- This is the room tour I promised as a "100,000 subscriber special". Sorry it took so long ;-)
In this video, I show you my craft room, at home. I call it a home office but it is rather the place where I think, work, design & create things. So it is much more than an office. It is my little bubble.

One thing I really like about your videos is that there's no music !! or intros, etc. I think music can be really distracting/give you a different idea about the video and sort of take it out of reality?? if that makes sense? I think it says a lot about your character, no distractions/nothing getting in the way of the point you're trying to make and very organized. Anyway, congratz on the 100+k!

Yes!! OMG I can't believe I hadn't realized until now. The music usually bothers me so much. Many youtubers have it too loud and it makes it harder to understand them, especially if they have an accent I'm not used to hearing or if they speak super fast. Really disctracting

As a grandmother I was warmed by your obvious love for your grandmother. My grandmothers died before I was born and I've always felt that lack in my life so now I try hard to be a loving presence in my granddaughter's life.
My husband's grandmother made handmade quilts for each of her grandchildren. My husband can point out pieces of dresses and blouses that were worn by the female members of his family so long ago now.
Congratulations on your achievement. You are a credit to your grandmother.

I have a collection of hand made kilims from our wedding and honemoon and unless their are guests coming I keep them rolled up in a corner of the room. They are too precious. Ohhh, I learned to sew on this exact same machine! It was my mother's and after her death I regretted like crazy discarding it in favour of a more modern machine (student home, didn't really have room for two and needed buttonholes and stuff). I wish I had taken the trouble of shipping it home, those old full metall pfaffs are great workhorses. I still have my mother's sewing scissors, though, they have a place of honour in my workroom as well ☺

I was so happy to see a Pfaff! My mom has one, and has for as long as I can remember. I believe she got it the first time we lived in Germany, back in the late 70s. Truly enjoyed seeing your creative space. Love the idea of magnetic boards.

I love your office, it is organized but you can also feel the love and thought you have given when choosing every element of it. I especially love your candles and the carpet your grandma gave you (the more emotional part of your office). I wish you all the best!

On another note, it was so genuine that your 'inspiration' side is a simple shelf of stacked books and not anything "showy" with inspirational quotes and photos and what have you (stuff that people usually do in the name of pseudo-creativity). I found it functional that the books are at arm's reach.
