Jacob you may think you’re just a CZcamsr , But You’re A Explorer, a Filmographer, a escape from life for so so many people , Personally you’ve saved me on many dark nights when I was feeling low I’d pop on one of your videos
Indeed.
Thanks for everything, Jake.
@Lost Boi I agree with you 100 percent
Absolutely, 100% true!
Well said
Look at this beautiful community you created. Most of the world is never this kind to one another. Here we just have fun and travel together, I so much appreciate it!
There's no way in the world I'd be able to, despite wanting to, go to and see all of the places Jacob has taken us. I'm extremely grateful to get to see some of the strange and awesome things and places we've been.
Jacob we appreciate you being open with us because it makes us feel closer to you and to the content you do in your videos..
It's awesome to go back and watch how your beautiful daughter has grown and that little small piece where we can say, hey I remember that day with Anna.. To actually watch her grow up into the beautiful young lady see has became. To enjoy the amazing road trips you have been on, the amazing dark rides you have shared and the wonderful places you have shared. Thank you so very much. God bless you.. 💕
@@steverussel9842 I do not believe your name is Jacob.
You need to read everyone's comments if you have anything to say... Oh wait telling someone to calm down when no one was excited was probably your only sentence you know.
Thank you So much For sharing your ASD diagnosis. My 12 year old son is also. He watches you religiously (as do I). Your videos help him so much. My son's Autism is complex also but one thing I noticed is he is adamant about watching your videos in the order you post them. We love you Jacob and will always be 2 of your biggest fans!
@@navajowarrior5994 Any one can be diabetic and not know it, even skinny people. Three year olds have had liver transplants because of too much insulin. If you have a western diet like the rest of us, drink sodas, sugar is contained in everything processed, we will have fatty livers. As far as Autism, my nephew is on the spectrum and he has concentrated interests he gets totally absorbed in. Very
bright but socially introverted. Why accuse fraud when you don't know for sure?
What's that diagnosis mean? Genuine, kind hearted, creative, interesting, beautiful soul. Because that's really what you are! Love your channel. ❤️
You are so much more then a label. Don't let it define you. You are a gift to all of us.
@@navajowarrior5994 If you don't trust Jacob's motives why don't you watch videos that actually make you happy. Hate watching videos will not improve your day.
autism is not sometihng you have, its someting you are. so when you say "don't let it define you", autism is literally what you are. its what makes you who you are so it does define people.
obviously people are more than a label but being autistic effects a lot of your life and self, of course it defines you. being autistic isn't a bad thing.
@@rubenlikesrodents wasn't meant to be bad. I sympathize a lot with what Jacob. It's bad enough society tries to label us without us self labeling. Self acceptance is hard enough as it is...I love Jacob's content period.
@@willenewadkins i know you're not meaning it in a bad way. but labels can be extremely helpful and positive. for a lot of autistic people, the label of autistic is quite important for self acceptance, finding community, support and not feeling like you're alone in you're struggles.
Jacob I'm the Autism spectrum and it hasn't been an easy journey but its a very eye opening one! It's simply one aspect of who you are, not who you are totally!
Autism is extremely rare and the people claiming to have it are self-diagnosed seeking attention.
I'm so happy your dad is cancer free God is good
Jacob, I am so glad to hear that your stepfather is cancer free. You are so kind-hearted. I enjoy all of your content. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and many blessings through the next year! :)
Hi Jacob, I am autistic and I LOVE your videos. They are source of comfort for me and have been for years. I love hearing your commentary and perspective no matter where you travel, and am so thankful to be able to come alongside you in your adventures. I know it's terrifying to reveal such personal information on the internet, but I am so glad you are talking about it. Especially since our struggles tend to be invisible and not understood by so many people. Thank you so much 💕
As someone with autism, you have no idea how much I look up and am inspired by you. If I could only bring myself to travel the country and go to all these amazing places. Stay being you Jacob. Thank you so much and don’t let anyone every bring you down because you have a family on youtube who supports you 1000%. much love jacob
You're not Autistic.
I'm glad your step dad is cancer free that's wonderful news
So happy to hear about your stepfather! Always enjoy the time I spend on your channel
This coming up right now is such a coincidence. Was just diagnosed 3 weeks ago at age 24. It’s shocking, makes you question your past. It’s a term that I feel is an umbrella term that helps describe why I do things differently, or that my brain is just wired differently. It does make you feel a little better with a word! I really enjoy your videos and it is comforting to hear you open up about ASD. The true people will accept you and not view you differently. If people do not stick, they do not understand. I am around the 7 ft of snow! It’s mostly gone now. It’s very exciting to watch your videos around here!! (And everywhere of course!) You bring a lot of comfort and joy to people who would not be able to see such cool things otherwise. It is very good to hear cancer free!! Sending u all the good vibes
I’m waiting to be diagnosed. There is one Dr in Nebraska that can diagnose it in adults. There were 150 people waiting.
