Bless your feet and your shirts! :)
Great stuff guys. I fish and do metal detecting. The polyester is perfect for me. I wouldn't wear anything else if I didn't have to. I came here to see if I could custom make my own shirts. Thanks for the inspiration.
REALLY ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS. PRACTICAL AND ENJOYABLE.
Mr. T thank you!! 😊👌🏽
Thanks a lot for this video! I have been searching for weeks on a proper tutorial. I'm just starting out as a beginner, and I originally wasn't sure if the all-over-print needed to be printed on a fabric first and then sewed to create a shirt, or if the design could just be printed directly on a pre-maid tee.
All the 21Ms I ever get are dull dingy almost. I find the Gildan performance to be softer and always a bright white. Sublivive is nice too. Ideal almost. They just crease up really bad. I do love the blackout tee. I sell a lot of them.
Appreciate this video, thanks! Loved the shirts!
Thank you! 🙂👌
Turned out great.
Cassandra Knight 💯
That heat press is crazy. Loved the bloopers.
En Sabac ya it is!! Haha thanks!
UPDATE: We now carry our own Silky Blank Sublimation shirts! Woohoo 🎉 You can check them out and get them for your sublimation projects here:

The blackout shirt is really nice!
Kathy Kelly agreed! 👌🏽👌🏽
So dope !!
Y'all, he says the printer is a Mutoh RJ900x. He even popped the model number up on the lower left of the screen. Plz watch the vid before asking questions. This dude is giving you free info. Respect.
Looks good 👍🏼👌🏽

Awesome.
AWESOME 👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Hei there! Thanks for your video! Can I ask What is the heat press you have ?
Loved the video. A friend and I have been looking for a way to do this for a certain industry. I do have 2 questions if you don’t mind.
#1 Does your printer use certin inks?
#2 Where do you get transfer paper that big?
Dope brotha
Can you share the name of the heat press? or link? Super Thank you!
Where are you getting black out shirts. And again where did you get printer and press?
How long do they stay vibrant with color
The printer you change the normal ink to sublimation ink and what model the printer ?
Would this technique be possible for hoodies. There I would be even harder to get the wrinkles out.
what press is that?
Could it work to press front and back at the same time?
How do you do it from the phone to place the picture on the shirt?
I'd certainly be putting either craft paper or a spare piece of cloth inside the neck section so that it doesn't print inside the shirt and on the tag...
what brand name heat press and where you ordered?
Do you have links to the equipment you use? How much does the wide printer and the press cost?
Do you have to print a new copy for each shirt, or is the paper reusable? Thanks
What kind of paper are you using. I noticed you don’t put anything in between your shirts like butcher paper to keep it from bleeding onto the back of the shirt. Can you tell me how you are doing that. Love the videos.
Nice
Escelente video. Friend please, price to machines in USA?
If you have a hard template (made of poster board or even super thin wood) to put inside the shirt, that will stretch the shirt enough to avoid those wrinkles on the sleeves and shoulder areas. It will also prevent the print from being subbed onto the inside of the shirt through the neckhole. The downside is you'll need one of these hard templates for each size of shirt you sub onto. And you'll have to find a way to deal with the ink that subs onto the template through the shirt fabric (you may be able to coat or cover the hard template with a silicone cover that can be wiped clean after each press session).
The cool thing about dye sub is that the ink doesn't bleed through. Great idea to use a hard template!
Hey Dany, Where can i buy blank shirts from? I like the black out and the jerzees
On Alibaba
Hi, I'm Sam from Papua New Guinea. I Think This Tutorial is Awsome. I've been Printing Iron-On's for a Couple of years now.....I'm Interested in switching to Sublimation. Can you please send me Catalog for the Sublimation Printer + Heatpress. Thanks
What kind of printer do you use for dye sublimation?
I just looked at the app and I can't find where to do the shirts
Hey Danny! Been watching all your videos, every single one has been so informative and amazing. Loving it all! Just wondering the name of your bigger heat press & what software you're using right in the intro? Thanks!
