It’s past time for a rebalancing and adjustment of the old guard. They just aren’t fun or effective against the newer cards. I’m loving the 9k Trainer/Coaching abilities that have been popping up and the free MLC Superstars are definitely stronger than they used to be, but as a community we need to ask about rebalancing OLDER cards, the forgotten gems and building blocks of our humble beginnings. Ask for them to replace unlicensed Superstars (Arn Anderson is a big one), I feel bad for newer players because he’s VITAL to any Botch Gem build. This applies to Rezar as well. Ask for fixing the older Superstars before making a 6th version of another. I have played WWE Champions for almost 5 years and I still don’t have the first Shard for Rezar. I’m relying on KoK’s Triple H to get another whopping 2 Green Gems, thus rendering so many possible killers in my roster several classes from mediocre to useless. Move damage needs to be scaled to match the current meta. Some Superstars are stronger than others, this is true and integral for immersion, but too many cards retain the ridiculously low Move Damage of the start of the game. They have the highest MP Charges (every Class is faster now, PH Finishers are 10 MP) and very underwhelming Move Damage. If you can’t acquire a great Strap and Move Damage Medals that toon is going to be very underwhelming. Period. The Life Steal and Bleed damage both need scaling ASAP...as they are just impotent on most older Superstars. Trickster Roman Reigns can’t even put anyone down with his Samoan Drop because the Life Steal amount is pathetic and he was the only Life Steal Trainer for years. Striker Rollins is in the same boat but it’s Bleed Damage. So low it’s laughable. This would open up several more uncommonly used toons potential as they are literally thousands of damage behind the current meta. Thank you for reading this if you did. 🤘🏻❤️

Medals and a good skill plate would make a big difference on the first build. Thinking the x break or blue bomber plates in particular.
The five star move with the purple countdown gem move also does have a lot of potential. Pair it with the purple choose to destroy.
Finisher is basically just for facing or tagging with zSeth as you said. Maybe they make that countdown gem damage trainer or a gear boost for him one day. Only way to make it viable otherwise.
Well. I have jey at 5 bronze. And that is not how u use him to be honest. Have a look again DJ. U have more options.

This is the best set up to run him for singles