Isn’t everyone autistic now? It’s the new ADHD
@@Podcastforthewin Not everyone is on the spectrum. My doctor told me it is around 1 in 44 people. It’s not really the “new” anything either. More people are becoming diagnosed because of the advancement in knowledge of autism being a spectrum, and the misdiagnosis of ADHD in autistic children, because of the lack of knowledge of the spectrum before it really became an official thing in 2016. It is very interesting to read and learn about!
@@mundanemidwest1945 the wait is the worst part. I was expecting the experience to be not that pleasant, but once you get in with someone that specializes in it- it feels like a big weight off your shoulders! I hope you have a smooth experience.
@@crashbruno it was a joke. I’m guess you have a hard time understanding nuance.. must be a autism thing 😉
Merry Christmas to your step dad indeed!
You sound relieved and very happy now that you have learned more about yourself, are talking about it, and have some answers. You’ve taken us on many great adventures, I started watching you way back when you did your abandoned videos. I still go back at times and rewatch.
As you mentioned in the video THIS CHANGES NOTHING!
Love your content and your channel, keep doing what you love, we enjoy seeing that so much 🙌🏼😃
For real!
Jacob I think I have even more respect for you. I'm also autistic, I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome a ways and makes me feel better about what I do knowing someone like you is out there. Thank you.
You have AWE-tism. That means you're awesome! Don't be afraid, Jacob. You have an incredible life that God has gifted you with. Do you know how many people wish they could do what you do? You are blessed beyond measure, my friend.
Great comment, Kim! 👍
What a joke ..he doesn't have autism.
@@stephpom5373 What a joke....you don't know him, so how would you know.
@@creedysgirl what a joke, anyone with social anxiety is now autistic. Doesn't mean anything anymore. This guy travels the country and interact with lots of people and video records. There's no way he's autistic and not sure why he wants people to give him sympathy
What great news to hear of one who has fought and beaten cancer. Happy for your family.
Thank you for opening up to us and welcoming us into your life, Jacob. I have two nephews who are autistic and really love your videos. They aren’t able to go out much so we plan “Bagger Trips” and watch your videos! Brought us so much joy and hope you feel the same joy we do. Keep being you!! :)
It also makes me happy to know he is now happy with himself. The first thing is to come out and say I am different and I'm happy. That's what I did. I came out and said I was happy with what I am and being on the spectrum. A nutshell, I'm happy and I'm happy he's doing the same thing
Thats cool
@@navajowarrior5994how do you know ? Autism is on a wide spectrum!!!
@@lisapratt166 agree !!!
@@navajowarrior5994 you’re a disgrace to your name. Who are you to be going after a person.
Happy to hear about the cancer free diagnosis. That's a massive weight off your mind.
I appreciate your coming out, as finding out DOES bring peace. I found out as an adult, and now that I know, I can fly. I totally feel you, and it’s like being set free
I love that you sprinkle in these vlog videos. 😎 Stay warm and dry in Rochester!
Thanks for the update 🥰
I have an autistic son and an autistic granddaughter and they are quite different in many ways. A lot of sensory similarities but two entirely different personalities. You'll always be Jacob ... and there's only one of you. We love and support you 💜
Also, it's frustrating when people say we all have quirks or "everyone is a little bit autistic". Those people don't understand the real struggles that go with being neurodivergent. It's not a case of being quirky. For many it can be debilitating xx
i was diagnosed with autism at age 3 and i thought i was the only one to struggle with thinking of words to say when im in a conversation, but im glad i have someone to relate to
I’m also autistic myself too and have been living on my own with my kitty for about a few years and have a full time job. Over the years, from my personal experience, I’ve had a lot of great teachers, instructors, work and school related mentors who were incredibly patient, kind, supportive and understanding of me even through my emotional meltdowns, eccentricities and a lot of ups and downs of life itself. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression ever since my beloved grandma passed away 8 years ago and I’ve too, struggled with unemployment for years off and on as well as the pandemic in general, both of which were where I was at my lowest point in my life. I liked watching your videos. They’ve helped me to relax and take me out of my depression and anxiety during the pandemic and lockdown, especially the Christmas movie museums for a while. I know it’s not always easy being autistic but it has some benefits like great attention to detail, etc. There’s always going to be good times and bad times when dealing with life and the ups and downs of dealing and coping with your autism but as long as you keep trying your best to strive and improve yourself, chances are you’re going to surprise soooo many people.