Damilola Idowu glad to hear it! 😊
Software is wasatch. And machine is a 40x48” import from China found on Alibaba
Silky Socks Thank you very much bro! Keep up the great content. If you get a chance would love to see a video about your packaging set up for the socks! 💪
Hey I watch all of your videos and they are very informative could you tell me the model of the bigger press or how did you go about choosing that one on the alibaba sight I have been searching all day
How many shirts can be "Subliminated" from one printout? Also can you use the "sublimination" ink on ANY inkjet machine? Thanks in advance!
What printer did you used sir?
Can we add any ink and where is ink section?
WOW! SUPER WOOOOOW! now i have the idea on how to do that.. Thank You very much, im following your channel Silky Socks, im your NO.1 FAN.. thank you .... from: DJFLX of #i_flxprints CEBU, CITY PHILIPPINES
What kind of heat press is this ?
How do you create the shirt template?
What type of printer is that ?
are the prints thick or is it transparent like a waterbased print
What are the price on that printer and heat press
What the type model of second printer
What is the approximate cost of machine
Hello Dannesh Ive been following you for a while now great work. I have 2 questions if you only do front side only on the all white sublimation shirt how do you prevent the ink from bleeding through the back? also do you mind providing the china vendor that you purchased your large format heat press from?
There’s really no ink. Just the transfer paper
what PSI are you using?
Nice!
Hilarious outtakes 😂
BO Mott haha! Thanks!! 😇
I just subscribed. Where did you get those presses from? I know you said China. But do you have a contact? Also how much with shipping where they?
Who made the background music?
what model press are you using?
Cant it be done on a Black T-Shirt?
I want to buy a machine full setup.. from bangladesh .What is the price?
Hey Dannesh, enjoying your videos especially the one where you travelled to China to meet your suppliers, something I plan to do when my biz grows large enough for huge orders. BUT anyway about this video, at 12:40 you are laying the design over the blackout t-shirt and the design appears to go over the round collar so the question is why did the design not get printed on the collar?
and what brand is the knockout shirt? i don't think any of the blank apparel suppliers i deal with have that style of shirt.
thanks!
Jerry Simpson hey Jerry, glad you like the videos and the content! So the blackout shirt is by Sublivie, model #1902. And the collar is black. That’s why it won’t show up on black. Sublimation print will only show up on 100% polyester white fabric and some light colors and blends. But never on black.
@@SilkySocks ah ok but then why did you need to use those cardboard cutouts on the black sleeves then if sublimation won't print on black?
Jerry Simpson to avoid some of the sort of tint the ink leaves. You can hardly see it on black. But putting that cardboard over the sleeves just protect the sleeves from that altogether. A cardboard in the neck area is also a good idea. Both optional
how to you do just the sleeves like your shirt, looks cool as hell
Joel the shirt I’m wearing I actually purchased a store then got our logo silk screened lol
I like your content.looking forward to work with you
Eric Goodwin thank you!
I need that heat press lol
That cigar shirt is fresh! What bulk supplier do you get your black out shirts from??
Charles Gates Jr we got these from TSC or Alpha Broder. They are the Sublivie brand
Hello Sir..thnk you for the great video...can we sublimation on grey 100% polyster shirt material?
You can, but there will be a color shift. Whatever is white will be grey.
Bro that app is crazy 😳
LOL yessir!! We put a ton of years of development with our team into making it and improving it.
Love your videos dude💯.
Please tell me how long does the color catch on the clothes? And if it is a special color would be happy if you tell me 🙏
If you use sublimation ink the ink never will be fade.
the color remains the same because the fabric is polyester and does not fade, the sublimation ink.
Seems a very slow process per shirt, how can you keep the cost down?
the fish print on the paper was grey, and the after heat press on tshirt it's green ... you get to choose color when?
what is your printer model
Could u sublimate item twice to double the color vibrancy/longevity?
No that doesn’t really do good. One sub is best
Great video, Where can i get the black polyester shirt?
From me
Hi guys, where are you located, I am interested in produce some sport shirts . Let me know
I didn't even know printers and heat press get this big
How long does the print last or does it fade easily?
The print is dyed into the fabric now. So it does not wash or fade out. It will last as long as the fabric lasts!
