    ⚡ABOUT MATT POWELL⚡
Matt Powell grew up in a Christian home in Durand, MI. As a child, he struggled with his faith in God due to being continually challenged by the teenagers on the bus route to church. Some of them didn't believe in God, but they would come to church just for the treats and the friends they made. Matt ended up becoming agnostic at a very young age as a result. His parents had issues with him as well. When he was 11 years old, his parents introduced him to the Creation Science Seminar Series by Dr. Kent Hovind. Dr. Hovind's work brought Matt to an understanding of the truth of God's Word. One week after listening to the Creation Series, he went to a tent revival at Antrim Baptist Church in Fowlerville, MI, and heard a powerful sermon by Jason Kendrick on salvation. Matt trusted Christ as his Savior after the first service of the revival.

When Matt turned 19 years old, he received basketball scholarships from over 40 different colleges and universities across the USA. He attended college at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2015. During his time there, some of his friends and colleagues fell away from faith in God. This bothered him deeply... As a result, he quit the basketball team, and began preaching the Gospel of Christ. He has always loved basketball and was looking to become a professional basketball player before becoming a public speaker: • Matt Powell's Basketba...

Matt was lambasted across the internet when he joined the Creation vs. Evolution debate. One of the first people who attacked him was "The Raging Atheist" - an atheist youtuber who's career was destroyed by Powell on November 20, 2018 when the Movie "SCIENCE falsely so called" was released. • "SCIENCE falsely so ca...
Matt has gone on to debate many well known youtubers and PhD's, and takes down their arguments by simply using the Bible. Ultimately, his goal is to get people to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He doesn't like to do debates, but he says that he's willing to if it means that he can get people to abandon irrational beliefs.

This is important for us to realize as Christians. The Bible says not to put confidence in the flesh. We need to walk humbly before the Lord, and fight daily. Will be preaching more messages soon on how to overcome certain sins and live a happy life. God bless everyone. I'll be putting some content on this channel as well, so feel free to subscribe!

@@areyoumarrieddotwordpressd3631 so your of the devil because you sin. In fact you're sinning by saying you don't sin because that's a lie. Of course sin is of the devil. The difference is is when we're washed in the blood of the Lamb we are cleansed from that sin and it's no longer remitted to our account. There's way more in the Bible about men of God sinning then there is being perfect. In fact Solomon who fell on his own sword killing himself is in heaven. Samson also killed himself he's in heaven. I'm not saying that we shouldn't abstain from sin, I'm just saying sinless perfection is not salvation, because sinless perfection doesn't exist. Whenever you add repentance to Salvation other than changing your mind from a false religion to the true religion of Christianity your in a false gospel mindset. When Jesus spoke he said repent and believe the gospel. The gospel is his life, his death, his resurrection. And all that believe in him, that he rose from the dead and is the son of God is Saved. The Bible clearly states this too. A lot of people have developed this repentance spectrum disorder. Yes, living a clean life for God brings blessing, living in sin brings cursing. However you are saved. Watch once saved always saved by Pastor Steven Anderson or repentance spectrum disorder and it becomes very clear.
      1 Corinthians 3:13-15 KJV
"every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
      Ephesians 1:11-14
"In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
[12] That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
[13] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
[14] Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
      Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
" Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
      John 6:37-40
" [37] All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
[38] For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
[39] And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
[40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."
Salvation is a one time thing and is permanent. Once God adopts you into the kingdom of heaven you are forever his.
You don't get born again and again and again. I really highly suggest you watch once saved always saved. If you're on the cusp like what it sounds like you are this will definitely prove it to you.

Ironic this guy mentions Paul, then completely ignores Paul in Romans chapter 6. Yes if you are truly born again you can live a life without sinning. In fact if you continue to sin Christ does not live in you. Get a Bible, read for yourself, use the gospel of Paul since this guy mentions him, and read chapter 6 of Romans, then read chapter 7 where he talks about unsaved people living in sin who are not born of Christ, and the chapter 8 where he talks about those are born again. After reading for yourself you will know the truth. All have sinned, if they claim they haven’t they are liars and the truth is not in them. But if they are born again in the spirit of Christ Jesus they are no longer sinners. If they continue to sin then Christ does not live in them.