Your autism does not define you as a person, it’s about who you really are in your heart that truly defines you as a person. Keep on striving, living and enjoying life to the fullest, and doing your best with whatever life throws at you. Don’t ever let those haters bring you down because you deserve all the happiness the world has to offer. May I wished you all the absolute very best in the near future and beyond. ☺️☺️☺️
Thank you Lord for the wonderful news for Jacob's step father!! So glad to hear that. Thank you for all the videos over the years. God bless you and yours. Hugs N love sent from Baltimore MD.

I view you as Brave for putting yourself out in public and being open. Kind for working as a CPS worker one of the hardest jobs out there. Honest, with who you are. A caring father. You are also respectful of others, funny, and intelligent. You have so many great personality traits. I feel we could all learn from you. You are going through a lot right now. Great 👍 supportive comments!
That’s pretty cool that you’re able to have thanksgiving with your kids and their mom gets to be there too, as a child of divorced parents I wish my family was more like that
I am dealing with cancer at the moment myself, so hearing about your step father being cancer free made me so happy!!! Your videos have brightened my nights and dark days. Thank you so much for all you do. Keep the videos coming. You and Jen are the best ❤
Coming back to this video again a few days later. Just had to say your honesty is appreciated. I’ve noticed since the Covid lock down I have tremendous social anxiety, even meeting up with dear friends. It’s such a hard feeling to push through, and the panic can be so real. Watching you and Jenny’s adventures as of late has really warmed my heart ❤️ you two are great together!!
Hi Jacob. My son was diagnosed this year at 15. It has prompted me to go for an assessment as a lot of traits are in me. I’m 52. Go Jacob! Be proud of who you are…an individual with a talent for film making! ❤️👍🏻
Im on the spectrum and i totally understand and support. Thank you for making amazing content!
It's been super windy the past few days and some rain too. I'll take it over snow lol
Jacob it's very brave of you to open up and talk about this on here. I think it has to help to be open and share this part of you. Keep living your best life and thank you for everything you do.
Wonderful news about your stepfather. Whatever your diagnosis, you are evidently high-functioning. It will be heartening for others in a similar position to see you living a wonderful (I hope) life 👍🏼
I was diagnosed with high functioning autism in 2018 and I turned 20 this year.
Same here. I'm also on the high functioning autistic spectrum. Well then again they caught me younger in the '90s when I was a kid. So yeah this is a good topic starter. Let's see but other people say in this comment
You’re a genuinely good dude, Jacob. We are all your family, I hope you always remember that
Thank you for feeling safe enough to trust us with this. I appreciate it and it really is nice to hear you talk about YOU. Your channel has introduced me to so many new places and I appreciate what you’ve done . Keep it up!
Jacob, ever since I started watching your CZcams channel I have been inspired to have fun whenever I go on a trip outside of my home state of Indiana, thank you
You’re in my top three favorite CZcamsrs! In my opinion, your material is the most unique that I have found! I can’t believe others have a passion for dark rides like I do! Lol. Keep doing what you’re doing and your personality is probably the number one reason why I watch you on a daily basis. You’re genuine and that’s why I watch! Thank u for the unique videos u do!!!!!!
Whatever the diagnosis, your fun, entertaining and a 30 min ray of sunshine 🌞 thank you 😊
Love love your videos. I dont know what else to say but we enjoy watching your adventures and enjoy your personality. Whatever got you to doing this channel we are glad you do it. You truly make a GOOD difference in our lives.
I have always felt that you are an inspiration, as well as a you tuber. Anyone able to take us all to the places they enjoy, and want to share them with your audience. Please continue, as your about my favorite face on tv. God bless you and yours.
Jacob just want you to know you are an amazing person don't ever change love your videos. Keep them coming and safe travels my friend. And I'd also like to say it's great news about your stepdad. Stay safe my friend.
Jacob, thanks for all you do to entertain and educate. Many new adventures I have had recently have started with watching one of your videos for reference. Have a great weekend and God bless.
You my friend and no different than anyone else - you are a human being showing us how fun it can be step outside your comfort zone. Because of you I am able to see it's okay to do these things it's not "weird" just go out and do it. For that I thank you Mr Carpet bagger!! I'd say your more of a super hero than anything else man thank you!