Why don't you use a T-shirt form you can stretch the shirt over to remove all creases? One out of .100 chipboard would be easy to use and cheap to make.
Do you sale blank tshit? Where may I buy it? TiA
El taller de la Chama N no we don’t sell blank shirts. We bought these. They are jerseys 21m brand.
Hey mate.. how much do you charge for custom designed full sub shirts each
Quantity
What is the material of the white shirt?
It’s a 100% polyester shirt! We now offer our own blank white shirt for sublimation which is 95% polyester and 5% spandex! :)
Hi first time watching love it but the app how much is it and would love to have the t shirt app but how does it really work to customize my own shirt at home with my phone android can I use my Samsung laptop to ? Thank u
Hey there, awesome yes just look up Silky Socks App on Google play store or here is a link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fullstack.www.SilkySocks&hl=en_US&gl=US
Play around with it once you download it and lmk if it works well or what you think! Happy Holidays :)
Oh ok great thank you
What happens after you wash a few times? show the result
Rod nothing. Good as new. Sublimation doesn’t fade. It’s dyed into the fabric
the color remains the same because the fabric is polyester and does not fade
Printers Model and Price pls? if possible to explore it ✌️
$5,560 Mutoh RJ900x
How much do you charge to print shirts? I have my own design that I can email to you.
Can you do it on cotton t's? Does it fade easily? Enjoying your videos!
Who Me? No this will not work on cotton. Sublimation is only for polyester. Thanks 😊
Hello, what is the fabric?
Hi, It’s a 100% polyester shirt. We now offer our own blank white shirt for sublimation which is 95% polyester and 5% spandex!
why you dont use inserts for T shirts?
ascain91 so do you mean insert to stretch the shirt? That’s not needed. But a sheet of paper in between the front and the back is a good idea to avoid the front bleeding on to the back. And vice versa. I skipped that step in this tutorial as that is optional also.
Also a lint roller to pick up small particles. Great video great content 👍
Yo inspired by your hustle.. I would like to know how much you invested in the printers etc or do you just rent them. I would love to do all over tshirts but those wide format printers and heat presses are expensive lol
Dom thank you. You can look into the prices from USA or overseas Heatpress suppliers. I purchased the printers from a company called Jantex Inks.
@@SilkySocks Thank You, I will look into it.
@@SilkySocks WHERE U GET PRESS?
Bossette Custom Apparel Found it online via Alibaba
@@SilkySocks yeah i found some on there
So you can only sub light colors, correct!? Probably a silly question
Hey there, 2 years later here is your reply to your awesome question :) You can sub any color but the blank must be white or a light color. As sublimation won’t show up on black or a dark color. Using a white blank or base will give you the best “dye” sub base and finish as you saw in this video. Happy Holidays :)
how do u get the size of the print per shirts size?
Edgar Elizondo we use a template
@@SilkySocks where can I get them or buy them
@@SilkySocks hello
Where can I buy that
Hello do you still offer these printing services?
Hi we actually discontinued our printing service and now offer the blanks to other print shops. So we are effectively a blanks socks and shirts supplier. Would you like us to connect you with one of our print shop clients that can help you with a custom shirt like this?
will you start seling these shirts in your store ?
Brick & Mortar Studio not sure if we will start carrying our own blank shirts. Maybe in the future
Bro you say we need at least a 44 inch wide printer but your image of the Jordan print does not cover the entire span of the page. Still about 12-15 inches of page on the left unused. So basically a 30 inch wide printer should be sufficient because you can always turn the image vertical to print the longest length.
That’s true isn’t it?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
Should’ve put cardboard in the neck area.
Street Status yea we usually do that on orders. I just skipped it in this tutorial as I find it optional not mandatory to do so.
yo bro loving the vid but at 6;43 in a mouse invades your video think ya better get that mouse
from the right in the yellow box
@@dirtydogfpv6905 - Wow good eye! I had to replay it 4 times before I caught it! 😄
@@coppereve0706 lo snap ps keep the vids coming help me a lot
Thx bro I’m bout to make sum cash 🤣
Machine washable?
Absolutely! Sublimation is dyed into the fabric once complete. So it does not wash out or fade!
