find many students say they have trouble reading bass clef. I always find many videos where they are teaching treble clef firs in great detail and the time they get to the bass clef it is dumbed down because they say it is the same concept thus learners so much more exposed to treble clef.

I will tell you this, the ROADMAP of self learning piano that you did was a GREAT tool! I’m the kind of person that NEEDS a syllabus type thing to tell me EXACTLY which aspects of piano to learn NEXT! I have the Alfred’s self teaching books so that’s a TREMENDOUS help too, but when you approach learning piano yourself and you don’t know WHAT order to take things in, it becomes a daunting task and it’s easy to get discouraged right from the very beginning. So thank you SO MUCH for that video!
What can I do when there’s a particular song I want to learn, as you have said synthesia is really a bad idea?

In the ledger line rules section you didn’t cover the bass clef lines and spaces rule, I am taking screenshots to help me memorize this important information.

i wish you could do a video about how to learn chords better. most, if not all, other videos just tell you what the chords are, but dont give any tips/exercises about how to learn them or “just play them over and over”
