Mom had 3 baby boys and 3 baby girls. Mom left with the 3 baby girls and I have not seen her since she left. But for some reason the 3 baby boys stayed behind. Mom is a friendly wild woodchuck. She will come over and sit next to me. But I have not seen her for like a week.
Oof, a week, huh? Sounds like something unfortunate may have befallen the rest of the family, or I reckon she'd have returned, by now. Anyway, good on you for keeping an eye on these guys, and giving them some broccoli. I'm glad they're on solid food already, or they never would've survived the week. I hope mom taught them enough about woodchucking that they can go out and chuck wood in their own. How on earth did you resist the urge to give them some pets n scratches? Judging by their demeanor, I think they would've loved it!
Bless you for keeping an eye on them. I also think that if Mom and the 3 sisters have not been seen in over a week, something bad has happened. 😢 Unfortunately, not everyone is as kind and gentle as you. Most people "dispose" of groundhogs on sight. 😢
