The point of white is ‘virginal’ the bride is ahem..untouched. So showing off the ‘goods’ is very inappropriate, however, a gem studded bra could be worn perhaps?!🤔 personally, a wedding for most, not all is a sacred traditional thing, and yet you do you boo is the phrase. Well, solution for that is a lace shawl matching the dress let all the elders have fun eat toast and go home lol!!! Adults are ready to parteeee! Turn down the lights and dance your butt off, oh and have a DD k? Stay safe y’all!🙏🏻🧐😂❤️
Gowns on the runway are often to showcase the details, styles and trends. Many shear gown can be lined and still be beautiful. 41 years ago when I was married, my father would have swallowed his teeth if I looked at such a gown. But times change, and women now see their bodies as beautiful rather than sinful.
I love the material that was but all the models faces look like they are going to a funeral.😊

There seems to be a move towards more regal wedding gowns this season. The fabrics and the beading work is stunning.
Why does design overlook mobility?
Because women have not worn big poofy dresses for over a century. One has to learn how to walk in them.

I swear, though, if I had to stop breathing fully and have an entourage of folks just helping me wear it......I'm certain Anna is never inviting me, so I'll just keep watching and loving it. Much agreed! I am a bride at age 59 who has had MS 40 years. I am spending $1000 to alter my dress so it will meet these needs as I ride down the aisle on my scooter. Gowns for the disabled should be a whole line by some designer!

The "Pope" headpiece reminds me of Celine Dion's wedding headpiece which she said was a nightmare to wear because of its weight.

Hi Dean, thanks for your comment. Tastes differ, and that's good. There is actually a big demand for these elaborate wedding dresses, especially in Arab countries, Asia and Eastern Europe.
You cannot wear a veil with most of these dresses and see through dresses. Speaking of see through dresses; never for a wedding !

The ball gowns were somewhat medieval and this over the top use of glimmer and shimmer! Fantastic! I'll be excited to see how these looks might be toned down but included in less pricey bridal fashions. That was so much fun!

Not every gown is to my liking, but the beading is stunning throughout the collection.

These dresses are gorgeous! Great work. I can only imagine how many hours it takes to make each one. I would love to see you show more plus sized dresses in your collections. Thee are so many of us out here that need sizes 20 plus. Why can't the models smile? It's their "wedding" day so to speak. SO many of them were getting caught on their dresses but they were all very professional in hiding it.

Elie Saab, a Lebanese couturier who always closes his haute couture show in Paris with a spectacular wedding dress like the ones you've seen in the video, revealed that his team often spends 450 hours doing the dresses' embroidery, 150 hours with draping, and 200 hours of tailoring. Therefore, an haute couture wedding dress can be as expensive as a luxury car.
You are right, fashion designers should present more plus size models and dresses. We will keep that in mind for our future bridal fashion videos.

There are no words... I think one of the most beautiful fashion shows I've ever seen in many years. A leap back in time... The music is also beautiful. The only thing in my opinion that should have been thought of differently was the path of the models: having very loose clothes, it was uncomfortable to cross each other in the central aisle.

Very large and beautiful gowns with everything a young bride could ever dream of. My issue is some of the really low cut and totally see thru gowns..yikes..all the rest are absolutely stuuning.

Beautiful! The last head piece reminds me of a Canadian singers head piece she wore at her wedding. Celine Dion! The head piece is very close. This one is beautiful also. The shape is close. Check it out. The show was amazing though! ❤❤❤
Hi Dawn! Thank you very much for your comment. You are right, Celine Dion wore a spectacular head piece when she got married in 1994. She wore a wedding dress designed by Mirella and Steve Gentile. Her intricate tiara was embellished with 2,000 Swarovski crystals and weighed 7 pounds!

The dresses are heavy
Hi Maike, thanks for your comment. These wedding dresses are very heavy and often very long. Models are not used to walking in such elaborate dresses. Moreover, they have to walk in high heels.
Old Tutor Queens and Russian influence with go big or go home attitude.
It is not only dresses, which are often extremely big and too long. Consider also all the undergarments, such as petticoats and maybe crinoline cages needed to achieve such volumes of the skirts. If they are a bit too long, models will have their feet hitting them all the time and may tangle or trip over them, so they have to walk more cautiously. That, unfortunately, does not look easy or graceful , but more of a struggle.

Beautiful fabric's. However, many of the dresses DO NOT look like bridal dresses but evening gown's.

Não gosto do carnaval, não confundo aquilo com alegria saudável. Já vi outros desfiles e realmente modelos não sorriem e há uma neutralidade de emoção, mas nesse desfile específico houve uma sensação negativa, parece que estavam lá contrariadas, sabe noiva obrigada a casar? Essa foi a sensação que passaram. Acho que estavam desconfortáveis na coleção ou não foram bem tratadas no backstage e/ou camareiros
They are stunning but the poor girls can’t even walk in some of them. Did they not have a rehearsal and catch this before the show to hem them up?
Hi, thank you very much for your comment. You are right. Walking in those heavy or very long wedding gowns is not easy. Due to the fact that 37 bridal fashion shows took place in only four days and that the models were booked for numerous shows, they didn't really have the time to rehearse.

some dresses it seem like you only saw the back…one was a vertical striped squarish back,…didn’t see anything that matched the front. poor model, walking like a penguin……audience clapped when she finally made the last 15 feet. looked she had done a marathon.
Absolutely gorgeous gowns, but I never realized how important a giant grin and glowing face is so important to this particular runway theme. The robot like countenance of the models was very annoying for the product presented.

Stunning gowns but very fantasy and many are very Elizabethan in style.Not very practical .I cannot deny the beauty of the gowns but not sure they were all wedding dresses.The show itself was a bit lacklustre for me though .
The dress may be beautiful but those faces.
The fabrics are exquisite but the designs look far too theatrical for bridal gowns.

Hola Silvia, gracias por tu comentario. Pienso que tiene que haber vestidos de novia para todos los gustos. Es verdad que en Europa van de moda los vestidos de novia sencillos, románticos y fluidos. Pero en otras partes del mundo como por ejemplo los países árabes van muy de moda los vestidos de novia muy elaborados y voluminosos. En las próximas semanas seguirán también videos con vestidos de novia más modernos y sencillos.
Shame the models seem to have no idea how to walk and kick the skirt out so they don't trip!

Some of these look like evening gowns and ball gowns.
They do not look like a regal, celebrated bride.

Some can’t even walk, just waddle there are some stunning ones aswell even Tudor looking great, but noticed none has boobs so if you have boobs then these are not for you, and way to expensive.

I know these poor things are starving but it's time to do away with the deathmask model face, especially when modeling wedding dresses ( even ugly ones).
These models must have been going down the aisle for an arranged marriage. Some pretty unhappy brides.

@@vertigomagazine2568 I’m pretty sure they don’t smile in the United States either. It just seems especially incongruent when the clothes are specifically for weddings. It would be interesting if the models were instructed to have a medium, somewhat pleasant look on their face (not grinning from ear to ear) if it would effect the general public’s perception of the clothes being modeled. @@FreeSpiritinLove We fully agree with you. As a model, you can express feelings even without smiling. It is probably easier for professional models who hit the runway at the Haute Couture Week in Paris. They have been trained and they know how to avoid mistakes, whereas the models booked for this Bridal Fashion Week are mostly amateur or beginner models.
