My dude you literally saw in this clip that the bow were two swords glued at the hilt. And the arrow was an orbital nuke beacon. That's like saying a cake is a gun because it looks like one.

Proto-Gilgamesh can be essentially described as the middle ground between his Archer and Caster versions. Arrogant and full of himself, but also friendly and reasonable. The bromance between him, Arthur and Proto-Cu in spin-offs is hilarious cause they spend half the time shit talking each other when they're not all sharing a single brain cell.

I'd say the key difference between him and the other 2 is, while Archer Gil and Caster Gil, both in their own way, clearly feel like they have nothing to prove, Proto Gil's litteral goal is to prove he's the best servant.

@@ChaolaoFueChi On top of that, he may or may not have a Noble Phantasm that makes him basically immortal. Not with regen or invul, fate manipulation (pun intended) which guaranties he survives any conflict.

@@alihmaulaakmalthis one doesn’t use EA but enki he still has it I though he doesn’t use it because this version of Gilgamesh is when he went into adventures and fight strong opponents so he likes people that put up good battles and actually enjoys them
@@alxnz719 yeah from what iknow this Gil relly love fight and even in prototype story he relly want to prove himself as thestronggest ,and from i remember he has pasif skill or another NP that make him cannot die ,this happen during his fight with proto heracles ,in prototype Heracles has NP call promise of 12 victory this NP is basically a Hax that make heracless wins regadles of how strong his opponent so Proto Gill getting defeated 12 times by Proto Herlc but he cannot die, after getting defeated 12 time he finally abbel to kill heracles .And from fate prototype fragment sky silver ending Gil suppose to be fight Arash and Ozy alter.
And also in my personal opinion this Proto Gill is more dangerous then stay night because this Gill is more willing to go all out and not letting his arrogance blind his jugtmen .for who is strongger i dont relly know althought proto gill has better fight skill and close quater combat then stay night Gill,as Stay night Gill has better feat if we also use his FGO version

The Gilgamesh from Fate/Extra CCC is shown to have identical swords which makes up for the bow of Proto Gil main NP inside his Gate of Babylon, though it is unknown if they possess the same name or abilities.
He is always fated to flirt Saber.

I'm genuinely interested in why they never went back and made this story once the Fate franchise started getting bigger- sure we got the PREQUEL to Prototype, but that's like saying we got Zero without getting Stay Night

Proto gil had to playable in fgo also his design is sumerian accurate than the armored one cuz the current design is more like medieval
If his design was more accurate to his historical depictions than he'd look more like Iskandar (a big beefcake) than his current bishounen appearance.
Aside from that, I kinda like more melee combat style of Proto Gil. Feel like it's closer to his Epic self who wrestles with Enkidu and fights Humbaba with weapons.

@@kylepessell1350 Not necessarily. We do talk about Darth Sidious's design in the SW sequels, he keeps the same appearence but has different robes. And the even then, Proto Gil's design is different anyway (different armor, different hairstyle, different casual cloth).
One day the anime
We need it to do it the old Japanese way to make it happen. Actual physical paper as letters to send our regards and love for typemoon, and begging to make the prototype game of it, or the anime. Either one works. If only Nasu releases the other prototype characters in F/GO because Nasu's the one who made them originally unlike the other story writer/artist.
Now, we have basically a total of four characters in Fateverse that is related to the Great Flooding.
First is indeed Prototype Gilgamesh with his NP called as Enki, second we have Beast II Tiamat her theme with Chaos Tide & Sea of Life, third is Beast VI/S also known as The Whore of Babylon who summon the Crimson Great Flood with her NP, her juvenille form known as Draco is also creating a giant crimson Tsunami that is large enough to swallow the Tower of Babel erected by Nebuchadnezzar II (who is seen using Gilgamesh body in Fateverse thanks to Draco). The King who's responsible of changing the Babylonia city of Uruk that we know of to that of Babylon. Meanwhile Draco created said Tsunami by causing a massive gravitational shift on the Indian Ocean, unlike her adult self NP where the flooding comes out of nowhere.
Said mega Tsunami is implied to be somehow countered by Grand Rider Noah, which caused him to use much of his power as a Grand Servant to do so. Who's able to stop the mega Tsunami's advance from reaching further into the land.
Turns out, when Noah is revealed as the playable Servant in FGO Arcade, his NP can also summon the Great Flood. Not just the Ark. It looks like Noah basically countered Draco's flooding with his own, a power gifted from Abrahamic God. So yeah, Noah is the last (so far) and the fourth character in Fateverse who's able to perform the Great Flooding.

Nah Proto Gil NP is surviving. So when Heracles clashed with him both NPs worked. Gilgamesh survived but lost the battle. Heracles died but won against Gil

Arthur's Excalibur has more offensive power.
It's the same holy sword that took down the White Titan, Sefar calamity from outer space who previously also took down numerous Nasuverse True Gods, but in Fate Prototype world. While in the world of LB 6, there's pratically nobody who could stop Sefar's rampage since Excalibur haven't been forged during her invasion, which causing the planet to loose all of its land mass, leaving a wide ocean devoid of life behind. So the holy sword is meant to be OP. Though it's unclear how many seals of which Arthur has to release here in order to counter Proto Gil's Tsunami NP.
Also more information about Gil's NP. As a sword which can summon floods, it must be deployed for seven days as the volume in water increases each day after its activation. After the seventh day, it turns into the Surge of Utnapishtim from the Epic of Gilgamesh, the original Tsunami that gave shape to the deluge myth of Noah. So basically the flooding that we see here haven't reached its true potential of capable flooding the whole world since it's just barely deployed. Probably would've need all the seals of Excalibur to be unleashed in order for the sword to have enough power to evaporate all of that extra water.
Gil proto np looks like enkidu enuma elish but arrows. I guess ea sword cannon thing is the way to go.
Won't lie, I believe Archer Gilgamesh that just uses gate of Babylon to just fire projectiles like an archer is just holding back, because when we see Prototype actually use a bow, the display is immaculate!
Gilgamesh using a bow is both heretical and way better than canon Gilgamesh not using a bow.
