lewis is criminally underrated. if it wasn't for him, the girls would have been exposed countless times, yet at the end of the day it still felt like they didn't trust him (i doubt he would have gotten with charlotte if it wasn't for the girls treating him like he was an outsider when he was an invaluable member of the team)

I thought i was the only one who noticed that they were ungrateful towards him, while all Lewis did was spending his time helping them while doing research and stuff. He deserved better
Yeah I think that sometimes the girls were pretty rude and unfair, especially Rikki, they should’ve been more grateful towards him. I love their friends dynamic tho and Ig, at the end of the day, they truly appreciate his constant support and help, even if they don’t show it or they blame him. Btw, you did a great work as always, this gives some justice to Lewis🥺💕

I never saw the problem with Lewis taking Charlotte to Mako. It’s not as if there was a big sign that said "THESE GIRLS ARE MERMAIDS." Lewis wouldn’t have obviously taken her to the pool either and literally anyone could have taken a boat to the island. Their anger at him for that was a little unjustifiable for me. Especially when they literally went to camp there with Cleo’s family and no one freaked out because they were going THERE, but because it was a full moon.
How come the girls doesn't realize how hard he is protecting their secret his whole life while being treated unfair
This video just proves why Lewis is the best charcater in H2O in my opinion. He always helped the girls out even when they did not treat him so well. He's a great friend who always tried his best to protect the girls' secret! But thats just how I see it 😆

Lewis is one of my favorite characters. He always tried to help the girls. Even when he learned the secret he was terrified but still wanted to help Cleo. He always tried to keep the secret, he did experiments on them because he wanted to know how it happened and help them control it. Even when he was with Charlotte he always told him he was there for them. He saved Rikki's life. He helped save the girls from Doctor Denmen. He broke up with Charlotte because he always loved Cleo more, he tried to help with the water tentacle. He even almost gave up an offer to study science in America because he didn't want to leave his girlfriend behind. Mr. Setori literally made him his best man in his wedding y'all

It’s sad how there is a compilation of this. As a kid I always thought they were the best of friends. As I like grew up and rewatched I realized how much they don’t even appreciate anything he’s done. He’s taking the energy out of his time to figure out scientifically how they became mermaids and yea I totally get how defensive they are about keeping the secret hidden, but if they wanted answers so bad they should’ve just put some trust in him. Most of the time they aren’t appreciative, I mean what kinda of friendship is this ..

Lewis had and always be my favorite character yeah i get they were teens but come on they are at the age to know better and to know that the way they treated him was unacceptable lewis was the best friend any girl could want and the best boyfriend he was so nice and yeah i get the girls wanted to do it own their own sometimes but come on in reality they wouldn’t of got that far cause lets not the girls tend to not listen either and think they know everything but without lewis they wouldn’t went to the lengths of research and to find out about themselves like lewis did they wouldn’t of known what to do which would’ve gotten them caught easily to become an science experiment in a lab

FINALLY A VIDEO OF HOW LEWIS WAS TREATED BADLY !! Like when Lewis kissed Charlotte it was so she wouldn’t see cleos tail and he was trying to explain to her but she wouldn’t listen & plus Cleo would tell Lewis she didn’t want him back but still got mad at him for hanging with Charlotte which I hated that !! And also when Cleo told Lewis “ your not one of us” she shouldn’t have asked for his help in the first place !! I feel like Emma was the least one who treated Lewis badly cuz she sometimes would defend him like when Cleo was jealous when Lewis & Charlotte were hanging and read her diary Emma was defending Lewis and telling Cleo there just friends!! rikki treated him so horrible I didn’t like her for that reason and Cleo to I also didn’t like her & Emma I liked her a lot but I just didn’t like when treated Lewis badly yk!! But it wasn’t that often & also hated when rikki Emma Cleo thought Lewis stole her job when he didn’t know !! there so much reason why I hate the girls just not Emma yk sometimes also everybody can come at me but I sometimes liked Charlotte because atleast she told Lewis it wasn’t his fault at the job & never told him to go away like the girls did. So there are some of my reasonings!!
It’s not not even just him! Will as well was always brushed aside and treated like an idiot for comedic relief. It’s honestly a little upsetting to see them being treated so badly when all they ever wanted to do was help. Yes they’re not mermaids but they want to understand

i will never stop to think charlotte deserved lewis the most. her maturity, appreciation and respect was amazing and i root for their relationship. everyone had flaws including charlotte (we usually forgive characters their flaws, so why should this be an exception) (mistakes were made against her and that worsened her traits when time passed, not her being "evil" or anything), but imo the relationship deserved more investment on lewis's end. it's sad how cleo managed to make lewis ashamed of his new relationship (with her childish tantrums in the beginning), using him like her property though she dumped him, so she manipulated his mind into CONSTANTLY being pushed and pulled by thoughts of his ex.
he kept emotionally neglecting charlotte for the mere shadow of his ex (all the secrets, hiding and insincerity) and that really made me furious because i wanted their relationship to develop and then AGAIN something stole his attention away.
i think i should write an alternate fanfiction with more justice. i will definitely put rikki into her place (this brat drove me mad in season 2), give lewis appreciation he deserves and offer charlotte an untoxic starting point (without this jealous girl invading her diary as a first thing ever and ruining a carefully planned dinner out of the blue), and environment where she doesn't have to develop into the "bad one". because she deserves better

I can see both sides of the story, but in the end they still stayed friends. They still got through all of it. That is what counts.
If I was Lewis's friend I would be way nicer to him and I would be there for him just like how he's always there for them. He's way more loyal to them verses them being loyal to Lewis. They would easily turn against Lewis, but Lewis would never easily turn against them. Yes, sometimes Lewis should have gave them some space but I feel like they should've still treated him much better. He deserved better more appreciating friends

They never trusted him just because he’s not a mermaid like them

I agree with everyone here but honey I just hated him in season 2, HEAR ME OUT, before y’all comment, I just think when Charlotte stepped in, he was literally so clueless, and you’d think he’d be smarter on how to handle situations, like I feel like this is mostly on Charlotte but also it’s so sad how he was easily manipulated by Charlotte, yet when it came to the girls (in that season) he’d be against them on some stuff, like “don’t worry everything is under control, just trust me she’s not gonna find out anything… blah blah blah” but with Charlotte she had him wrapped around his little finger and seemed to have more trust in her than the girls which honestly dissapoinred me, however his unconditional support and research he did in order to help out the girls really did show how much he cared for them and was willing to do just abt anything for them to stay in the clear!!
