I shop second hand for clothing majority of the time. I don't shop for clothing much, if any in stores anymore unless its a dire need. I am on a low income under $200 a month. I use thred up, garage sales or poshmark to buy things that I need that I grew out of like pants etc. Also buy shoes on poshmark but must be new. I won't wear someones used shoes. I like to giveaway some of my clothing to different people in my neighborhood or my never worn shoes to a family friend that is the same size.

My problem is that I clean out my closet too much & end up without clothes.
That is a dilemma and one half! At least you are organised enough to get rid of clothes that aren't suited to your style anymore at least half of my clothes have went untouched unsuited to the climate and for occasions. Hope you are having an amazing day!🌸

ThredUP actually isn’t taking in clothes from their customers to sell at the moment :( I think they got so overwhelmed due to the pandemic and everyone thrift shopping.
Actually they are accepting clothes now!! For the past month they weren’t! Lol. It still takes a while for them to receive your stuff but having site credit to go shopping is awesome! I had to take my clothes to a “Plato’s closet” type store last weekend and I only got $20 for 8/30 items I brought in :(
