It was kind of revolutionary. Graphics like these in games were totally unheard of in that time.
@@mbsfaridi yeah but for those of us who were gaming during that time it was beyond our comprehension to think that games could ever actually display graphics in real time that were as good as the pre-rendered cg in games like this. Then you got to the era of the Playstation and we thought we would never see graphics that would live up the the FMV sequences of games like Final Fantasy. So for us to now be playing games that blow CG of the 90's and even the 2000's out of the water is mind blowing.
I played this as a kid back in the mid 90s and haven't been so blown away by a game since. It came with our new PC and was the first game I every played with polygonal graphics and speech that you could actually understand. Took me well over a year to beat since the later arcade bits were absolutely brutal and I could barely understand English. Pretty sure 10 year old me solved the puzzle with the bomb faster than this guy though.
It was. It came with my IBM Aptiva back in 1995. I uploaded the entire playthrough to my channel. At that time, the graphics was awesome!

It ran for ten seasons and had two spin-offs. The last two seasons were also basically a spin-off after the show effectively concluded in season 8. And those two seasons also concluded in the two follow-up films. Were you drunk when you wrote that?

This game's actually pretty cinematic. I was impressed.
Throughout the video Adam makes fun of the game but according to wiki the game's cinematic, pre-rendered visuals were lauded back then. According to Philip Jong of Adventure Classic Gaming, Cyberia was "one of the first game titles to combine computer animations and Hollywood film technique to form visually stunning graphics and cut scenes."

I remember playing this in 96 on my PS1 when I was 21. I remeber thinking it's so real games can't get much better than this lol When your 1st system was an Odessy 2 it's easy to think that way. I'm 47 now and getting old. Although, I wouldn't trade the time period I grew up for nothing. Seeing basically the birth of video games up till now. It's been quite a ride.

I have a vague, vague memory of some of these scenes... I was born in 92. I texted my sister to see if we had this game as children and sure enough we did! I remember the "turn around slowly" scene and no matter what we did we always died lol. thanks for bringing back these memories!

Man this takes me back. This, along with doom are one of the first games I played. I can't forget how a 8-9 year old me would purposely make the wrong choice after the kissing part over and over again then go back as quickly as possible and do the kissing scene again.
I used to play this at a neighbor kids house in the late 90s. Those were the days.
