Thank you so much for the free printable's. MY Budget is soo tight. I've been doing Auto-pay with my Bills for at least 12 yrs now, and it has saved me and also no late payments on my History... .I recently re-vamped my budget by moving some auto pays to coincide with particular payperiods. Saved myself bout 200.00. Also called Verizon to see if they could help me lower my payments. Changed auto- insurance and now pay 48.00 auto + renters insurance included = $59.46. Just can't understand WHY I didn't do that sooner. 😅. Thought there was going to be a Light at the End of the Tunnel and learned that repairs on vehicle are going to be $ 2,800 dollars + new tires $ 943.... 😢😢 prayers needed...! Please Thank you..!! ❤

The power of influence and being in a group of like-minded, positive people shouldn't be underestimated. I went through a really rough time a little over 6 months ago. I lost my job and my home and ended up having to move back in with my parents temporarily. I quit cash stuffing and just did everything I could to help myself stay distracted and feel better. Which, unfortunately, included a lot of spending. I almost depleted my savings. Now, I'm trying to get a hold of those impulses, and that's started with watching cash stuffing videos again to get my brain back into the right mindset. It's working, slowly but surely. I'm excited to start seeing my envelopes grow again 😊
I went thru the same life experience.❤but now I will do budget ardently and won't be extravagant.i will save and make a budget binder like you made.😊promise to myself and save till I drop.promise to God and myself.
I have a 2024 calendar as the first thing you see on the left in my budget binder. Super handy!
I am so happy to see that I am not the only one that uses an old-school binder for my finances.. Like I tried all the fancy budget planners and budget binders and nothing worked. but yet somehow making it myself and using a regular cheap binder; it gets the job done! 🙂
For real! I see those all the time and I’m just like….. they look nice but….. little much for me. 😂
And most people don't use every page of the budget planners. Making your own makes it easy to only use what you know you are going to need.
I'm using your income n expense tracker and your no spend tracker 🎉🎉🎉 it helps tremendously and January was my first month trying no spend. 🎉im onto my second month yay!

I love the writing down everything you spend to see what you have spent your money on. Back in the late 90s a Pastor of mine had us to do it as a 30 day challenge, to write down everything we spent money on even down to a pack of gum. And while doing it, I found myself not wanting to spend any money.😂 so thank you for the reminder. I’m going to get back on track!

Me, too. Same exact thing. I knew about Dave Ramsey in the 90s. I have never been in debt until Jason and I had lifestyle creep- BAD. We would get in debt, pay it off and do it again. I think we did that 3x. This time was the last time. For the same reason you mentioned- we are not getting any younger. We can not afford to keep paying interest on who knows what! We don’t even know where it all went.
I have some more videos coming up that are more about budgeting.
I actually really like doing those types of videos. I think they are more helpful.

I am so happy you did this video. I’ve done some form of it for decades and it WORKS! And making the binder your own by personalizing to your favorite colors and aesthetic makes budgeting not so bad. Great job👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Such a great video and I love the resources Jen! I'll be honest, I actually have a section in my budget for impulse/fun purchases. It really helps me add that fun spontaneity that I need in my life and really helps me stick to the priorities in my budget.
Nothing wrong with that! I think it’s always however you want to do it. We all have such different wants, needs, incomes, stories, bills, families, locations, goals, - it’s ALL different! 💛

Jen! This was the reason I started cash stuffing last year! I thought I was budgeting but it was simply passive tracking of expenditures. Whatever I saved ended up coming back out of my savings to pay off my credit cards every month! Now I definitely have the reigns on my finances thanks to budgeting. I feel more motivated, excited even to see where my money is going each week. I feel like I have goals and direction and chipping away at those each week is everything! ❤

Love it! So helpful for those who are new to this process. I only have a couple of bills on Auto Pay. I don’t like it for those that fluctuate from month to month. I want to have more control of it!!! I have 2 credit cards left to pay and then I will also be debt free!!!! My last phone payment to Verizon is this month… no more phone debt!!! I think I’m going to roll that $30 to a sinking fund for technology so I can start saving for the next phone needed (between me and my daughters). 💜

2 month’s ago…I bought on Etsy a cash budget system for a binder and 2 things…1. Thank You for making these free that was incredibly kind of you and I really like your color scheme. When I printed out the one I originally bought on Etsy it came out too light. I will buy yours because I am into plants 🪴 and I like how u added them on your budget pages and I like your color scheme better. Great job!

Happy Thursday ❤ yes i can only imagine the headache u would have going thru 20pages of bank statements... i love cash budgeting and glancing through binders and seeing progress made in savings... its just a great feeling of accomplishment of not spending it all .. sliding a credit card its so easy and if ur not responsible ull surely spend all the cash...thats reason i love cash envelopes ... love the See It, Like It, Want it tracker to save on impulsive purchases and using that money towards something else ❤ 14:59

My weakness is that when my hubby is on shift, I don't want to cook 😅 it's so easy to just go grab some take out. I was so grossed out whenever I actually sat down with the numbers and my poor choices and realized how much could have been saved instead. So I've been holding myself accountable by charging myself. If I wanted take out and was willing to go spend the money for it then I would figure up how much I would have spent and I would put half of that total into a savings challenge and I go find something in the fridge or the pantry whether I wanted to or not. My savings challenges have been getting completed a little quicker 😂

Thank you for the printables. I'm trying to save for a printer. But it's more of a want than a need right now. Once I do get it though, I'll be set! I'm trying to not buy physical products, and eventually print my own.
I go to the local library and it only costs 10¢ per copy for black and white, colors cost 20¢ per color copies.
I was just going to say the library is a great place- I love going. I haven’t been much since all my kids grew up. I miss it.

Should I tell my 401k Fidelity to hold my payments what they take out of my check it’s around 50.00 a week
So I followed DR to the T for quite a while, and the only thing I can say is that I regret that I stopped my contributions to my 401k up to the match. It took me almost 10 years to get out of debt, and I lost 10 years of a match. Otherwise his plan is a good starting point.
Not only are they targeting with ads EVERYWHERE, they also have those payment plans! You could buy this & make 4 payments over 4, 6, or 12 months!