Hey Jacob! Im autistic too! Though I was too young to understand at the time. I do understand at the beginning it can feel like you become pigeonholed into a culture that you don’t think you relate to entirely. But it can make things fall into place and make so much sense. One of my special interests was animatronics and that actually brought me to your channel! For me personally this wont change how I see you alot but it makes me proud of you for letting us know this personal journey your going through and I wish you the best on this mental heath journey!! ❤ (p.s April is autism acceptance month maybe you could join an event around that time and meet someone of the diversity thats out there. and congratulations on your step dad for going into remission! :) )
ill leave with what my therapist said aswell:
“being autistic is seeing the forest while simultaneously being able to see all the trees, and it can be overwhelming but gives you an entirely unique perspective on the world.”
You're not Autistic

THANK YOU for all your hard work and dedication to keeping us, your fans, entertained. God Bless, safe travels and much love from Ohio! 🙏🙏
Your channel is unlike most others on this platform and thats why my partner and I enjoy watching you. You go on so many unique adventures, its a journey that lots of ppl would be envy of. I too am nuro divergent and I praise you for being brave and opening up to your audience about your struggles and/or differences.
You are such a down to earth person and seem to be very appreciative of all your fans. I enjoy your and Jens blog's. Honestly both seem like would be cool to hang out with. Keep doing what you do sir. I appreciate the vids and your talks it helps me as well I was diagnosed bipolar in 2003 and don't do a whole lot so I kinda live through you with your vlogs. Have a great rest of the week!!
Your content is awesome, Jacob! A lot of us love the experience of traveling with you all over the US. Your viewers, myself included, can see past the neurodivergence. I would've never guessed, honestly. From the outside looking in, you don't let it define you like a lot of people tend to do these days and that's really commendable! I can relate to being nervous about medical diagnoses. A few months ago I found out I had hypoglycemia linked protein deficiency. I was always angry around 10am/11am like clockwork with no reason why. Short fuse and all. All it took to correct this was a high protein snack with some sugar like cheese & peanut butter crackers.
Aww Jacob 🤗 thanks so much for letting us in on a little bit of life situations 💕 you're truly an amazing person with a mind full of wonders. I've been with u since your red suit case intro & ever since you've made my days so much brighter ✨️ I appreciate your kindness, your sense of humor & just how u look at the world. I think that is a wonderful diagnosis, because you are such an amazing person and you are so nice and I love your videos. It inspires me on new places to explore. I am not normal, nor do I want to be. I used to hate myself, because I knew I was different, but to see someone else who loves doing similar things to what I do, it makes me realize there is nothing wrong with being me, and I love my life now.
Jacob we love you the same, keep enjoying life brother
We love you Jacob!
Good on you, love and respect you man. You've helped many.

Thank you for sharing ur story.
Bringing it to light makes it easier for others with the same [as well as vastly different] issues to be able to address their own hurdles. Im not sure i worded that correctly, im not very good with words most of the time, but i try. Many big hugs.

I am so happy that you are starting to understand more about who you are. Autism is not a thing to shy away from. My son falls into what they called Asperger's Syndrome. We have nurtured and embraced his superpower. He recently played the Cowardly Lion in his high school's version of the Wizard of Oz. He was the star of the show. Why? Because he doesn't get scared of what people think, he sang every note perfectly, he knew everyone's lines, and made so many people happy in the cast and audience with his encouraging heart. Jacob, you knock it out of the park and make so many people happy. Embrace your superpower! My family and I love who you are! Keep up the great work!
Yes..! Autism is a superpower... It sucks sometimes but what superhero doesn't have struggles, what Marvel movie is without its "all is lost moment"..? I don't think that I would give up the strengths it gives me to be "normal"...
You've made my life better for sure. When I am stressed & anxious I like just digitally tagging along on these adventures. I couldn't afford to go to all these places & I appriciate the joy & the great job you do!
Great job explaining, Jacob. Thank you for being so open to sharing your thoughts.
Autism is beautiful....it means your creative, and passionate about your interests and that makes you a diamond in the rough!!!
Man I look forward to your every day. You are the man my friend.

Thank you, Jacob, for what you do. You're great!
Thank you so much for opening up, you are doing your part to destigmatize mental health struggles. Coming from a gal who was finally properly diagnosed with OCD. It's not at all what people think and see on tv and also has a wide spectrum. Much love and good vibes
Love seeing all this content highlighting my hometown.
Welcome to the Diagnosed as an Adult ASD Club! I was diagnosed at 40, I’m now 51, so have been adjusting to it for 11 years. There’s a great sense of relief in it, (I wasn’t “weird” on purpose!) and there’s a lot of sorrow (What could have I accomplished with just a little more time and patience from my teachers?). Be kind to yourself and when things get tough, Breathe! ❤
