it's not completely correct to say Danish pastries come from Austria, you can't really get them in Austria, if you fin something similar they call the "Kopenhagener Plunder" or "Danishe Plunder" " so they see it as being Danish , it's more correct to say the Austrian bakers inspired the Danish bakers and they thought them to make the dough it's similar to croissants , many thin layers with butter between, it developed from there, Danes call them Wienerbrød "bread from Vienna" as a salute to the Austrian bakers

    Please do come back.
About drinking age: drinking age has been 18 in bars and restaurants forever. A much more recent law requires you to be 18 to buy hard liquor and 16 to buy beer and wine in stores. This is not consistently enforced. There is no laws about drinking in private.

Mike and Derek lives in Copenhagen, so of course they've got time to explore, and has a lot of content about Denmark from an international (mostly American) perspective.
Also their co-ops with a British comedian Conrad Molden are quite fun, he's in particular pointing out the peculiarities about our language 😀 I guess the culture difference from UK to DK isn't that big. He's also got an YT channel and his shows are in Danglish so I believe that you'll understand most of it.
So, yeah, come around another time if you like, but do spend more time... if you get a Copenhagen card again, you'll see that it offers many free or discounted entries to a bunch of museums and thus castles, if that's your thing.
If you've got time to visit Odense that's really where you'll find most stuff about H. C. Andersen and trains. And that city's got a quite different vibe than Copenhagen.
Lego is from Billund, and that's also where you find the Legoland theme park, if you say that theme parks usually isn't top of your list, then at least visit the Lego House, that's more of a playground, no roller coaster rides.
Aarhus feels more like CPH than Odense, but again still a different vibe.
But there are so many interesting places to go... 3 days, just for Copenhagen, will make you feel rushed... with 7 days, you could afford a couple of day-trips, but you'll still need to plan it according to your interests, if you just wander around you'll sure see some interesting stuff, but you might miss out regarding stuff you're really interested in.
For instance if you're into learning science in a fun way, there's Experimentarium in Hellerup or the Danfoss park in southern Jutland. The zoo's and animal parks around the country are also quite nice if you're into that.
But, unless you're obsessed with santa and xmas, I'll recommend that you visit in the summer half year, while the mornings and evenings are bright and the trees have leaves. Apart from xmas our winters are long, cold and dark...

Great video, amazing history, but slightly out of date, Queen Margrethe has retired now! King Frederik and Queen Mary are now heads of Denmark Royals, and have four children to follow! When they visit Australia they stay at our Governer General's home! The Tivoli gardens looks worth visiting! Dar, you can only see so much in a few days! 😄

Next time you come to Denmark, be sure to go outside of Copenhagen as well, because a lot of our history is in Jylland and Fyn too. The oldest town is Ribe in South-West of Denmark it dates back to 700 AC. It’s beautiful and definately something you never saw😁

Fantastic history, the Queen retired recently and our Queen Mary and King Frederik hold the Royal Titles and have four children to take over! I loved Hans Christian Andersen stories as a child in Tasmania, and the old musical movie! You will need to go back to see all of these places, great video! 🙋👍

And the 15th thing American dont know about Denmark was a company called Color Climax which produced CP and beastiality, because in Denmark there werent any laws against it. "Color Climax was one of the only large-scale commercial producers of CP to openly advertise the fact. It produced the first European commercial CP films. From 1969 to 1979, Color Climax was responsible for the relatively large-scale distribution of CP.