The issue with striving for sinless perfection is we have primal urges that God deems to be sin. A lot of sins don’t fall into this category but I’m more so referring to sexual immorality. Yes you can go days, weeks, months with denying these urges but they will always be there, unlike the desire to drink a beer or smoke a cigarette; the difference is theses other desires are not innate, they become addictions because we make the conscious decision to open that door. Whereas with sexual urges, those are developed naturally and never cease to exist. Anyways, that’s my take on the matter

If we legit could never sin again after coming to Christ, we wouldn't need instructions from Paul, John, and Peter to "walk in the Spirit" and if we do sin, we have an advocate. If we couldn't sin after coming to Christ, he wouldn't have taught us to pray daily, "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." We should feel "godly sorrow" when we sin and ask for forgiveness, without being flippant about our sin nature and abusing grace. It's a walk.

Hopefully, in the last year, you've read Romans 7:14-25. "For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the wishing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.... So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin."
The spirit of the unsaved cannot do good. (Gnosticism denies this.) The spirit of the saved does good, but the flesh (that is, actions motivated by the flesh) remains evil until the resurrection of the dead or transformation of those who remain alive. The scripture teaches that the actions of the flesh are 100% only evil. So if anyone does even a single good thing then it's evident they can overcome the flesh. It seems though that despite this, everyone will sin at least once. BUT believers can supernaturally live by the HS and crucify their fleshly mind. Believers can fully cease from sin. "Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin" (Romans 3:19-20).
Regarding Galatians, your interpretation forces 6:7-9 to contradict the rest of the book.
      - "Nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified"
      - "I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
      - "You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?"
      - "Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we may be justified by faith. 25But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor."
      - "You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace."
6:7-9 isn't about salvation; it's about the evidence of salvation and the rewards awaiting those who love God through their actions.

Get baptized in water also like the Ethiopian eunuch.
We must make every effort to work with the Holy Trinity not for keeping salvation because we can't lose it but for reaping righteousness and not corruption, to not grieve and quench the Spirit, to avoid discipline and possibly to avoid losing rewards according to 1 & 2 Corinthians. A real born again Spirit filled Christian can't continue to sin if they abide in Jesus (1 john 3:6, 1 john 3:9, 1 john 5:18). We must endure temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13) and we must keep in step with the spirit (Galatians 5:16-25).
If there's a sinning brother or sister we are not to eat nor associate with them, and excommunicate them even hand them over to satan so there spirit may be saved. Loving God is keeping the new covenant! Learn from the old covenant! Pray to Daddy alone, confess Jesus unto men, and be led by Holy Spirit! May God bless all my brothers and sisters!!!

Sinless perfection is Biblical. Those that say otherwise, do not believe in the power of the true God. Sinless perfection does not come from man, it comes from God…
1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
1 John 3:5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
1 John 3:6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
1 John 3:7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
1 John 3:8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
1 John 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

There can be periods in a believers life without sin:
7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over *ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance*. (Lk 15:7)
    Jesus instructs his followers:
“See, you are well! *Sin no more*, that nothing worse may happen to you.” (Jn 5:14)
John's writing is intended to prevent future sins, but caters for possible future sin.

You must not know the true interpretation of revelation, where it says what a truly righteous person is but after that a truly holy one. If we have sin on this earth, how will we be cleansed from it in the next life? Is it magic? Doesn't the bible say we have an unction from the holy one, and we know all things? How can something good come from something evil. Jesus didn't sin, and his resurrection body was perfect. How is that possible for us? Again, that's magic. The end of revelation explains we do have all of the rewards already, but I'm a little ahead of you on this one so I will indeed be rewarded accordingly in heaven.

“He that is born of God does not commit sin”. This verse should be understood in light of Romans 7.
Romans 7 teaches that the believer has a “dual nature”… The Outward Man (flesh) and the Inward Man (born-again spirit).
      HE WHO DOES NOT SIN
      -The New Man
      -The Inward Man
      -Born-Again Spirit
      HE WHO COMMITS SIN
      -The Old Man
      -The Outward Man
      -Body of Death (Romans 7)
      -The Flesh
The one who doesn’t sin is the New Man. According to Ephesians, He is created after God In righteousness.
Our flesh (Old Man) is corrupt and will continue to sin until death. Which is why we have to receive a new body at the resurrection.

John said before 1 John 3:8 “LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU. He that doeth righteousness is righteous JUST AS He is righteous. Romans 6 says obedience LEADS to righteousness. If you are in sin, you are a sinner. If you are walking in the Spirit, you are a saint.

You are strawmanning the perfection doctrine substituting it with a antinomian version of perfection, " even as i break Gods law its not sin" not the real perfection doctrine that says," breaking Gods law is sin, but you can stop breaking it " you need to clarify here. This is pretty lazy

What sort of "rewards" are you talking about? Do you think Heaven has better zip codes than others? Some Christians will have gas-powered cars and the premium channels, and others will be taking public transportation and unable to afford to go to ball games?
